Decenas de manifestantes pro-Palestina descendieron sobre un puente muy concurrido en el norte de California, y en el momento más inoportuno también, ¡justo cuando la gente estaba intentando llegar al trabajo!

Innumerables manifestantes bloquearon el tráfico y detuvieron por completo la actividad en uno de los segmentos del puente de San Francisco, y se aseguraron de decirles que no iban a ir a ninguna parte, ya que varias personas se encadenaron entre sí y a sus carros.

Por supuesto, tenían megáfonos y carteles que pedían un alto al fuego entre Palestina e Israel, y una pausa en la ayuda que Estados Unidos da a Israel específicamente.

Algunos de los manifestantes más teatrales incluso se tumbaron en el suelo y se cubrieron con sábanas blancas para recrear a las personas asesinadas en Medio Oriente. Ciertamente hicieron una declaración, pero es difícil saber qué tan efectiva fue, porque un montón de personas se enojaron mientras intentaban salir y entrar de la zona para llegar al trabajo.

La policía finalmente aterrizó en la escena y trató de despejar el camino, que en última instancia terminó con una tonelada de arrestos (más de 50 o por ahí).

También llevaron grúas para despejar los carros de los manifestantes que estaban completamente cortando los carriles, y que incluso arrojaron sus llaves.

Al final el puente fue despejado, pero tomó mucho tiempo y una gran cantidad de recursos.

10:20 AM PT -- A TikTok spokesperson tells TMZ ... "Content promoting this letter clearly violates our rules on supporting any form of terrorism. We are proactively and aggressively removing this content and investigating how it got onto our platform. The number of videos on TikTok is small and reports of it trending on our platform are inaccurate. This is not unique to TikTok and has appeared across multiple platforms and the media."

Osama Bin Laden might've not been such a bad guy after all -- at least that's what a bunch of TikTokers think ... this after reading a post-9/11 letter he wrote, if you can believe that.

Here's the deal ... correspondence that the infamous terrorist architect of Sept. 11th wrote back in 2002 -- in response to the question of why he and his al-Qaeda followers carried out the deadly attacks -- has been going viral over the past 24 hours or so, but in a strange way.

Essentially, a bunch of people online read his "Letter to America" and apparently see some merit in his arguments over why he and his fellow terrorists decided to kill thousands of American civilians ... and yes, this all has to do with the current Israel-Palestine conflict.

You can go read the letter on your own, but OBL explicitly mentions the U.S.'s role in the Middle East dating back decades ... and claims our country has basically given him and his cohorts no choice but to retaliate to what he characterizes as unjust meddling in the region.

He also notes he's a Palestine sympathizer ... and that seems to be why all these Americans now are posting TikTok responses and suggesting -- "Y'know what, maybe he had a point."

It's a wild trend, and it's gone viral -- so much so, in fact, that one of the only mainstream Western publications that still had the letter up on their site (The Guardian) actually took it down ... and their rationale boils down to it not having their original proper context.

Of course, it's understandable why they'd remove it ... seeing how it justifies committing mass murder on many, many Americans -- something some folks in 2023 seem to cool with!

Like we said, most of the folks reconsidering their view on 9/11 are echoing the pro-Palestine/anti-Israel rhetoric we've seen in protests for weeks now ... and while some are trying to walk the line of condemning Bin Laden's tactics for dealing with his grievances (aka, deadly terrorism) and supporting his root cause, others are blurring the line a bit.

If that sounds concerning ... well, that's 'cause it is. Those who are finding validity in Bin Laden's key points are now saying they were brainwashed by U.S. propaganda into hating the guy and supporting the American effort to root out radical Islamist terrorism in the '00s.

Naturally, others are screaming revisionist history ... and are beside themselves that any American could see Bin Laden as an oppressed victim. Talk about never forget, huh?

3:36 PM PT -- A rep for NYU tells us, in part, "The assertions in this suit do not accurately describe conditions on our campus or the many steps NYU has been taking to fight antisemitism and keep the campus safe.  Antisemitism violates our rules; we take the issues of antisemitism and any other forms of hate extremely seriously, and we are committed to safeguarding our community and providing an environment in which all students can live and learn in peace."

