Brendan Dassey -- the man who was convicted for helping Steven Avery in a murder chronicled on "Making a Murderer" -- was just ordered released from custody by a federal judge.

The judge issued the order Monday but tacked on several conditions for his release -- including Brendan can't leave the eastern part of Wisconsin, can't obtain a passport, and can't possess weapons or controlled substances.

Brendan's also been ordered not to have any contact with Steven Avery or the family of the victim, Teresa Halbach. He must also provide by Tuesday an address of where he'll live.

A judge overturned Brendan's conviction after ruling that prosecutors violated his constitutional rights, when, among other things, they interrogated him without an adult present. Brendan was only 16 at the time.

It hasn't even been a week since Lindsey Vonn broke her arm and underwent emergency surgery ... and she's already got her ass back in the gym.

The Olympic skier hit the exercise bike over the weekend -- while trying to balance a weighted staff with the right arm she snapped during a ski crash on Thursday.

Vonn had a plate and screws put in her arm during surgery -- and now she's rocking a cool black sleeve and brace while it heals up.

Ex-Oregon Ducks football star Cliff Harris -- a former All-American kick returner -- was arrested for drugs early Sunday morning ... and it's clear his life is completely off the rails.

The 25-year-old was a stud back in 2010 -- when he was one of the most dynamic players in college football as a returner and CB and helped the Ducks win another PAC-12 championship.

But he was dismissed from the program in 2011 -- and his draft stock plummeted. He signed a contract with the Jets in 2013 but was quickly waived after he was busted for weed.

Now, officials say Harris was arrested around 1 AM on Sunday for theft, drug possession and possession of paraphernalia.

Officials also say he violated his probation -- stemming from a 2015 incident in which Harris set fire to a grassy median in Fresno, CA.

The Twitter war between Conor McGregor and Tyron Woodley escalated to a real-life confrontation moments ago ... with Conor screaming at the champ backstage at the UFC weigh-ins ... calling him a "woman."

As we previously reported, McGregor called Woodley a "bitch" on Twitter after an icy interaction at a UFC event Friday morning. Afterward, they trashed each other on social media.

But when they ran into each other at the UFC 205 public weigh-in Friday evening, things got REAL -- with Conor saying, "You're like a woman with that phone ... f**king bitch."

Woodley didn't react ... pissing off Conor even more.

11:45 PM PST -- Zimmerman tells us he never used any type of racial slur and says the whole thing started when a female he was with got assaulted ... George says he was only sticking up for her.

George Zimmerman was angry, belligerent and hurled the n-word before he was tossed from a Florida bar ... according to cops.

Seminole Co. Sheriff's deputies went to the bar Wednesday night to investigate a possible battery involving someone in Zimmerman's group. According to the report -- obtained by TMZ -- cops saw Zimmerman shouting at a female employee ... who said she was trying to collect his bill.

The manager told cops George had said, "I didn't know you were a n***** lover."

As for the possible battery, cops say George claimed a man had hit him on the shoulder multiple times, but surveillance video showed it was just a friendly pat. The bar manager said they've had repeated issues with Zimmerman and banned him from returning.

Zimmerman's statement to cops was not flattering. He wrote, "Officer X is an incompetent officer under qualified to flip burgers."

Taylor Swift left a recent concert in Austin with a 39-year-old man in hot pursuit ... according to police, who just busted the guy.

Frank Andrew Hoover was arrested Thursday by Austin PD, and police docs say he'd been hounding Taylor and her family for months leading up to her Oct. 22 concert at Formula 1 race. The night of the show, he allegedly followed her motorcade from the track to the airport where a private jet was waiting for Taylor and her parents.

Swift's bodyguards told police Hoover got within 25 to 50 feet of Taylor's car, and when they asked what he was doing there, he said he was there to get a pic and "possibly accompany Taylor wherever she goes."

Hoover also allegedly flooded Taylor's dad with emails from Aug. 28 until Oct. 27, and some included creepy messages like ... "Without her, I walk the earth alone forever and she'll continue to experience failed relationships that break her heart."

Swift already had a protective order in place against Hoover, which required him to stay 500 feet away from her.

Tyron Woodley just threatened to "Go Ferguson" on Conor McGregor's ass -- after the Irish superstar called him a "bitch" on social media.

It all started at the UFC 205 weigh-ins earlier Friday when Tyron tried to say hello to Conor and McGregor blew him off.

Woodley explained in a tweet ... "I said what's up then he tried to flex. Quickly he realized it was a NO FLEX ZONE 🚫Pretty much made him say what's up!"

"Some of us are really about that life! The quiet ones are the ones really from the slums. Don't make me go back."

That's when Conor chimed in ... "Twitter bitch you'll do nothing."

Tyron (who's from Ferguson) fired back -- "Dude Im not them guys u deal w Homie! I'll forget the fight 💩 & go Ferguson! Focus on Eddie & never call me a Bitch again."

Conor's reply -- "Bitch."

Hillary Clinton's life post-election has gone to the dogs.

Hill and Bill were spotted out hiking with their pups near their home in Chappaqua, NY Thursday afternoon ... one of their neighbors snapped this shot while out for a walk with her baby.

