Arnold Schwarzenegger Senate Run a No-Go

3/12/2017 7:53 AM PDT
Breaking News

0312-arnold-schwarzenegger-TMZ-01Arnold Schwarzenegger has shot down a move inside the GOP to get the former California Guv to make a run for U.S. Senate.

Arnold just said, "I'm deeply flattered by all of the people who have approached me about running for Senate, but my mission right now is to bring sanity to Washington through redistricting reform like we passed here in California."

Schwarzenegger, the former "Celebrity Apprentice" host, and the former-former host, Donald Trump, have been going at each other for weeks, and a Schwarzenegger run would put Trump in an awkward position. The senator he would have run against, Dianne Feinstein, is a Democratic leader and strong opponent of the Prez.

The Senatorial election isn't for a year-and-a-half, so who knows ... things tend to change.

Arnold Schwarzenegger I Won't Be Back to 'Celeb Apprentice' Trump Ruined It!!

3/3/2017 11:32 AM PST
Breaking News

0203_arnold_Schwarzenegger_donald_trump_tmzArnold Schwarzenegger is calling it a one-and-done with "The Celebrity Apprentice" -- he won't be returning to host another season ... and says President Trump's to blame.

Arnold says he had a great time being the face of 'Celebrity Apprentice' and thinks the show was fantastic, but it can't escape the stigma attached to it ... Trump being an executive producer.

"When people found out that Trump was still involved ... and was still receiving money from the show, then half the people [started] boycotting it" ... Arnold said in an interview with Empire.

Rumors began swirling that the show was not going to be renewed due to low ratings and sponsors leaving, so it seems Schwarzenegger decided to bail from the sinking ship. He says even if he was asked to return ... he'd decline.

Arnold said ... "With Trump being involved in the show people have a bad taste and don't want to participate as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the show."

Your (Twitter) move, Mr. President.

Donald Trump Continues Schwarzenegger Attack He Also Failed as Governor

2/3/2017 6:13 AM PST

0207-donald-trump-tmzDonald Trump has doubled down on Arnold Schwarzenegger, not only trashing his performance on 'Celebrity Apprentice' but ripping him over his tenure as Governor of California.

Trump tweeted, "Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice ... but at least he tried hard!"

Trump's tweet follows the President's attack at the National Prayer Breakfast, where he told the group the movie star was failing as his TV successor, saying he was praying for the Gov.

Schwarzenegger followed up with an offer to trade places, so the country would not be riddled with anxiety.

It's unclear why Trump is on the attack. He gets a big cut of the profits if the show does well. True enough, Arnold ended up not supporting Trump in the election, but he followed a long list of Hollywood stars.

Arnold to Trump Dude, Let's Trade Jobs

2/2/2017 7:13 AM PST

Arnold Schwarzenegger just fired back at Donald Trump, telling the president if he's so obsessed with ratings, why not just do a switcheroo and go back to what appears to be his true passion?

Arnold just blasted Trump for blasting him at the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday. Trump asked everyone to take a moment and pray for the movie star because his ratings, according to Trump, are a "disaster."

Arnold's people just added, "Arnold is praying that President Trump can start improving his own approval ratings, which were the worst in history for an incoming President, by taking his job seriously and working inclusively."

Strange times.

Donald Trump Trashes Arnold Schwarzenegger 'Say a Prayer' for 'Apprentice' Ratings

2/2/2017 6:30 AM PST

Donald Trump just cut off his nose to spite his face by calling out Arnold Schwarzenegger and the show which supposedly lines the president's pockets with money.

Trump was at the National Prayer Breakfast in D.C. Thursday when he took aim at the show he helped create like a heat-seeking missile, saying the ratings "went right down the tubes."

He then told the prayer-friendly group to say one for the movie star. He also took a shot at his co-creator, Mark Burnett, who came out toward the end of the campaign and said he did not support Trump.

Trump did not address the fact that his ratings were slipping when he bowed out.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Fires Back at Trump Give a S*** about Your New Job

1/6/2017 7:21 AM PST

0106-arnold-schwarzenegger-donald-trump-TMZ-05Arnold Schwarzenegger just fired back at Donald Trump, calling out his priorities and commitment to making America great again.

Arnold is clearly reacting to Trump's blustery tweet, in which he says Schwarzenegger got creamed in 'Celebrity Apprentice' ratings when you compare them to what the Prez-elect got in his debut.

Schwarzenegger just responded, by tweeting, "I wish you the best of luck and I hope you'll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings."

As we reported, the reality is Trump got huge ratings for his debut, but by his last season his rating for 'Celeb Apprentice' was roughly the same as Arnold's debut.

Arnold followed up with, "There's nothing more important than the people's work." Translation -- you shouldn't be involved in a ratings war.

After the election, Arnold posted a video quoting Abraham Lincoln calling for unity. Apparently, message not received well.

Donald Trump Trashes Arnold Over 'Celebrity Apprentice'

1/6/2017 6:20 AM PST

0106-arnold-schwarzenegger-donald-trump-TMZ-03Donald Trump trashed Arnold Schwarzenegger over the debut of the new 'Celebrity Apprentice' ... and it appears to have more to do with the presidential election than the show.

Trump just tweeted Arnold got "swamped (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT." He goes on, "So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary."

But here's the thing. True enough, Trump scored a rating of around 18 in season 1 of the show, and Arnold's show came in at a 4.9. But what Trump didn't say ... the ratings on his show took a nosedive and in his last season, 2 years ago, he scored right around a 6 rating.

Trump clearly has bad blood ... according to his deal, he actually profits if Arnold's show does well.

