Texas Christian University's administration found itself in hot water on Tuesday after de-transitioner Chloe Cole claimed the school had canceled her speaking appearance in a post shared on her X account.

Here's what went down ... Cole, who's made a name for herself in the right-wing world by speaking publicly about her experience of transitioning to a male before reverting back to her biologically born sex, alleged TCU had shut down her appearance, which was organized with Turning Point USA.

Cole later claimed there were plenty of rooms available for the event at TCU, and alleged the school's administration said the matter wasn't "open for discussion."

Cole's allegations spread across right-wing social media channels, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he'd be looking into the matter on X.

However, TCU's administration disputed Cole's claims, and noted they'd held an event with Turning Point USA to honor Charlie Kirk's life back in September, according to Fox News.

The administration also claimed Turning Point USA's chapter at TCU asked the university to host another event on October 7, although the space they wanted was apparently already taken up. The administration said it notified the group it wouldn't be able to host the event and offered to find another space for the function.

Jeffrey Toobin isn’t mincing words about the government shutdown ... calling this one a whole different beast compared to ones in the past.

TMZ caught the CNN analyst at LAX Tuesday, and he says this shutdown’s looking locked in -- no easy exit, no quick fix. Translation: don’t hold your breath for a speedy resolution.

Toobin says the real pain’s coming down the line ... the public might not feel it right away, but give it a couple weeks, and things could get ugly ... government employees forced to work without pay with their bills piling up, critical federal services slowed, even jeopardized.

It looks like Vice President J.D. Vance isn't too worried about a little online controversy ... because he just brushed off concerns about a bogus video President Donald Trump posted on social media earlier this week.

Here's the deal ... 47 posted an A.I.-altered video of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer based off a short press conference the two gave after a meeting with Trump at the White House this week ... in the fake version of the video, the pair are giving a speech about suppostedly giving free healthcare to undocumented immigrants to drum up support for Democrats.

And just for a little extra oomph, Jeffries has a mustache and a sombrero in the fake video, which was set to mariachi music. And the fake Schumer says the two of them are "woke pieces of sh*t."

A resurfaced video showing Dr. Harleen Grewal -- who's branded herself as the "MAGA Dentist" -- making controversial remarks during her appearance at the Republican Liberty Gala in 2021 has gone viral on social media, the Los Angeles Times reports. Although the video was taken down, it's since been reposted and reshared dozens of times.

She joked about reducing the flow of laughing gas on patients who appeared to disapprove of her political beliefs, and cracked wise about certain patients' reactions when they saw photos of Republican figures, including of President Donald Trump, in her office.

The resurfacing of the video resulted in more than 100 one-star reviews on the Yelp page of Skyline Smiles in Santa Clarita, California ... and the Instagram accounts for both MAGA Dentist and Skyline Smiles have since been disabled.

Dr. Grewal appeared to address the negative reaction to her comments in an op-ed for the Santa Clarita Valley Signal, where she claimed she was just joking when she made her comments at the gala.

The dentist also alleged an investigator from the California Dental Board had been sent to her office after an apparently fake claim about her being willing to "torture" patients with differing political beliefs was shared with the Board.

Charlie Kirk's accused murderer, Tyler Robinson, has been hit with serious charges for allegedly murdering the right-wing commentator ... and if he's found guilty, there's likely going to be harsh consequences involved.

Kirk made a name for himself for his political views over the course of his life, and his opinions on the death penalty have resurfaced in the weeks since his killing.

Kirk was recorded discussing capital punishment in a video shared on Turning Point USA's YouTube account earlier this year ... and he said he believed in the death penalty "under most" conditions for individuals convicted of violent crimes.

The right-wing media figure received a lot of attention for a 2024 episode of his "Thoughtcrime" discussion show, when he argued for executions to be televised publicly, according to Newsweek.

Kirk argued children should be allowed to watch executions, and described the potential experience of viewing one as an "initiation."

The conservative commentator added the events should be "taken in a holy way," though acknowledged watching an execution could be "heavy."