They continue, "NYU was among the first universities in the US to publicly condemn Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel; NYU maintains what is arguably the largest academic presence in Israel of any major US university, our NYU Tel Aviv program, and has flatly rejected all calls to close it." The school says it's also added security patrol and has laid out the fact antisemitism violates school rules, and those who violate will face consequences.

Antisemitism is alive and terrifying at New York University ... at least according to a group of Jewish students who are now suing the school over the rampant bigotry.

NYU is being dragged to court by 3 Jewish students who claim the university is failing to protect them from what they feel is "egregious" antisemitism on campus.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, the students claim the Israel-Hamas war is making campus a toxic and dangerous place for Jewish students ... and they allege the university is refusing to enforce its own anti-discrimination policies.

The Jewish students claim they are often confronted on campus by folks chanting, "Hitler was right," "Gas the Jews" and "Death to k**es."

In their suit, the students accuse NYU administrators and professors of fostering and fomenting a hostile environment toward Jewish people ... claiming peers and faculty repeatedly demonize, threaten and abuse Jewish students.

Things on campus are so bad, the suit claims, Jewish students are being "put at severe risk of extreme emotional and physical injury."

In the docs, the Jewish students say NYU administration is refusing to enforce Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and New York's state civil rights laws ... which are designed to protect people from discrimination based on race, color or national origin.

A German man had his front door pounded on by an angry pro-Palestine protester after the guy flew an Israeli flag from his balcony ... this as a demonstration was going on outside.

Check out this wild video that was taken and posted by a man named Finn Wandhoff, who lives in Berlin and who was watching a massive pro-Palestine rally take place right outside his apartment Saturday evening. It seems he decided to voice his own view symbolically.

Finn says he flew a flag of Israel from outside his window -- a moment he says precipitated this door-pounding by minutes -- and it seems somebody outside saw it and didn't like it.

Here's the sequence of events, per Wandhoff -- he says he was flying the flag and playing Israel's national anthem from his apartment before the huge crowd came by ... which he claims spurred police to come up to his unit and demand he stop, but he didn't.

Once the protesters rolled through, Wandhoff says he again flew the flag ... which he says then led to this man running upstairs and demanding entry. He says he then called cops to report this but alleges the police told him he was being "clearly provocative" here.

Selena Gomez has been branded a "coward" by a Jewish organization ... after embroiling herself in controversy over the Israel-Hamas war.

Speaking to TMZ, Mitchell Bard for the Jewish organization American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) lambasted Selena for falling victim to the intense pressure put on celebs to boycott and demonize Israel.

He tells us instead of speaking on the massacre of 1,400 Israelis and the taking of 240 hostages, including the elderly, disabled, women and children as young as 9 months ... Selena's priority lies with her business, which was threatened after the Rare Beauty's CEO followed pro-Israel accounts.

The org also details its disappointment over her choosing to "pacify bullies" hoping to boycott Rare Beauty by "taking the popular position that Palestinians who have been sacrificed by Hamas are the victims" ... with a pro-Palestine-leaning statement shared to RB's IG.

In stark contrast ... the very same IG post delights Alia Malak, a founding member of the Palestinian organization, Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS), who tells TMZ, "Selena Gomez is one of many thousands of artists and cultural figures worldwide calling for ceasefire, justice and accountability, joining Hollywood figures, leading Black scholars and artists, Jewish writers and artists, prominent authors, visual artists, and many others."

They add, "When UN experts and others are warning of an Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, these artists are on the right side of history. Palestinians call on artists and arts organizations to speak out loudly for a ceasefire, and for an end to oppression, as many had done against apartheid South Africa, to contribute to freedom, justice, and equality."

This comes after Rare Beauty's statement on IG acknowledged the slaughter of 1,400 Israelis ... saying that attacks on civilians are wrong ... but alluding their main concern was "protecting Palestine civilians."

Kmart Australia stepped on a bag of s**t, after touting a bag used to keep Christmas ham fresh in the fridge -- a bag with the inscription, "Merry Ham-Mas."

Pretty obvious ... after the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, the colorful bag which once was just a trapping of XMAS now has another meaning ... one that has enraged some Jewish groups.

