American actor and comedian John Gemberling was 33 years old when he first started playing Matt Bevers AKA "Bevers" -- the messy but lovable gamer -- on Comedy Central's sitcom "Broad City" back in 2014.

Joining Gemberling in The Big Apple included Abbi Jacobson as the gym janitor striving to be a trainer, Abbi, Ilana Glazer as Abbi's chill and wacky bestie who loves to smoke, Llana, and Hannibal Buress as the dentist and Ilana's hookup buddy, Lincoln.

John's other notable sitcoms include playing Gil on NBC's "Marry Me" and John on Fox's "Making History."

Wendy Williams is enjoying every second away from the assisted living facility that she says feels like prison ... hitting the ground running in Miami with a trip to the mall.

TMZ has obtained a photo of Wendy shortly after she touched down in the Magic City ... scootering around the Aventura Mall in Miami just after 7 PM local time.

Check out the pic ... you can't see Wendy's face, but it's clear she's sitting in the scooter looking at makeup and jewelry in Macy's.

Some of Hollywood's biggest stars took a trip across the pond for this year's BAFTA Awards.

Charles Finch & Chanel hosted the annual pre-BAFTA dinner at 5 Hertford Street Club in London on Saturday night. It was a who's who of celebs at the shindig -- Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Glen Powell, Adrien Brody, Lupita Nyong'o, Sebastian Stan were on hand.

The dinner, which celebrates the nominees, also hosted Orlando Bloom, Regé-Jean Page, Jerry Bruckheimer, Scout Willis, Jared Leto, Tom Ford, Jeff Goldblum, Lily James, Jeremy Strong, and James Corden.

The former talk show host was filmed Saturday afternoon shortly after landing at Miami International Airport ... fuzzy black boots and a matching black coat on while maneuvering through the travel hub.

The most eye-catching part of the clip has to be Wendy's face ... 'cause she's clearly overjoyed to be out and about -- a beaming on her journey to a black SUV.

'SNL 50' put on a concert for the ages Friday night in NYC ... as several superstar musicians and former cast joined forces to celebrate 'Saturday Night Live's half-century milestone!

Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon and Bill Murray were some of the highlights in the packed" SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert" show ... which also featured performances by Bonnie Raitt and Chris Martin, Arcade Fire, David Byrne, St. Vincent and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Post Malone.

Miley worked the stage — and the audience — as the three-time Grammy winner performing at Radio City Music Hall early into the multi-hour celebratory event. MC belted Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" with Brittany Howard, as well as her Grammy-winning hit, "Flowers."

John Goodman is part of the fabric of "Saturday Night Live" but he's going to be MIA from the big 50th anniversary special ... and now we know why.

Sources close to John tell TMZ ... he was invited to participate in 'SNL 50' this weekend but he is missing the reunion because of prior work commitments.

The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star is being sued by a woman named Julia Umana ... who claims she worked as a live-in nanny and housekeeper for Teddi. Umana claims Teddy treated her more poorly than any other celebrity boss.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Umana claims Teddi made her employment a living hell by abusing power, shorting paychecks, creating a hostile work environment and engaging in racial discrimination and harassment.

Leslie Charleson -- the soap opera legend who appeared in more than 2,000 episodes of "General Hospital" -- died from blunt head trauma ... though, it appears the injury didn't happen recently.

According to documents, obtained by TMZ ... Charleson died from "sequelae of blunt head trauma" -- basically the long-term effects of a head injury she suffered.

It's unclear when she sustained the injury ... though we do know several falls in recent years prevented her from appearing on "General Hospital."

Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma are changing the lives of Holocaust survivors ... 'cause the money from "F*** Ye" T-shirts they're selling is going to help survivors get mental health treatment.
