Cops say 'Real Housewives of Potomac' star Dr. Wendy Osefo is lying about being the victim of a home burglary ... but a couple months after she made her report, she went on a podcast -- and doubled-down on her claims.

Wendy appeared on the "Gabbing With Gib" podcast back in September 2024 and she was asked about the alleged home burglary, which we first reported about in April 2024 ... and the clip is resurfacing now that she's been charged with fraud.

In the interview, Wendy explains why she thinks she was "targeted" by burglars.

Darius McCrary was arrested near the U.S.-Mexico border in California and he's currently sitting in a San Diego jail ... and it looks like he got picked up on an out-of-state felony charge.

The "Family Matters" alum was busted Sunday by the United States Border Patrol ... according to online records.

Darius' case says this is a "fugitive arrest" and the section of the California Penal Code listed on online records applies to individuals in California who are wanted by another state for a serious crime.

'The Boys' Actor Malcolm Barrett Sexual Assault Charges Rejected

Malcolm Barrett will not face charges stemming from a sexual assault allegation made late last year ... TMZ has learned.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office reviewed Barrett's case and determined criminal charges of rape of a person incapable of giving consent will not be filed against him. We're told the case is now officially closed.

TMZ broke the story in December ... a woman contacted the L.A. County Sheriff's Department claiming that after a night of drinking with Barrett, she woke up in bed to find him touching her and alleged he then had sex with her against her will.

California Man Arrested For Allegedly Sending A Threat To Benny Johnson

At a Friday press conference in Tampa, Florida, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the arrest of a California man who allegedly threatened conservative commentator Benny Johnson's life.

George Isbell Jr. was reportedly arrested in San Diego Tuesday this week and was charged with mailing a threatening communication, according to Fox News.

Isbell, 69, allegedly mailed a letter to Johnson sometime around September 18. Bondi said ... "The author of this letter made it very clear that he hated Benny because of his views, and he wanted Benny dead."

Isbell allegedly made other violent statements and referenced the death of Charlie Kirk, who was killed just a few days before letter was sent, authorities said.

Johnson contacted the Tampa Police Department after receiving the letter, and the FBI helped out with the subsequent investigation.

U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida Gregory Kehoe said fingerprints found on the letter implicated Isbell, Fox News reports. Isbell could face up to five years in prison if he's convicted.

Johnson appeared alongside Bondi at Friday's conference and said he only wanted "peace" in the U.S.

Michael Lohan is a free man again ... 'cause TMZ has learned Lindsay's dad was released from jail early after serving time for violating his probation -- tied to his February arrest for allegedly beating up his ex, Kate Lohan.

A rep for the Palm Beach County Detention Center in Florida tells TMZ ... Michael was released around 1 AM on Sunday, October 5. We're told he scored early release -- 24 days off -- thanks to "gain time" earned from working inside the jail as a trustee inmate.

Lohan checked in around April and was expected to serve roughly nine months. His probation violation stemmed from the Texas arrest, where he was hit with a felony continuous violence against the family charge. That case, we're told, is still pending.

Law enforcement officials in Maryland are sharing the latest on the felony fraud case involving "The Real Housewives of Potomac" stars Dr. Wendy and Eddie Osefo.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office addressed the news only hours after the Osefos were busted on 16 charges related to a burglary they reported last year at their home.

As we reported ... cops say the Osefos claimed several designer bags and jewelry had been stolen, but an investigation found Wendy purchased and returned the items before the alleged burglary.

Diesel Brothers David Sparks Released From Custody

David "Heavy D" Sparks -- one of the two stars of "The Diesel Brothers" -- has been released from federal custody after being arrested following a bench warrant ... TMZ has learned.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a judge ordered Sparks released from the custody of the U.S. Marshals due to an agreement made by both parties that certain information will be given to 'Utah Physicians for a Wealthy Environment' within 10 days of today's hearing.

New York Attorney General Letitia James Indicted For Bank Fraud

New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Virginia.

James has been charged with two felony counts -- bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution, according to CNN.

The allegations against James began circulating in April, when Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte referred her to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi for prosecution.

Bondi later appointed a "special attorney" to investigate the allegations against James.

James led a successful civil fraud case against President Donald Trump before he started his second presidential term.

The case against James stalled in September when federal prosecutors concluded they didn't have enough evidence to land a conviction if they went to trial, reports NBC News.

Trump subsequently appointed Lindsey Halligan, who joined his legal team in 2022, to serve as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, even though her background is primarily in insurance law.

Halligan is overseeing the case against former FBI Director James Comey. Many observers view the cases as examples of political retribution on the part of Trump
