Ever since TMZ posted a crazy video of Too Short running from cops during a DUI bust ... everyone has wondered, WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING???? Well now we finally know.

Short was out in L.A. Friday night at KDay's Krush Groove Concert ... when our photog broached the subject, and the rapper fully admitted he ran away from the police because he really thought he had a chance to escape.

But we all know how it turned out out -- Short was arrested and charged with Ecstasy possession after cops say they found drugs in the back of the cruiser.

Lil Scrappy has pissed off the police ... because he allegedly refused to piss for police ... and now a warrant has been issued for his arrest, TMZ has learned.

The urine controversy bubbled to the surface back in March ... when the "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta" star was required to submit to a pee test in Georgia as part of his probation, stemming from a 2008 pot arrest.

Problem is ... officials say Scrappy tried to turn in a urine sample that was cold to the touch ... and cops believe it may have been tampered with. They refused to accept the sample ... and told Scrappy to provide a fresh cup of yellow gold.

But Scrappy refused the pee demand, denied the allegations of tampering and left the premises ... so officials issued a warrant for his arrest, claiming he once again violated his probation by not cooperating.

We spoke to Scrappy's lawyer, Mawuli Mel Davis, who tells us Scrappy plans to appear in court on May 16 to address the issue -- and says, "It is our hope that the Judge will recall the revocation warrant that is currently pending against Mr. Richardson."

He adds, "Since Mr. Richardson’s release from jail, he has been reporting to probation as ordered and doing his best to comply with all conditions of probation."

"American Pie" star Eddie Kaye Thomas sure knows how to pick 'em ... the woman who allegedly barricaded herself inside his home with a knife after a one-night stand has a history of SERIOUSLY wearing out her welcome.

TMZ has learned ... 31-year-old Roxanna Bear was arrested twice in February ... once for public intoxication and once for trespassing.

Police say Roxanna was loitering around the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel -- where she was NOT a guest -- on Feb. 24. She refused to leave when hotel security confronted her ... so they called the cops.

The other arrest came just a few days before, when police say Roxanna was stumbling drunk in the middle of Wilshire Blvd. She was allegedly combative during both arrests -- though no knives were involved.

Also, we've learned the L.A. County DA just hit Roxie with 5 charges for the incident at Eddie's house ... including vandalism, exhibiting a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.

As TMZ first reported, EKT picked her up the night before at Mel's Diner ... cops had to use tear gas to get her out.

Lil' Flip skipped ... and the judge tripped.

The rapper -- who's accused of gun and drug possession -- no-showed at a hearing this morning, and the judge reacted by holding him in contempt and issuing an arrest warrant.

A source close to Flip said he was unaware he had a hearing today ... and he told TMZ his lawyer is working to clear this silly little thing up.

Flip was busted Christmas night for speeding ... and cops allegedly found weed and an AR-15 rifle in the car. He told TMZ he has a license for the gun, and insists the blunts were just a special kind of tobacco.

Y'know what they say about stranger danger -- the chick who pulled a knife on Eddie Kaye Thomas had just met the "American Pie" star less than 24 hours earlier ... TMZ has learned.

As we first reported ... SWAT responded to Thomas' house Wednesday evening after Thomas called 911 ... and remained in a standoff with the woman for a couple hours ... before forcing her out with tear gas.

She was taken into custody, checked out at a hospital, and then booked for felony vandalism.

But here's the best part -- according to law enforcement sources Eddie met the chick the night before at Mel's Diner, and brought her back to his place.

Typical one night stand, we're guessing ... until Wednesday afternoon when Eddie says they got into an argument, and she pulled the knife.

During the standoff, we're told the woman smashed up a phone, a guitar ... and generally trashed Eddie's house before cops smoked her out.

"American Pie" star Eddie Kaye Thomas -- who played Finch in the movies -- just called the police, claiming a female houseguest threatened to kill him with a knife ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... and now a SWAT team is outside his house.

According to sources, the couple got into an argument and the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened him ... so Thomas ran outside and call 911.

A SWAT team has responded to the Hollywood Hills home, where the woman remains barricaded inside.

Celebrities are gonna have a field sobriety day with this one ... The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled ... it's unconstitutional for cops to forcibly draw blood from someone who was busted for DUI unless they get a warrant -- or prove a damn good reason for not getting one.

The implications here are far-reaching. If someone refuses a breathalyzer ... cops may have to take the time to write up an affidavit and get a judge to sign a warrant. That time could be enough to allow the person to sober up enough so their blood alcohol level drops below the legal limit.

There's an exception in the ruling, though ... cops can proceed without a warrant if they later prove to a judge that they had a compelling reason to do so.

Just look at the partial list of celebs who have been busted for DUI ... Lindsay Lohan, Bobby Brown, Paris Hilton, Taran Noah Smith, Mel Gibson, Chris Klein, Rick Springfield, Richie Sambora, Tracy Morgan, Vince Neil, Kiefer Sutherland, Ty Pennington, Thomas Jane, Charles Barkley, Sam Shepard, Michelle Rodriguez, Mickey Rourke, Randy Travis, Nicole Richie, Haley Joel Osment, David Cassidy and Chad Kroeger.

