A suspect fleeing Los Angeles authorities earlier Saturday was pulled from their wrecked Lamborghini ... just moments before the twisted heap burst into flames!

In a harrowing video exclusively obtained by TMZ ... police and good samaritans worked to pull the driver from the destroyed Lamborghini Urus, which flipped and hit a tree before the big crash along a Tarzana street.

Looks like folks got the driver out of there just in the nick of time ... because not long after they were pulled from the wreck, the whip erupted -- with more fire and smoke quickly coming from the vehicle.

The New York Post reported ... members of the Joint Violent Crimes Task Force questioned Kathleen Mangione late Sunday after the family reported Luigi missing last month, prior to the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

It was police in San Francisco -- where Luigi was reported missing -- who tipped off the feds that the suspected shooter and the missing 26-year-old could be one and the same.

A New Jersey sheriff got sick of waiting around to find out what the hell is going on with mystery drones that have appeared to invade the state ... so he decided to fight fire with fire -- or drone, rather.

Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy launched a department drone after one of his officers witnessed 50 unmanned aerial vehicles, "coming off the ocean."

Sheriff Matronardy told NewsNation's Rich McHugh the force put up an "industrial grade" drone to follow one of the devices ... but it quickly slipped through their grasp, disappearing.

President-elect Donald Trump posted a message on his Truth Social platform Friday ... and in true Trump fashion, he didn't mince words -- "Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!!"

As we reported ... some New Jersey politicians are irate with the federal government's response to the spate of recent drone sightings, and Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett also had some harsh words about the feds' response -- or lack thereof.

Check it out ... people are tagging public areas with "Free Luigi" -- like the graffiti in this New York City subway stop, a rallying cry around alleged killer Luigi Mangione, who was charged with Thompson's murder this week.

"Deny, Defend, Depose" has also been painted on the side of buildings and other public areas ... a reference to the words written on the bullets Mangione allegedly used to kill Thompson.

American Airlines passengers had a foul flight Thursday ... when a fowl flew into a jet engine turbine and caused an emergency landing -- and, it was all caught on video.

Here's the deal ... Flight 1722 took off from LaGuardia Airport in New York City Thursday -- when a bird almost immediately flew headlong into the turbine, causing a minor fireball to appear on the side of the plane.

Watch the clip ... the bird hurtles toward the jet and smacks into the engine -- making a huge thumping noise and seemingly causing engine strain as the plane pitches slightly to the side.

Luigi Mangione's getting his own cell at a Pennsylvania correctional facility, and he hasn't been interacting with other inmates recently ... and, we now know what he'll be eating too.

A representative for the PA Department of Corrections tells TMZ ... Mangione will be held in a single cell -- no roommate locked up with him -- at SCI Huntingdon just outside Altoona.

We're told he's not in solitary confinement ... but, he won't be interacting with other inmates at this time -- so, no hanging out in the rec yard for now it seems.

Altoona Police tell TMZ ... they have increased patrols around the local McDonald's where LM was nabbed on Monday. We're told the additional eyes on the restaurant will likely continue at least until Mangione is hauled off to NYC ... something he's currently fighting in court.

Per the police, staff at the McDonald's didn't ask for the patrols ... but it is "common practice" when a high-profile crime occurs.

During Tuesday's podcast, Rogan sat down with movie director Quentin Tarantino and producer Roger Avary ... with the trio at one point turning their conversation to Luigi Mangione -- the suspected killer of Thompson.

Rogan said he doesn't think Mangione is a professional assassin, but rather is someone who may have had a beef with the healthcare business. Rogan also said UnitedHealthcare apparently "is really bad at denying claims.”

The man who attacked a judge by leaping over the bench during a sentencing hearing for another case earlier this year has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for the brazen act.

Deobra Redden attacked Las Vegas District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus on January 3 this year in an incident captured on video from the courtroom ... but it was District Court Judge Susan Johnson who sentenced him Tuesday, saying the attack was an assault on the entire judiciary.

Prosecutors asked Johnson for substantial prison time, while Redden’s attorneys suggested his sentence be served concurrently with his existing time behind bars from the attempted battery case ... the case Judge Holthus was sentencing him for when he attacked her.

Luigi Mangione's new defense attorney spoke to reporters Tuesday afternoon from his offices in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Attorney Tom Dickey said he's been retained to represent Mangione, but did not offer further details about his representation. He stated he believes Mangione should have been granted bail Monday ... and emphasized Mangione did not waive his extradition in an earlier court appearance today.

"I haven't seen any evidence" that Mangione is the shooter, Dickey said. "He's pleaded not guilty, that's all I care about."

Dickey said he came onto the case "sometime prior to the hearing today" -- it's unclear if he was court-appointed or hired. Asked if he could say who hired him, he said "No ... I can, but I won't."

As we know, Luigi Mangione is accused of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson early Wednesday morning last week in Midtown Manhattan.
