Jorginho wants to "set the record straight" about what actually happened with Chappell Roan and that bodyguard.

The soccer star shared a lengthy statement on Instagram Monday ... chalking the blame game up to a "misunderstanding."

He wrote ... "I regret the impact this situation has had on Chappell Roan, Catherine, Ada and our family."

ICYMI ... Jorginho slammed Chappell last month, alleging her security guard was speaking "in an extremely aggressive manner" to the athlete's wife and 11-year-old daughter after the young girl allegedly walked by the singer's table at the hotel where they were staying.

Former Maroon 5 bassist Mickey Madden is officially single ... 8 months after his wife filed for divorce following claims of abuse and a short-lived marriage.

In court docs obtained by TMZ, a Los Angeles judge signed off on the divorce between Madden and his now-former wife Kate Bowman, meaning they are both single once again. The parties reached a final agreement on all the outstanding issues last month.

But, the arrangement is going to be kept confidential ... so no juicy deets here.

We broke the news of their divorce -- Bowman headed to an L.A. court in August 2025 to split from Madden after just 3 months of marriage.

Quincy Jones III plans to serve as the executor of his late father's estate, according to a new court document ... this after his sister Rashida and his uncle Richard Jones turned it down.

According to Friday's filing, Jones named Richard Jones as his first choice of executor ... but Richard decided he didn't want to do it.

His second choice was with either Quincy III or Rashida ... and, ultimately, Quincy III stepped up while Rashida stepped back.