'Celeb Apprentice' Crew Broke Up Boy George, Vince Neil Fight ... Says Chael Sonnen

1/6/2017 6:28 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

The Boy George vs. Vince Neil war on 'Celebrity Apprentice' was VERY REAL and almost came to blows on set ... so says Chael Sonnen.

The MMA legend (and 'Celeb Apprentice' co-star) joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show on FS1 and told us it all went down when George (a recovering alcoholic) confronted Vince for drinking wine in the studio during a challenge and Vince didn't take kindly to it.

"Those guys had real-life heat," Sonnen said ... "They had a real life confrontation. It was a fight. It was verbal but it was escalating very quickly."

Sonnen told us it appeared the two were about to get in a fist fight ... and that's when  production rushed in and shut everything down to break it up.

"Production thought it was too hot for TV. They came in, turned their microphones off and shut the cameras down."

Sonnen says he was PISSED the scene didn't make the show -- saying producers missed a HUGE opportunity.

He's a fighter. He likes fights.

Donald Trump Drop 'Apprentice' Talk ... I'm Spending 'Zero Time' On It

12/10/2016 8:38 AM PST
Breaking News

1210-donald-trump-tmz-01Donald Trump is trying to shut down all the buzz about him being an executive producer of "Celebrity Apprentice" while he's in the White House.

The Prez elect said, "I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mar B & have a big stake in it. Will devote ZERO TIME!"

Trump's tweet echoed exactly what TMZ reported -- back in September he told Harvey Levin his involvement was purely financial.

Trump also singled out CNN for reporting he'd be working on the reality show, dismissing it as "FAKE NEWS!"

On a more amusing note, during a rally in Baton Rouge ... he questioned the honor Time Magazine gave him this week. Clearly, there's still a little campaign trail Trump left in the future President.

Donald Trump Stake in 'Apprentice' Continues … But So What?

12/9/2016 8:04 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Donald Trump told Harvey Levin back in September, as one of the creators of "The Apprentice" ... he had a lifetime deal with the show whether he was on it or not.

We were told, then and now, any involvement he might have in the show ceases when he becomes President, other than the title "executive producer" and his paycheck.

Levin asked Trump, while shooting the TV special "OBJECTified: Donald Trump," if he was rooting for Arnold, and Trump made it clear he wants the show to succeed.

Sources connected to the show tell us, Trump had no involvement in the most recent installment with Arnold Schwarzenegger -- and sources connected with Trump tell us he'll have no involvement as long as he is President.

As one source put it, “This is a non story. Presidents don’t cancel preexisting business deals when they get elected. They simply disengage from the decision-making process. Jimmy Carter didn't sell his peanut farm."

'Celeb Apprentice' Richard Hatch Trump 'Slides Up' On Women ... And Melania Knows It

10/20/2016 12:30 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

"Celebrity Apprentice" contestant Richard Hatch says he witnessed Donald Trump's lewd conduct with women repeatedly, and anyone claiming differently -- including his family -- is full of it.

Hatch, who famously won the first "Survivor" crown before working closely with Donald on 'Apprentice' ... says the boss made a habit of getting close to women as soon as they walked in the room. He adds ... Trump never took the hint either when they'd try to shake him.

Richard says he didn't witness the incident recently reported about Gary Busey allegedly groping a female staffer while Trump laughed. But he says he wouldn't be surprised if Donald and producers looked the other way, since they loved having his "crazy" on the show.

He also says Melania claiming others are "egging on" Trump's behavior ... is pure fantasy.

Marlee Matlin IF Trump's 'Retarded' Allegation is True ... My Vote Will Be My Revenge

10/14/2016 12:46 PM PDT
Exclusive Details

1014-marlee-matlin-donald-trump-tmz-02Marlee Matlin is firing back at Donald Trump after seeing reports he allegedly referred to the deaf actress as "retarded" during her time on "Celebrity Apprentice."

Production staffers from the show claim Trump scribbled notes during board meetings, and according to The Daily Beast ... some included, "Marlee, is she retarded??" The report also said Trump would poke fun at Matlin's voice.

Matlin says, "The term is abhorrent and should never be used. The fact that we are talking about this during a very important moment in American history has upset me deeply."

Sources close to Marlee tell TMZ the actress was unaware of the allegation, but added ... Marlee never felt Trump was against her during her time on the show. She finished in 2nd place.

Marlee, a staunch Clinton supporter, also says, "I have a voice. And I'm using that voice to make myself heard ... and vote."

Donald Trump Unaired 'Apprentice' Footage Can't Legally Be Released

10/9/2016 8:16 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

1009-donald-trump-the-apprentice-NBC-01There is mounting pressure on "Apprentice" creator Mark Burnett to release unaired video and audio of Donald Trump on "The Apprentice" ... but there are iron-clad confidentiality agreements that would make such release impossible ... plus Burnett doesn't own the video.

Bill Pruitt, a producer on Seasons 1 and 2, tweeted, "I assure you:  when it comes to the #trumptapes there are far worse.  #justthebeginning."

There are reports Burnett owns the rights to the footage, but he does not.  It's owned by MGM, and there are written agreements that would almost guarantee a lawsuit if the footage is released ... especially because it captures many people other than Trump.

As for the "Access Hollywood" audio, we're told that was not released by the show ... it was leaked by someone who had access to the tapes.

Trump's replacement on "The Apprentice," Arnold Schwarzenegger, just announced he won't vote for Trump.

Others in Hollywood have been pushing to get at "The Apprentice" footage. "Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss is pushing for the release, telling TMZ it would provide "a real accurate look at who this man is."
