Cher Fans critican a Jennifer Hudson... ¡¡¡Creen que intentó opacarla!!!

¿La opacó?
Fox

2024 iHeart Music Awards Beyoncé And Taylor Swift Steal Show ... Give Respective Speeches

IT STARTS WITH A DREAM
Fox

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were the feature attractions at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards Monday night -- and two superstars walked away with more than a few statues.

But, unlike Taylor, Bey showed up at the star-studded event at L.A.'s Dolby Theater, flashing her new persona as a leather-clad cowgirl after last Friday's release of her very popular country music album, "Cowboy Carter." Taylor arrived later via video message.

After posing for some pics on the red carpet, Bey and the other stars went inside to enjoy the show, which was hosted by Ludacris. Among the awards nominees were Miley Cyrus, Drake, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Rodrigo, Shakira, SZA and Usher.

JoJo Siwa Trots Out the 'Bad Girl' Look ... At iHeartRadio Awards

JoJo Siwa's bad girl persona is clearly here to stay ... 'cause she brought her edgy new look to the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The "Dance Moms" alum was practically unrecognizable Monday at their ceremony in L.A., hitting the red carpet in an all-black mesh bodysuit -- which she paired with dramatic face paint and a theatrical faux hawk.

This attention-grabbing red carpet appearance comes weeks after the former child star announced she was transitioning into her adult era with the release of her new song -- which has been getting met with some mockery here and there.

Boston Marathon Famous Dog, Spencer ... Gets Statue On Route!!!

The famous Boston Marathon dog, Spencer -- who became well known for cheering on runners for years before his death in 2023 -- will now be remembered forever at the iconic race ... officials just erected a statue in his honor.

The bronze sculpture was unveiled over the weekend -- less than two weeks before the next iteration of the famous marathon will take place -- and you can see it features the golden retriever posing with two "Boston Strong" flags in its mouth.

Spencer's owner, Rich Powers, was at the unveiling ceremony ... and he said it was a very "emotional day" for him.

"THANK YOU to all that helped to make this happy," Powers said. "SPENCER is back on the marathon route."

The statue will be positioned at the intersection of Frankland and West Union in Ashland, Massachusetts -- where runners will pass by frequently on the Boston Marathon route.

Spencer -- who attended the race for nine years and was named the official dog of the marathon by the Boston Athletic Association -- sadly died at 13 in Sept. 2023 after being diagnosed with inoperable cancer.

Will & Jada's Charity Closing Down After Loss of Donors ... Oscars Slap to Blame???

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are shutting down their charitable foundation due, at least partly, to fallout from Will's infamous Oscars slap.

The A-list spouses are closing the Will And Jada Smith Family Foundation amid a significant drop off in donations, according to Variety ... which says the foundation's tax filings show major donors -- like CAA and American Airlines -- bailed after Will slapped Chris Rock during the 2022 Academy Awards.

Apparently, the foundation went from bringing in over $2 million in 2021 to less than $400K in 2022.

Anne Hathaway I Couldn't Get a Job Post-Oscars ... Nolan Threw Me Lifeline

Anne Hathaway says people in the public really didn't like her after she won her Oscar -- so much so, studios steered clear ... that is, until Christopher Nolan came knocking (again).

The actress opened up about to Vanity Fair about all the hate she was receiving in the early 2010s -- which reached its peak in 2013 when she took home a statuette for her role in "Les Misérables" ... when she gave a heartfelt (but to some, cringe-worthy) acceptance speech.

This phenomenon -- known at the time as "Hathahate" -- had actually been building up for a few years, going back to 2011 when she hosted the Oscars with James Franco. Even then, people were saying they found her a little too sincere, awkward and "annoying."

Joe Biden Trolls Trump Over Golf Awards ... 'Quite The Accomplishment'

Joe Biden took time out of his Sunday night to throw a jab at Donald Trump ... trolling the former president for receiving golf awards at his own course.

No. 45 got the honors at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida ... earning the titles of Club Champion and Senior Club Champion -- and afterward, he gloated about it on Truth Social.

In his post, Trump said he got the trophies over a talented field ... writing, "The qualifying and match play was amazing."

Kurupt Dre is Rap's 🐐 Producer But... Rakim Is Best MC Ever!!!

ONE OF THE GREATS
TMZ.com

Dr. Dre recently stamped Eminem as the greatest MC to ever touch a microphone -- but Kurupt is saying the root of the greatest begins with the 18th letter - Rakim Allah!!!

TMZ Hip Hop got a few seconds to chop it up with Tha Dogg Pound chief outside Dre's WOF ceremony.

Kurupt and Dre have been tight since their chart-topping Death Row days, and he was outside showing support as Daz Dillinger stayed AWOL.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Dre recently told James Corden he thinks Em is the best rapper ever ... he watched him blossom into the hip hop megastar under his watch, and says he's earned the honor.

Kurupt's a diehard hip hop aficionado himself, and quickly picked Dre as rap's greatest producer, while also giving Em his props as one of the greats -- but firmly tells us Rakim is on the top of any list worth arguing over!!!

