Latin legend Stevie B just pled guilty to owing $420,000 in unpaid child support -- but he has promised the court ... he's gonna do his damnedest to pay it off.

Stevie -- real name Steven Bernard Hill -- was arrested outside his concert in Massachusetts this weekend for owing the enormous sum to his baby mama.

Stevie was arraigned in court this morning -- and according to court sources, he promised to pay $921.25 a week in child support, and an additional $500 a month toward his arrears.

Stevie B is still in custody -- and must pay a $10,000 lump sum toward the $420,000 balance in order to get out of jail.

Manny Ramirez's arrest for allegedly slapping his wife wasn't his only run-in with cops this month ... 4 days earlier he was pulled over for speeding

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Manny was popped by the Florida Highway Patrol, who pulled him over for speeding in his Porsche. We're told cops didn't write a ticket for speeding ... but did ticket him for failing to provide proof of registration.

Manny has until October 12 to ante up his registration, and if he does he'll only pay a $10 fine.

Not to be outdone by his estranged wife's Hamptons Beach home -- Marc Anthony plunked down some serious cash of his own for a 10,000 square foot Italian Renaissance villa in West Hollywood -- leasing the massive mansion for $23,800 a month.

Marc's new L.A. crash pad has eight bedrooms, 9.5 baths, 18-foot ceilings, two guest houses and a recording studio.

According to a local report, police say Hill was cooperative throughout the arrest and expressed concern he might miss a concert in Providence, RI.

When they walked inside the empty, 20,000 seat arena, the lights had been dimmed and there was a table for 2 on the floor, with candles ... of course.

We're told Justin had the fancy Staples restaurant -- The Lexus Club -- cater the meal. They ate steak and pasta, and when they were done, suddenly the movie "Titanic" appeared on the screen.

Justin got the idea from the movie, "Mr. Deeds," where Adam Sandler surprises Winona Ryder with a date at Madison Square Garden.

Selena was "shocked" when she realized what was up.

As for Justin ... he didn't have to pay a penny, because the honchos at Staples were grateful he filled the arena 3 times in the past.

Christina tells TMZ, she's lookin' for a lawyer, but says, "The most important thing to me is to make sure my health is okay. Ever since the incident I have not eaten out."