The Australian Jewish Association made its feelings clear, posting a pic of the bag with the caption, "K-MART STUFF-UP! Check out the special Christmas bag currently available via K-Mart online. Yes, it's real!!  Although this is potentially funny (the AJA committee has tossed around some non-PC jokes) it's really not a good look.  We suspect some product manager may cause the company some embarrassment.  So we've politely written to Wesfarmers corporate suggesting the product be pulled."

Well, Kmart heard them loud and clear, because an hour later Kmart yanked the item from its site.

Gal Gadot's screening of a new film about the October 7 Hamas terror attack on Israel turned into a battleground of sorts ... as protestors clashed outside the Los Angeles theater where it was shown.

About 150 people attended Wednesday night's screening of the extremely graphic 47-minute film titled, "Bearing Witness to the October 7th Massacre," at the Museum of Tolerance. Media reports indicated Gadot -- who was supposed to host the event -- was MIA.

During the viewing inside, mobs of pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli demonstrators arrived outside, waving flags and shouting at one another.

Witnesses shot cell phone video of the rapidly devolving situation, which soon erupted into violence.

Check out the footage posted to X ... protestors are seen going at it, throwing wild punches and tackling each other to the ground. One woman can be heard screaming, "Free Palestine!"

LAPD officers were dispatched to break up the fights and quell the tension. It's unclear if anyone was injured or arrested, but we've put in a call to the LAPD. So far, no word back.

Earlier this week, news reports surfaced that Gadot was planning to host the L.A. screening -- which was met with backlash.

The gruesome footage in the film was intended to show the truth of what happened that day amid many skeptics.

Por su parte, Van Ginkel y Haydari habrían lanzado una disculpa ante las cámaras el lunes por la noche.

A former National Women's Soccer League player flashed a Nazi salute while driving by a pro-Israel rally this month ... and her ex-team is now condemning her actions while distancing itself from her.

Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel -- who played for Angel City FC in 2022 -- gave the "Sieg Heil" salute from the passenger seat of a car while another pro soccer player, Samim Haydari, drove her through Beverly Hills.

Part of the incident was captured on video ... and in the clip, you can hear demonstrators shouting at the pair of footballers, "Shame on you!"

It's not clear, however, what led up to the interaction.

Angel City FC released a statement shortly after the video was posted on X ... saying, "Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel (stefvangi21) does not play for Angel City Football Club, nor has she been affiliated with the club since November 2022. We condemn her recent actions and statements."

For their part, Van Ginkel and Haydari reportedly released an on-camera apology on Monday night.

According to KTLA, Haydari said, "I know we have approached the situation with hate and made it worse with our actions" ... before adding, "We acted childish." Van Ginkel, the outlet reported, did not speak in the clip.

JVFP-LA dice que este tipo de material solo sirve para "[avivar] las llamas de la guerra y el genocidio", añadiendo que Israel está socavando su propia misión de tratar de salvar a los rehenes que aún están en poder de Hamás a través de sus tácticas brutales. En otras palabras, no están de acuerdo con Gal y compañía.

Haciéndose eco de ese sentimiento, hay otra organización llamada Alianza para la Paz (ALLMEP) en Oriente Medio, que nos dice: "Ha habido una negación y ofuscación muy preocupantes de los terribles crímenes cometidos el 7 de octubre. Es comprensible que se quiera evitar que esa negación se generalice. Sin embargo, esto debe equilibrarse con el hecho de que estamos tratando con personas cada vez más traumatizadas -tanto en la región como en todo el mundo- que han estado expuestas a imágenes, tanto de los ataques en Israel como ahora de los ataques aéreos en Gaza, que no pueden dejar de ver".

Y añaden: "Esto es especialmente preocupante para los niños y los jóvenes. ALLMEP centra sus esfuerzos en reparar las relaciones entre israelíes y palestinos y promover la paz. Que es, en última instancia, como podemos evitar que escenas espeluznantes como estas se vuelvan a repetir".

