It's outside the scope of what we do here at TMZ ... but it's pretty interesting. We got hold of an internal document from Delta telling gate attendants and flight crews what to do if they suspect a passenger is infected with Ebola.

According to the document -- "Advisory: Ebola Virus Disease: Update 8-6-14," which was distributed widely to Delta employees -- ticket and gate agents are supposed to be on the lookout for passengers appearing to be ill. The agent is required to contact STAT-MD -- a "calling station" where doctors at Universities and other facilities can be contacted for opinions. The document states the passenger cannot board if STAT-MD does not sign off.

As for passengers who appear infected on the plane, the Delta document says the crew should "assess for fever" but cautions they should wear gloves and masks when coming in contact with the person.

It goes on ... "Isolate sick passenger away from others, if possible. Designate lavatory for the sick passenger (do not block a separate lavatory for crew)."

And the document states, "Ill passenger to wear mask if coughing or sneezing and provide tissues and a plastic bag for used tissue disposal."

Gunnar Hansen -- who terrorized actress Marilyn Burns as Leatherface in the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" -- says Burns appeared skinny and frail in recent years ... and appeared to be in declining health before her death.

Hansen tells TMZ ... he and Burns remained close after the 1974 horror flick, and says her health issues were obvious to him in the last few years. But he adds, they never discussed any specific ailment.

TMZ broke the story ... the 65-year-old Burns was found dead Tuesday at her home in Houston. An autopsy is being conducted to determine cause of death.

Hansen -- who continues to act in slasher/horror flicks -- says he spoke to Burns once a month and would visit her at home -- calling her a wonderful woman who was humorous and generous.

He says he and other actors from the original film -- including Allen Danziger and Ed Neal -- are making arrangements to attend Burns' funeral.

50 Cent's bodyguard allegedly attacked a man and his son in a shopping mall -- a man who was trying to film the rapper -- and now cops are conducting a criminal investigation.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... 50 and his son were at the Burbank Town Center Sunday when Lazzeri Frazier and his son saw 50 and thought it would be cool to shoot some cell phone video.

We're told 50's bodyguard came from behind Frazier and snatched the phone out of his hands. Frazier verbally confronted the bodyguard and the bodyguard then allegedly hauled off and shoved Frazier. The 2 began fighting and Frazier's 16-year-old son stepped in to break up the fight. The son claims the bodyguard punched him in the face.

The bodyguard fled the scene by the time cops arrived. 50 refused to speak to police, but witnesses corroborated Frazier's story.

Cops tell us the case will be sent over to prosecutors. 50 is not a suspect.

A Danity Kane recording sesh erupted in violence Monday ... and they actually needed a first aid kit.

We're told bandmates Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day got physical during a disagreement at an L.A. studio on Monday, resulting in Dawn slugging Aubrey in the head with a closed fist.

DK's third member, Shannon Bex, was also there and tried unsuccessfully to break up the fight.

This isn't the first time DK's had issues ... the original five members disbanded in 2009, with four of them reuniting last year. Aundrea Fimbres quickly dropped out, leaving the remaining three.

Robert Alcaraz-Garnica is in custody on suspicion of sexual battery and mayhem, after he allegedly groped a woman and began fighting with her boyfriend. Cops say Alcaraz-Garnica bit the tip of the boyfriend's index finger off during the fight.

"The Wire" star Anwan Glover is acting like getting stabbed is no big deal ... because everyone knows Washington D.C. is not all roses and rose gardens.

We got Anwan in Maryland Monday ... and he made light of the attack at Cafe Asia Sunday AM. Glover -- who played Slim Charles on the show -- was blindsided when 2 men started beating him and then he was stabbed.

CNN is being sued by 2 EMTs who claim one of the network's reporters bit them in a drunken rage.

Arwa Damon -- the Beirut-based senior international correspondent for CNN -- was in the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad back in July. According to the lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- she became "seriously intoxicated" and became unruly and violent.

Authorities arrived and according to the suit ... EMTs Tracy Lamar and Charles Simons were trying to help Damon when the correspondent bit both on their left arms. Simons also claims his knees and elbows were injured. Lamar says she was also bruised.

The suit claims while the EMTs were providing assistance ... Damon played the famous card, saying she was a "major reporter for CNN."

The suit claims CNN knew Damon had a history of becoming drunk and abusive, and had a penchant for violence, even when sober.

Lamar and Simons are each suing CNN and Damon for $1 million.

We contacted CNN ... so far now word back.

