POORSTACY had been open about feeling suicidal, telling fans he considered ending his own life because he'd "lost everything" due to a woman ... long before he killed himself in a Florida hotel room in front of his baby mama and toddler.

In a video obtained by TMZ ... the star told fans over stream about a year ago he had to check into a "mental hospital" because he was ready to kill himself over the unidentified lady.

He repeatedly says he's "lost everything" in the clip -- though he adds his new music's all coming from his soul ... turning his pain into art.

More drama in the Fat Joe civil case ... his accuser's attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, is getting called out for blaming a legal mistake on artificial intelligence software.

Here's the deal ... Fat Joe's attorneys filed legal docs claiming Tyrone cited cases that didn't exist in his opening brief, and then Tyrone blamed the mistakes on a LexisNexis AI feature.

Well, seems Tyrone's excuse made its way back to LexisNexis, and now the company is speaking out and pushing back against Tyrone.

POORSTACY's baby mama has been arrested ... with cops alleging drug use in the presence of the couple's young child in the days before the rapper's death ... and we're learning she and the kid were in the room when the musician killed himself.

Nicole Grikstas was arrested Saturday hours after POORSTACY -- real name Carlito Milfort -- took his own life ... with cops booking her on a child neglect without causing great bodily harm charge.

According to a Boca Raton Police affidavit -- which cites an interview conducted with Nicole at the police station hours after the rapper was found dead in a hotel room -- cops say Nicole broke down the events leading up to his death by handgun.

The mystery of POORSTACY's death is deepening ... police released 911 audio that leaves us with more questions than answers about what exactly happened to the musician.

TMZ exclusively obtained the audio clip from the Boca Raton PD, which notes the "redacted file" had "all investigative information removed" ... leaving people to continue to wonder how he died.

As we reported ... sources with direct knowledge tell us POORSTACY died by suicide after shooting himself ... but his family flat-out disputes that and believes foul play was involved.

Rapper POORSTACY's death in Florida was a suicide ... TMZ has learned, but some of his family members feel it was something more nefarious.

Multiple sources with knowledge of the investigation tell us POORSTACY shot himself Saturday morning in a Boca Raton hotel room, but initially survived. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died Monday, after being taken off life support.

Police have yet to officially release the cause of death, but we're told the rapper's family isn't buying it was suicide. One source connected to his family tells TMZ ... the family is disputing it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound ... and they suspect foul play.

LiAngelo Ball's third child was born recently ... something his ex, Rashida Nicole, said he didn't get to witness at her request.

Nicole shared the news via Instagram on Tuesday ... explaining in a "transparency post" that she spent the final five months of her pregnancy alone before welcoming Lilo Legacy to the world.