Otras fuentes de la organización nos dicen que creen que el gobierno israelí está utilizando a Gal, y un ex soldado de las FDI, para impulsar su agenda, con la esperanza de utilizar sus contactos en Hollywood para difundir su mensaje y así ganar una "guerra por poderes" en el tribunal de la opinión pública.

Se nos dice que ALLMEP reconoce las atrocidades cometidas por Hamás el 7 de octubre, pero dice que la verdadera solución para poner fin a la violencia radica en mostrar el derramamiento de sangre en todo su alcance, tanto de Israel como de Gaza. Dicho todo esto, la postura de Israel ha sido clara en todo momento: sus ciudadanos fueron masacrados y hacer pagar a Hamás con un método quirúrgico es prácticamente imposible.

Gal Gadot plans to host a screening this week that'll show off nearly an hour of nonstop carnage undertaken by Hamas in Israel ... but it's being slammed by a Jewish org in the U.S.

The Israeli actress is said to be lending a hand to director Guy Nattiv in airing a roughly 45-minute film, of sorts, called "Bearing Witness" -- originally compiled by the Israeli Defense Forces ... and which depicts graphic footage and images of Hamas' Oct. 7 rampage.

The whole point of this is to showcase what really happened there that day -- this amid a lot of skeptics and others who've alleged Israel is planting false flags to justify their retaliation in Gaza. Reports of beheaded Israeli babies, for instance, have been scrutinized.

Of course, it comes a month after the initial attack ... and since then, Israel seems to have lost some public support as its campaign in Gaza continues. That's looming here, too.

The first screening of "Bearing Witness" is supposed to go down sometime this week at an undisclosed location -- and according to reports, upwards of 120 people have been invited. L.A. is first, and based on the reception ... more screenings might happen down the line.

In terms of reaction to this ... there's been a lot of pushback from pro-Palestine supporters -- but interestingly enough ... she's also catching flak from an activist organization called Jewish Voice for Peace ...which, FWIW, pegs itself as anti-Zionist.

Its L.A. chapter tells TMZ ... they consider this screening to be a "propaganda event," going on to say it simply won't tell the full picture of this war -- including what's happening right now in Palestine ... namely, thousands of innocent civilians being killed in the crossfire.

JVFP-LA says this type of material only serves to "[fan] the flames of war and genocide" ... adding, Israel is undermining its own mission of trying to save hostages still being held by Hamas through their brutal tactics. In other words ... they're not on board with Gal and co.

Echoing that sentiment is another org called Alliance for Middle East Peace, which tells us ... "There has been some very disturbing denial and obfuscation of the terrible crimes committed on October 7th. It is understandable that there would be a wish to prevent that denial from becoming more widespread. However, this needs to be balanced by the fact that we are dealing with increasingly traumatized people -- both in the region and around the world -- who have been exposed to images, both in the attacks in Israel and now the airstrikes in Gaza, that they cannot unsee."

They add, "This is particularly worrying for children and young people. ALLMEP is focusing efforts on repairing relations between Israelis and Palestinians and furthering peace. Which is ultimately how we can prevent shocking scenes such as these from ever occurring again."

Other org sources tell us they believe Gal -- an ex-IDF soldier herself -- is being used by the Israeli government to push an agenda -- hoping to use her Hollywood connections to spread their message in hopes of winning a "proxy war" in the court of public opinion.

A Jewish man was killed at a pro-Palestinian rally in California ... and police are now investigating his death as a possible hate crime.

69-year-old Paul Kessler was attending the Sunday afternoon event in Thousand Oaks, CA, where there was also a competing pro-Israel rally. Kessler was demonstrating in support of Israel.

As you know, Israelis and Palestinians -- under the rule of Hamas -- are embroiled in a bloody war in the Middle East. Hamas attacked the Jewish state in October, sparking the conflict.

Law enforcement tells us ... At the gathering in Ventura County, Kessler got into a heated argument with the Palestinian counter-protesters, leading to a physical fight.

Cops say Kessler was knocked backwards, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.

Video of the incident later surfaced on X. Take a look ... Kessler is sprawled out on the sidewalk after the altercation. He appears to be in agony as two people tend to him.

Kessler was rushed to a local hospital, where he died from his head injuries. The L.A. County Coroner determined his death was a homicide.