The neighbor says the Clintons seemed relaxed and they exchanged pleasantries for a few minutes, took the pic, then went their separate ways.

N.Y. Mets star Jeurys Familia just pled not guilty to a domestic violence charge stemming from his arrest last week in New Jersey.

As we previously reported, the 27-year old pitcher was arrested for simple assault on October 31 after cops say he "caused bodily injury to another" during an alleged domestic dispute.

Familia appeared in Fort Lee Municipal Court -- with his attorney, wife and a translator -- and formally entered his plea.

The wife of Buffalo Bills kicker Dan Carpenter says she was NOT being racist when she called Richard Sherman an "animal" on Twitter this week ... but she still refuses to apologize for it.

Kaela Carpenter got herself into hot water after the "Monday Night Football" game when she lashed out at Sherman for what she claims was a dirty hit on her husband. She posted a picture of a castration device with the caption, "I know what we do on the farm when a male can't control his own rage #ActLikeAnAnimalGetTreatedLike1"

Some people freaked out -- and pointed out the long, shameful history of white people comparing blacks to animals in America.

Kaela responded on Twitter Wednesday morning ... saying, "My attempt at humor during a heated and highly controversial NFL game has not been received the way I intended."

"When I saw the out of control nature of the events that happened on the field, I jokingly wanted to relate it to life on the farm, where I grew up, and how it would have been handled there."

"Unfortunately, I did not realize that a tone of racism would dominate the response to what I intended to be a lighthearted defense of my husband."

"Regardless of the narrative that has been attached to my post, it was never intended to be related to race, or the disgusting hatred that created the basis for racism."

No apology, just an explanation.

Conor McGregor was not impressed with the 2016 Election -- claiming neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton have any real power to make a difference ... and nothing's gonna change.

The UFC superstar sat down with BT Sport before the results came in -- and he was asked for his thoughts on Trump ... and that's when he went off.

"I just could not give a bullocks ... all due respect, the whole thing is just weird to me. I don't think whoever wins, anything's gonna change."

"I don't think either of those two contenders have any power in anything, anyway. But whatever, it is what it is."

But when it comes to his own political career, Conor says don't rule him out at some point down the line ...

Bills kicker Dan Carpenter's wife is NOT HAPPY with Richard Sherman ... comparing the Pro Bowler to an animal and threatening to castrate him over a controversial play during Monday Night Football.

Sherman's been catching flak for diving at Carpenter's legs during a field goal attempt last night ... in a play many people said was dirty. For his part, R.S. claims he was simply going for the ball.

But Carpenter's wife, Kaela, ain't buyin' it ... so she hit up Twitter to send a very ominous message to Sherman.

Robert Durst just pled not guilty to murder, in the death of his good friend, Susan Berman.

Durst appeared in L.A. County Superior Court Monday afternoon to enter his plea. He was wearing a neck brace, sitting next to his lawyers.

The 73-year-old was extradited from Indiana to face charges that he killed Berman because she was wise to another murder ... involving Durst's first wife, who disappeared in 1982.

Durst was famously featured in the HBO show 'The Jinx,' in which he appeared to have confessed to the murders, saying, "Killed 'em all, of course."

The D.A. says she will not seek the death penalty.

Jon Jones says he is "very pleased" arbitrators in his doping case found that he's "not a drug cheat" -- despite the fact he tested positive for 2 banned substances.

After the UFC star failed a drug test in June, he faced a 1-year ban from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. The case went to an independent panel of arbitrators which determined his fate.

Although he was given the max punishment, Jones is taking solace in the fact arbitrators believed his story about innocently taking a sexual enhancement tablet that contained banned substances.

Jones had claimed he relied on his teammate who said it could enhance his sexual pleasure -- and admitted he didn't properly clear the pill with USADA.

In the docs, the arbitrators called his actions "reckless" -- but ultimately decided he is not a "drug cheat."

Now, Jones has issued a statement saying, "Being cleared of these allegations was very important to me."

"I have always maintained my innocence and I am very happy I have been cleared in any wrong doing pursuant to the allegations made that I had intentionally taken a banned substance."

"I have worked hard in and outside of the octagon to regain my image and my fighting career and will take these next eight months to continue my training and personal growth both as a man and a athlete."

World class athletes from all sports came to the Big Apple this weekend to run the New York City Marathon -- where they were ALL smoked by that skinny dude from "Catfish."

Matt Barnes is PISSED at the New Orleans Pelicans for cutting his boy Lance Stephenson -- saying Lance busted his ass for the team, only to get waived after he got hurt.

Stephenson suffered a groin injury and will require surgery that will reportedly keep him out for 6 to 10 weeks. So, New Orleans waived him and signed Archie Goodwin to take his roster spot.

The move infuriated Barnes.

"So my man Lance Stephenson busts his ass for the Pelicans, gets hurt, requires surgery & what does he get for his hard work??? WAIVED SMFH," the Sacramento Kings star wrote.

"Something fans have to understand is y'all get mad when players leave during free agency or hold out for money.. We have to do what's best for US, we have a small window to make as much money as we can."

"Remember this is a BUSINESS when you can no longer serve your purpose these teams cut you trade you or bury you on the bench!"
