Ne-Yo gets his breaking news from TMZ, because our photog clued him in to the fact one of his music labels signed an A.I. artist ... and he told us why it could be a good thing for humans.
We got Ne-Yo at LAX, and our photog asked him about his Pan-Asian music and entertainment company, Pacific Music Group, signing Timbaland‘s A.I. artist TaTa Taktumi.
Ne-Yo said he didn't sign off on the deal and didn't even know about it ... but he says it's cool in his book, as long as human beings are writing the lyrics and producing the songs.
Diddy’s son Christian "King" Combs is dealing with a scary situation this morning … after his L.A. home was the scene of an attempted burglary.
The harrowing incident unfolded early Thursday morning … when LAPD responded to a Porter Ranch mansion where he and his girlfriend, Raven Tracy, live. Officers were initially dispatched for a “burglary hot prowl” -- essentially when a suspect is trying to break in when a resident is inside -- around 12:45 AM.
Officers took a report of an attempted burglary at the scene after an employee at the house called police. Police said there was an attempt to enter through the rear door, but suspects did not gain entry. Another person monitoring surveillance video also called LAPD.
Dash Crofts, best known for creating the hit song, "Summer Breeze," as a member of Seals & Croft, has died ... TMZ has learned.
A family member tells TMZ ... Crofts died Wednesday from complications of a heart surgery. No plans for a memorial have been set at this time.
His death was first announced by producer Louie Shelton early Thursday morning. Shelton produced Seals & Crofts’ biggest projects, including 1971’s “Year of Sunday,” 1972’s “Summer Breeze,” 1973’s “Diamond Girl,” and 1976’s “Get Closer," per All Music.
Musician Seth Binzer’s family is battling over the late rock star’s estate two years after his death ... TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, obtained by TMZ ... the musician’s ex, Tracy Shelor, asked to be appointed administrator of Seth’s estate, which she estimated to be worth $140K, back in May 2025. Tracy had a 17-year-old son, Gage, with Seth.
Tracy said Seth -- AKA Shifty Shellshock -- died without a will and was survived by his adult son, Halo Binzer, and two younger sons ... Gage, who lived with Tracy ... and another son, Phoenix Lennard, whom Seth had with ex Jasmine Lennard.
In July 2025, Halo filed his own docs to take control of the estate, which he claimed was only worth $90,500. He later disputed claims brought by Tracy about him “somehow squandering” Seth’s royalties and hiding “personal effects under undue influence of his grandmother.”

Rapper Desiigner was arrested Monday in South Carolina for domestic violence ... TMZ has learned.
According to the Horry County Sheriff’s Office, the "Panda" rapper was taken into custody for an incident that allegedly happened earlier this month. Desiigner -- whose legal name is Sidney Royel Selby III -- the Horry County Police Department filed the charges and he has since been released on $1,500 bond, according to online records.
In the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops say the alleged victim told them things went south the moment Selby got home on March 2 ... the mother of his young child said he came in angry, yelling, and tossing car keys ... before it turned physical, she claims. She told police when she tried to leave to retrieve luggage mistakenly left at the airport, Selby ripped the keys from her, tearing her sweatpants.
Simon Cowell says Tom Sandoval would make a ton of money in the music industry ... as a wedding singer -- not as a mainstream frontman.
We caught up with the "America's Got Talent" judge and asked him about Sandoval's performance on the show back in August ... which Cowell lightly ripped apart -- telling Sandoval he liked him and his group ... but their performance of "Blinding Lights" didn't sound good.
Cowell tells us Sandoval just didn't really impress him -- as much as his fans may have liked the performance ... but, he could see Sandoval leading a "party band."
SC points out there's a ton of money in weddings and birthday parties ... and, he thinks Sandoval and his group -- Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras -- would rake in the dough if they jumped into that space.
