12:23 PM PT -- Christine Russo joined us today on "TMZ Live" Wednesday, where she explained that Mackenzie's behavior is making a mockery out of their family's tragedy.

Mackenzie Shirilla is posting glammed-up prison selfies on Instagram ... but Dominic Russo's sister tells TMZ all she sees is a convicted killer soaking up attention online.

Mackenzie's new prison selfie and a message saying she's "trying to do better every day and holding on to hope" has Christine Russo demanding prison officials investigate whether she's improperly accessing social media behind bars.

Christine tells TMZ ... "As Dominic Russo's sister, it is heartbreaking to see someone convicted in connection with my brother's death appear to have a social media presence while our family is suffering every day. While my brother is buried, seeing her post selfies, full face of makeup, and bragging how she is famous is painful and, to me, completely inconsistent with remorse."

A federal judge has ordered E. Jean Carroll to be paid $5.8 million after a jury found President Donald Trump had sexually abused her way back in 1996 ... but POTUS is appealing to stop the payment.

Judge Lewis A. Kaplan issued an order Wednesday saying Carroll can be paid the initial $5 million award plus interest ... the civil verdict was reached back in 2023 and Trump put the money in an account, but Carroll is yet to collect ... according to the AP.

The judge's decision follows a long process where Carroll's lawyers requested the disbursement after the Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal of the 2023 civil verdict ... and Trump continued attacks against Carroll while his lawyers looked into asking the high court to reconsider their decision.

A spokesperson for Mercedes-Benz Arena tells TMZ ... footage showing soccer fans entering the stadium for Tuesday's Round of 16 match between Egypt and Argentina is being misconstrued.

While social media users claim Egypt fans were stopped for pat downs while Argentina fans were waved through, the stadium rep says the Egypt fans were part of a supporter group, and as such, they were patted down for fireworks and other banned items before entry through their gate.

We're told the reason Egypt fans were stopped while Argentina fans were sent on their way is that the Argentina fans in the video were not part of a supporter group... just general fans, and they were being waved toward a different gate, where they went through security ... the same as everyone else.

Jack Antonoff is keeping the band together ... the hit-making producer was just spotted wearing his wedding ring ... even as reports swirl that he and Margaret Qualley have separated.

The Bleachers frontman was photographed Wednesday morning near his Brooklyn home while out grabbing coffee and walking a dog with his sister, Rachel Antonoff.

I've always believed that as long as I could compete at the level I expect of myself, I’d keep playing. I never wanted to retire because of a milestone, a number, or a date on the calendar. I wanted the game to tell me when it was time," Verlander wrote in the announcement.

Here's the booking photo Big Tigger's estranged wife Alicia Brown posed for after being busted on kidnapping-related warrants ... and she looks shocked and surprised.

The mug shot, obtained by TMZ, was snapped after Brown was taken into custody Monday during a felony traffic stop on Interstate 85 in Georgia.

As TMZ first reported, the Hart County Sheriff's Office says deputies received a BOLO for Brown's vehicle after learning she was wanted on kidnapping-related warrants out of Maryland. With help from the Georgia State Patrol, authorities tracked down the car, conducted a felony traffic stop and arrested Brown without incident.

Nolan Wells' death has sparked a flood of theories online ... but the Mississippi sheriff overseeing the case tells TMZ detectives haven't found evidence of a crime at this point.

Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter tells TMZ ... investigators have interviewed several of Nolan's friends and other witnesses as detectives work to piece together the 18-year-old's final hours.

Ledbetter says everything investigators have gathered so far indicates no crime has taken place. That said, he cautions the investigation remains active ... and tells us that assessment could change if new evidence comes to light.

Fitness and "looksmaxxing" influencer Connor Murphy's close friend is remembering him as someone who gained "superhuman abilities" before he died.

Check out the video tribute shared by fitness influencer Tony Huge ... he says Connor was taking a deep dive into questions about the meaning of life and consciousness in the days leading up to his death, telling followers he believes Connor "tapped into a level of consciousness that most people never will be."

Margaret Qualley scrubbed her wedding day photos from her social media ... a move that is stirring more speculation that there's trouble in paradise between her and Jack Antonoff.

It's not clear when she removed the pics ... but Margaret was noticeably absent from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding celebrations last weekend, even though Jack was there -- leading to the split speculation.

Some folks think Margaret was MIA because she's working on the new flick "King Snake" ... but others claimed production wrapped a little while back ... and now she's seemingly removing any trace of Jack from her Instagram.
