We caught up with the star at the airport early Wednesday morning ... and, jinkies, did she have a lot to say about her new role in the new series!
Check it out, gang ... we asked Mckenna if she's drawing inspiration from past "Scooby-Doo" movies -- animated or otherwise -- for her upcoming role in the live-action series as Daphne, and she says she's watched a large swath of the animated material out there.

Future is fighting his ex, Layla, in court after she brought a paternity suit seeking child support against the rapper, claiming he's the father of her 9-year-old son.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Layla filed the action against Future in a Florida court seeking to establish paternity and an order requiring him to pay child support.
Caroline Schwitzky of "90 Day Fiancé" is still trying to wrap her head around the acquittal of her ex, Cole Goldberg, who had been accused of trying to kill her ... and she feels betrayed by the system.
As you know ... Cole was acquitted of attempted murder last month. Schwitzky accused Goldberg of attempted murder back in 2022 -- she claimed the two got into a heated argument at the Boca Bash that year after she dumped Goldberg, and accused him of holding her head underwater.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Ice Spice is calling out the wig company Thee Bella Brand for dragging her to court over the contractual dispute. Ice Spice says the company has been “overly dramatic” and claims they are attempting to put “public pressure” on her.
In 2025, the company Thee Bella BrandsuedIce Spice over 25 custom-made wigs, claiming she agreed to purchase them for around $20K but never paid up for the goods. The company said the rapper also trashed them on social media and was seeking more than $400K in lost business opportunities and punitive damages.
Lindsay Lohan's stepmom, Kate Lohan, has been arrested in Texas for allegedly attacking her ex -- Lindsay's dad -- Michael Lohan ... TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Kate's been accused of intentionally and recklessly causing bodily injury to Michael on April 14.