It's a game changer ... bar none.

Justin Bieber's hijinks are apparently contagious ... a woman who claims she was hired to work as his chef has been charged with beating up her boyfriend.

Sara Horowitz -- who placed 4th in Season 2 of "Hell's Kitchen" -- apparently isn't very nimble when it comes to food -- because according to legal docs ... she dropped a cooler filled with food inside a car and it made a mess.

Apparently Sara's boyfriend -- El Paso TV weatherman Mark Mathis -- was none too pleased, and they started arguing. According to cops, things escalated and Sara allegedly punched and kicked Mark, breaking his glasses and scratching his face.

She was arrested April 10 for assault/family violence and charged the next day with a misdemeanor.

We reached out to Sara -- so far, no comment.

He went from Smokey Robinson to Smokey and the Bandit in less than 30 minutes -- a contestant on "X Factor" stole a car after his audition and went on a crazy chase before he was subdued.

Orrion Wilson from Florida -- of course -- was plum out of money after his audition near New Orleans. He didn't have enough for bus fare, so he went to a gas station ... lying in wait ... until a chump left his car running and went inside for cigarettes or something. Wilson took off in the car and led cops on a 75-mph chase, which ended with the rusty trusty "pit maneuver."

Wilson told authorities he did well in the audition and expected to return for round 2 in NYC, but needed some wheels to get there.

Wilson is still in custody.

He's pranked Madonna, Will Smith and Adele ... but his next victim could be his cell-mate Bubba.

Vitalii Sediuk faces jail time for crashing the Grammy Awards stage and messing with Adele's moment at the February ceremony ... TMZ has learned.

The 24-year-old Ukranian ran onstage ahead of the singer's acceptance speech and spoke into the microphone before Jennifer Lopez shooed him off. He's been charged with entering a performance area and interfering with performers ... both misdemeanors ... and faces six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count.

He'll be arraigned May 31.

Remember -- this is the guy who tried to kiss Will Smith on a red carpet in Moscow ... and got slapped down for it. His first trick was to hand Madonna a bouquet of hydrangeas -- knowing full well that they are the Material Girl's "most loathed" flower.

Wonder if he has any pranks involving soap on a rope.

Coolio should know better than to bring another woman home to the house he shares with his girlfriend ... and he should also know better than to allegedly punch her in the face.

TMZ has learned the rap legend -- aka Artis Ivey Jr. -- was popped on April Fools' Day after he allegedly pushed Anabella Chatman to the ground and punched her in the face. And to add insult to injury ... according to the police report, Coolio then hightailed it out of there with their toddler son and the other woman.

Actually ... he didn't get out clean. Anabella says Coolio struck her with his car as he beat his hasty retreat -- in fact, cops say she had tire marks on her leg. Pretty compelling evidence.

Hugh Jackman brought a little extra protection with him to the gym today ... and we do mean little ... in the form of his adorable French bulldog, Peaches.

Jackman told photogs yesterday he was still a little shaken up from the incident Saturday ... when an unstable fan broke into his gym, screaming and crying, and threw an electric razor filled with her pubic hair at him.

Clearly he's hoping that if she tries it again ... Peaches will wake up in time to stop her.

When you're as ripped as Hugh Jackman ... it takes a lot to rattle you -- but the star admits his run-in with a deranged pubic hair-throwing fan was pretty terrifying.

Jackman opened up to paps yesterday about the scary incident -- Saturday in NYC a woman walked up to him in his gym and unloaded a razor filled with her own short and curlies ... all while declaring her love for him.

So, you'd think Hugh -- who, by the way, looks HUGE in this clip -- would be pretty pissed off about the whole thing, right?

Kevin Hart was not under oath, but he still told the truth to TMZ on his way out of jail ... he was drunk when cops busted him for DUI.

As TMZ first reported, Hart was popped for suspicion of DUI early Sunday morning after California Highway Patrol officers spotted him speeding and driving erratically on the freeway.

On his way out of jail this morning, Hart fully admitted to being drunk ... and even said he told the officers as much. Guess he doesn't plan on pleading not guilty.

Kevin Hart was arrested early this morning on suspicion of DUI after he nearly slammed into a gas tanker while speeding on a freeway ... TMZ has learned.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers spotted the comedian driving in a black Mercedes on the 101 Freeway at around 4:30 AM PT. The CHP says he was "driving erratic," "going 90 MPH" and "almost collided with a gas tanker truck."

The CHP says when they pulled Hart over, he showed "objective signs of intoxication" and was "unable to perform field sobriety tests."

He was booked into a local jail for misdemeanor DUI just before 6:00 AM PT and posted a $5,000 bond.

You know what celebrities love? When you break into their gym and throw an electric razor filled with your own pubic hair at them!

Just kidding ... they hate that stuff, so when it happened to Hugh Jackman yesterday ... the woman got thrown out and later arrested.

It all went down at Jackman's gym in NYC yesterday. Police say the woman was hysterically crying as she declared her love for Jackman and threw the razor at him.

After she was tossed out of the gym, cops caught up with her a few blocks away and she was placed under arrest.