Em likely wouldn't argue either ... he calls Rakim one of the G.O.A.T.s as well, and credits the "Paid in Full" creator with being the first MC he heard using complex rhyme patterns ... ultimately pushing Slim Shady to take things to another level.

Ranking rappers is tricky biz -- and also part of the game. Can't forget about the pioneers though!!!

Dr. Dre H'wood Walk of Fame Certified ... Snoop & Em Pay Tribute!!!

Dr. Dre was enshrined on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week -- something some of his best buds in the music biz made sure to attend ... including Snoop Dogg and Eminem.

The legendary producer -- who's had a storied career in and out of hip hop, having touched so many facets of the genre and the music industry at large -- got his very own star cemented into the ground Tuesday in an awesome ceremony that was packed with celebs.

In addition to SD and Slim Shady, lots of other titans in rap showed up to pay their respects for the Doc -- including Big Boy, Jimmy Iovine, 50 Cent, Kurupt and lots of others too.

It looks like a handful of them even shared some kind words for Dre ... and rightly so -- the guy has helped launch the careers of so many veterans in the game, so a lot of people owe much of their fame and fortunes to him. Dude's been finding talent for literally decades.

Just a refresher on some of the albums Dre has produced throughout his career -- in case you weren't already aware of what he's done. DD's worked on classics like "The Chronic," "2001," "The Slim Shady LP," "California Love," "Murder Was the Case," "Doggystyle," and countless others.

Dre is a highly decorated artist too -- he's been nominated for Grammys dozens of times over the years ... and has won 7 times, not to mention a Lifetime Achievement Award with the N.W.A.

PROUD OF POPS
TMZ.com

We talked to Dre's son Curtis Young after the WOF ceremony, and he explained why he thought his dad was more than worthy to be recognized -- and he makes good points.

All in all, he's considered one of the best music producers of all time ... so it was probably about time he got his star, and his flowers. He received both on Tuesday ... it's Dre day.

Congrats!

ELON MUSK & RUPERT MURDOCH RBG AWARDS YANKED, CEREMONY CANCELED After Streisand Criticism

Looks like Barbra Streisand's complaints are ringing loud and clear -- Elon Musk and Rupert Murdoch will not be adding the RBG Award to their trophy shelves after all.

In fact, the uproar over the pair snagging the prestigious leadership award named for late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was so intense, the Dwight D. Opperman Foundation decided to pull the plug on the entire ceremony.

ICYMI ... Barbra, herself a former RBG Award recipient, didn't hold back when she slammed the organization's decision to honor the polarizing billionaire and the FOX Corp. founder.

Barbra took to IG to join forces with the Ginsburg family in denouncing this year's honorees ... saying she had the honor of rubbing elbows with RBG herself on multiple occasions, and she seriously doubts the late justice would give a nod to these particular awardees.

For those who don't know, the Org rolled out the Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Leadership Award back in 2019, originally aimed at honoring accomplished women. But, in a move toward gender equality, they switched gears in 2020 and started including men in the mix.

The pendulum swung pretty far the other way this year with 4 out of the 5 honorees being men -- billionaire philanthropist Michael Milken, actor Sylvester Stallone and Martha Stewart were to be honored along with Murdoch and Musk.

Barbra's denouncement came hot on the heels of RBG's daughter Jane speaking out, saying ... "The justice's family wish to make clear that they do not support using their mother's name to celebrate this year's slate of awardees and that the justice's family has no affiliation with and does not endorse these awards."

The backlash hit its peak when the foundation Chair, Julie Opperman, finally stepped up and announced the April ceremony was canceled... adding that offending RBG's family and friends was the last thing they wanted to do.

Opperman also mentioned the foundation will take a step back to reconsider its mission and figure out how it wants to move forward in the future.

Usher Brings Down The House With 'Mom' Speech At NAACP Awards

Usher won big at the NAACP Image Awards Saturday night, lassoing statues for Entertainer of the Year and the President's Award -- but it was his speech of sheer gratitude for his mom that took everyone by storm.

The R&B singer stepped up to the podium at the 55th annual ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles after NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson bestowed Usher the coveted President's Award.

During his acceptance speech, Usher delivered his passionate words about his mom, Jonnetta Patton, giving her full credit for his successful career.

Usher told the star-studded audience that his mom taught him the purpose of being able to speak to the world through his music.

He also highlighted that his mom overcame the male-dominated entertainment industry and brushed up on her boardroom skills to cut the best deals for her son, putting him on top of the industry.

At several points, the emotional crowd clapped for Usher, showing their approval of him. But Usher didn't stop there ... he also mentioned women in the industry often do not get the recognition they deserve.

The singer also took home the Entertainer of the Year award, beating out Colman Domingo, Fantasia Barrino, Halle Bailey and Keke Palmer -- that award was given to him by none other than Oprah Winfrey, too.

The Usher wins were well deserved ... as you know, Usher has been killing it lately with his Las Vegas residency which he closed out at the end of last year -- not to mention a memorable performance at the 2024 Super Bowl.

Other honorees at the NAACP Awards included Fantasia for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture and "The Color Purple" for Best Motion Picture. Queen Latifah hosted the event.