10:15 AM PT -- Upon further review of the video ... the 3rd baseman is Laura Govan, Gilbert Arenas' fiancee. Apparently Ray J forgot about Gilbert's love for guns.

Ray J plays to win ... just ask the poor woman who got knocked on her rear end during a charity softball game this weekend.

It all went down at NBA star JaVale McGee's 1st Annual JugLife Celebrity Softball game on the UCLA campus. Ray J was trying to stretch a double into a triple and instead of sliding ... he ran right through the girl playing third base. You gotta watch to see if she hangs on for the put out.

At least it was for a good cause -- a program to get clean drinking water in Uganda. Although, we doubt Ray's play had any impact on how much water gets there.

Glover -- who played Slim Charles -- was in Cafe Asia when he claims 2 men started beating him. He says he heard someone scream, "He has a knife," and then felt a sharp pain.

Glover -- who also appeared in "Twelve Years a Slave" -- was taken to a local hospital with lacerations and bruises.

It's unclear why the fight started ... or the relationship between the men who beat and stabbed him.

We're told Anwar is still in the hospital and currently undergoing some tests.

Michael Lohan has hired Casey Anthony's lawyer to stop the bleeding ... the vaginal bleeding of his pregnant baby mama who Michael claims her jailers are grossly mistreating her.

Attorney Jose Baez is now gunning for a court order forcing the jail to properly treat Kate Major's vaginal bleeding. Lohan claims Kate started bleeding this week -- on 2 separate occasions -- but both times she was taken to an infirmary and sent back to her cell.

Michael says there were no specialists to treat Kate and all they did was an ultrasound which showed a heartbeat ... but Michael says, "You know damn well if someone has vaginal bleeding while pregnant that's indicative of a miscarriage."

Michael also claims Kate -- who is behind bars over a DUI -- was forced to carry her property back to her room while she was still bleeding.

Baez will almost certainly attempt to get an order forcing the prison to have Kate examined and treated by a specialist.

You gotta send one up for Paul George -- the NBA superstar suffered a gruesome broken leg during a Team USA scrimmage Friday night in Las Vegas -- and this video of the injury is NOT for the weak of heart.

An animated Montel Williams pounded his chest, and launched into an epic rant ... calling out President Barack Obama for failing to respond to his petition to fix the VA hospital crisis.

Montel -- a 22-year military vet and staunch supporter of our troops -- was pointing fingers straight at the White House ... getting visibly upset about Obama's lack of action to help vets.

There's new hope for Harrison Ford -- 6 weeks after his infamous Millennium Falcon disaster ... he's recovered enough that he no longer looks lke a damaged droid.

Han Solo ventured out to a Starbucks not so far away (Santa Monica) today ... with a slight limp, but free from his futuristic-looking robo foot thing.

Of course, Ford broke his ankle while filming scenes aboard the Falcon for "Star Wars Episode VII." Shooting had to be rescheduled, but now Harrison says he'll be back on set "pretty soon."

A massive heart attack killed actor James Garner.

According to the death certificate -- obtained by TMZ -- Garner died from acute myocardial infarction.

"The Rockford Files" star died July 19 at his Los Angeles home.

The death certificate says Garner -- who also starred in "The Notebook" -- suffered from coronary artery disease.

Garner was one of the first stars to become mega-successful on both TV and in the movies. Among his many achievements ... "Maverick" -- a massive TV hit from 1957 - 1962. He co-starred with Mel Gibson in the big screen version in '94.

A Keith Urban concert devolved into a drunken mess Saturday night ... with dozens of people being treated by medical personnel for alcohol issues ... and a number of others being arrested.

Urban was playing at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, about 30 miles south of Boston. According to local police and fire officials, 46 people were treated and 22 taken to local hospitals ... mostly due to drinking. Things were so bad, officials had to activate "a phase one EMS plan" ... which included ambulances from five surrounding communities.

People were so drunk at the show ... 50 people were taken into protective custody for their own good and many others arrested ... all for "alcohol-related issues."

The zombies in the annual march outside of Comic Con say the guy who ran someone over is lying to police ... because his claim about undead walkers attacking before the accident is total crap!

According to eyewitness -- who look like "Walking Dead" extras -- the driver was trying to get through the mob of people while honking his horn and yelling he had somewhere to be.

We're told two spectators sat on the driver's hood in protest -- but they weren't zombies -- and the car lurched forward -- presumably to scare them off.

The other guy on the hood became angry and started punching the driver's windshield -- so the car drove off ... accidentally hitting the victim and rolling over her arm in the process.

As we previously reported ... police say no arrests have been made, but they're investigating.
