Vince Neil is the first contestant to sign on for the new 'Celebrity Apprentice' with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the boss' chair ... TMZ has learned.

Monty Brinson, the ex husband of Kim Richards, has died from lung cancer .... TMZ has confirmed.

Kim and Monte were married for only 3 years -- from 1985 - 1988 -- but they remained close after their split and even lived together in past few years when he was battling cancer.

Kim was very open ... Monty's struggle sometimes pushed her over the edge in her own battle with addiction -- something well-chronicled on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Rick Hilton says, "We have lost Monty Brinson after a brave battle of cancer. His heart was as big as the moon and he was loved by all he met. He will be sorely missed. I love YOU always."

Monty was 58. RIP.

'Love & Hip Hop NY' star Mendeecees Harris won't be catching up on the show's new season -- or ANY seasons -- while he's behind bars, but at least he'll have spinach.

Harris checked into FCI Allenwood on Tuesday, and while the Pennsylvania low security prison does allow inmates to watch TV ... he's screwed out of watching 'LHHNY' because VH1 isn't offered.

His culinary options are slightly better. Check out a sample menu:

Breakfast: Bananas, oatmeal, bread with margarine, milk, coffee

Lunch: Baked chicken, sweet potato, collard greens, bread with margarine, fruit, beverages

Dinner: Spaghetti with meat sauce, spinach, bread with margarine

Interesting ... all margarine, no butter. Mendeecees is doing 8 years for drug trafficking, but at least he'll be heart healthy.

Todd Chrisley's not even done recording his first country album yet, but he's already jumping on a stage to perform in Nashville.

The "Chrisley Knows Best" patriarch was in the studio Thursday with country singer Sara Evans, producer Nash Overstreet and songwriter Shane Stevens.

We're told Chrisley and Evans recorded a duet -- no word on the title, but they're planning to test Todd's pipes with an upcoming live performance. He'll have old pro Sara onstage with him, but it could be his make or break moment.

This is the defendant, "Little Women: LA" star Christy McGinity ... she claims she's being hauled into small claims court by a woman who has big dreams but no case, because she had every right to make that right ... turn.

It's the case of Small Woman, Big Problem.

Short story ... a driver claims Christy was stopped at a red light in the San Fernando Valley just before Xmas when she jumped the gun and tried to make a right, smashing into a Mercedes that had the right of way. The driver of the Benz says Christy packed a mean punch, almost ripping her bumper off and causing damage to the tune of $3,575.

Christy claims the accident was the other chick's fault. She was just all "I gotta finish my Christmas shopping" and zoomed into the mall with a wonky left turn.

No one was hurt ... not even a little.

Kristin Cavallari was taken to a hospital outside Chicago after a car wreck.

Sources close to the reality star say she was in a vehicle that was struck by another driver Thursday afternoon. A witness tells us Cavallari's husband, Jay Cutler, showed up at the hospital shortly after she got there.

We're told Kristin's injuries aren't serious but she's sore. Her 3 kids weren't with her during the accident -- our source says cops are at the hospital to take a report.

'Bachelor' contestant Lauren Bushnell still has a ways to go to the final rose, but she's a total winner in a bikini.

There are still 17 ladies left in the 'Bachelor' house this season -- and Lauren, a flight attendant, is definitely a frontrunner ... with fans, anyway. There are even rumors she won the whole thing.

"Little Women: L.A." star Christy McGinity Gibel is out for justice after the brutal attack she suffered in a bar brawl ... TMZ has learned

Law enforcement sources tell us Christy filed a report with the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. on Tuesday evening. We're told she gave cops details of last week's fight, and accused cast member Terra Jole of hitting her with a drinking glass while shooting an episode.

The report was taken as "assault with a deadly weapon."

TMZ broke the story -- Christy had to be hospitalized after suffering a concussion. We're told she got out on Tuesday morning, and decided she wanted to press charges.

The report will now be sent to the Sheriff in Ventura County -- where the fight went down -- and investigators will decide if anyone should be arrested.

Terra's rep had no comment.

"Hardcore Pawn" patriarch Les Gold is joining the fight to get clean water to Flint, Michigan by running a bottled water drive right out of his famous store.

Les' popular TV show shoots at his shop in Detroit, so the Flint crisis hits close to home. He tells TMZ ... his family will match every bottle of water the public drops off at their store -- which will then be shipped off to Flint.

If you've missed it ... the city's in big trouble after drawing its water supply from the highly corrosive Flint River. The filthy water combined with old lead pipes have cut off residents from fresh water, and the feds are investigating to figure out who screwed the pooch.

The man who freaked out a "Dance Moms" cast member just got sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Phoenix Sundown was sentenced by a San Diego judge on Tuesday for the September incident. As TMZ reported ... Sundown sent several packages -- which included an Elvis blanket, a coffee maker, a scrapbook and handwritten letters -- to an underage girl on the show.

None of the packages included explosives, but when the post office intercepted them ... the bomb squad was called in to destroy them, just in case.

'Love & Hip Hop NY' star Mendeecees Harris is now going by "Inmate Harris" after checking himself into federal prison in Pennsylvania.

Harris got 8 years for drug trafficking charges. He'll do his time in a minimum security prison where inmates can watch TV and the meal program is top notch ... something different everyday for 8 weeks.

He's already served 15 months for his crime, so he actually has less than 7 years left to serve.

As we showed you, Harris made the most of his last few days of freedom.

Todd Chrisley of USA's "Chrisley Knows Best" is ready to become a Nashville heavyweight as a singer/songwriter ... TMZ has learned.

Jody Williams and Leslie Roberts, the head honchos of music publisher BMI, inked the deal with Todd, and it's a sweet one.

Right out of the box, he'll be doing a collabo with songwriter Shane Stevens -- who's written songs for Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum -- and they'll be joined by award-winning country star Sara Evans.

We’re told the power trio is planning to meet in Nashville this week to get started on their first song.
