3:06 PM PT -- A rep for Derek and Gloria tells TMZ Sports ... "On behalf of Derek Fisher and Gloria Govan, they would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. They are beyond grateful that they are both okay and that no one else was involved. Both Derek and Gloria are home and ask that you respect their privacy."

Derek Fisher was arrested on suspicion of DUI Sunday after crashing his car on the 101 Freeway following a night out at Catch in West Hollywood ... and the wreckage looks gnarly.

Derek's Cadillac flipped over just after 3 AM PT Sunday as he was heading northbound on the Ventura 101 Freeway. His passenger was "Basketball Wives" star Gloria Govan. Neither Derek nor Gloria were injured.

Derek was then arrested and jailed after it was determined he'd been drinking. The car wreck could have been deadly from how badly the car had flipped ... based on video obtained by TMZ Sports.

CHP officials say Derek veered into the paved right shoulder of the 101 just east of the 405 interchange. He collided with the raised concrete curb and guardrail, which flipped his car over once. Luckily, the crash left both Derek and Gloria unscathed.

We got Derek Saturday night leaving Catch at 11:45 PM, but he crashed at 3 AM. He apparently picked up Gloria after dinner, because she wasn't at Catch. He and Gloria have been an open couple since March.

3:30 AM PT -- Authorities now say 7 people are dead and 48 injured. The 3 suspects were shot and killed by police. After running over dozens of people on the London Bridge, the suspects left and reportedly went to Borough Market, where a number of patrons were stabbed. Police confronted and killed the 3. They were wearing what looked like explosive vests, but the garments did not contain explosives. Police shot the 3 men just 8 minutes after the initial attack.

5:00 PM PT -- The Metropolitan Police have declared the incidents at the London Bridge and Borough Market to be acts of terrorism. A third incident at Vauxhall -- another stabbing -- was not connected.

The London Bridge has been closed after a white van drove off the road and plowed into pedestrians late Saturday night.

According to early reports ... the van was being driven by a man traveling around 50 mph, and at least 5 people are being treated for injuries after he mounted the pavement and struck them.

The Metropolitan Police say they are dealing with an incident on the bridge, and have armed officers on the scene. They've also responded to reports of stabbings at the nearby Borough Market. It's unclear if the 2 incidents are connected at this point.

BBC reporter Holly Jones claims she saw a man being arrested following the van incident -- he was shirtless while being handcuffed.

London's Southwark Bridge has also been closed as a precaution.

There is grave concern this is another terrorist attack in the UK.

Troy Aikman started off his European vacation with a bang -- proposing to his girlfriend on Lake Como on Friday ... and she said, 'Yes!'

The Cowboys legend has been dating Capa Mooty -- who's been described in the media as a "Dallas fashion icon."

The two flew to Italy on Thursday to begin a euro-trip together -- she clearly didn't know it would be an engagement vacation.

They've been dating since at least 2016. No word on how they met. Both Troy and Capa each have 2 children from previous relationships.

This will be Troy's second marriage. He divorced his first wife, Rhonda, back in 2011.

Ariana Grande's already spreading the love in Manchester ... even before taking the stage for her One Love benefit concert.

She toured a hospital to visit some of the victims still healing after the bombing at Ariana's Manchester Arena show on May 22.

As she went room to room her young fans lit up ... smiling as she posed for photos with all of them.

The benefit concert is set to go down Sunday at Manchester's Old Trafford cricket ground with Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Coldplay and many more performing along with Ariana.

1:22 PM PT -- Enes has expanded on the arrest -- saying, "I woke this morning to the news of my father being arrested by the Turkish government."

"The police raided our home in Istanbul, something that is happening to many innocent families across Turkey just because they are members of Hizmet, inspired by Scholar, Fethullah Gulen."

"My father is arrested because of my outspoken criticism of the ruling party. He may get tortured for simply being my family member. There are countless stories that Amnesty International has published about rape, torture, and sodomy in the Turkish prisons following the alleged failed Military Coup attempt on July 15, 2016, that is blamed on innocent individuals of Hizmet. You may clearly see that benefactor of this failed coup was the Turkish Government."

OKC Thunder star Enes Kanter says his father has been arrested in Turkey -- and fears he could be tortured by government officials.

Kanter didn't get into details but tweeted, "MY DAD HAS BEEN ARRESTED by Turkish government and the Hitler of our century. He is potentially to get tortured as thousand others."

Kanter himself is a wanted man in Turkey -- the government has accused him of being a member of an armed anti-government terrorist organization.

Enes is currently in the United States and says he wants to become an American citizen. His father still lives in Turkey.

Kanter has been publicly critical of Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for a while -- and has mocked him over social media.

A terrorist threat has upended a German music fest, and forced the swift evacuation of more than 80,000 fans.

The Rock am Ring festival was starting Friday in Nuerburg, but organizers suddenly announced police were advising they immediately clear out the grounds "due to a terrorist threat."

Fans appeared to be pouring out in an orderly fashion ... no stampede at all. In fact, thousands were singing along as they filed out of the Nuernburgring stadium. There was already a massive police presence -- 1,200 officers -- and backpacks had been banned at the event in the wake of the Manchester bombing.

Machine Gun Kelly, System of a Down, Macklemore, Liam Gallagher and Sum 41 are just a few of the acts scheduled to play the 3-day festival.

Police haven't released any specifics about the threat. Organizers are hoping to resume the concert on Saturday.

Ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier and 2 other former high-ranked officials have been sentenced to jail terms for their involvement in the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal Friday.

Officials say Spanier, ex-Athletic Director Tim Curley and ex-V.P. Gary Schultz were alerted of a 2001 incident of Sandusky sexually assaulting a young boy in a Penn State shower ... and did NOT report it to police, but simply told Sandusky he couldn't bring boys to campus anymore.

Spanier -- who was found guilty of misdemeanor child endangerment -- was sentenced to 4 to 12 months in jail, with the first 2 behind bars and the rest on house arrest. He will also serve 2 years probation, 200 hours of community service and will have to pay $7,500 in fines.

Schultz and Curley pled guilty to misdemeanor child endangerment charges in March.

Curley was sentenced to 7 to 23 months (the first 3 months in jail, the rest under house arrest), 200 hours of community service and $5,000 in fines.

Rihanna was ON FIRE during Game 1 of the NBA Finals -- allegedly heckling Kevin Durant, bowing to LeBron James ... and talking trash to haters on the way out of the arena.

FYI, RiRi is a HUUUUGE Bron fan -- and can be seen bowing to #23 while sitting in her courtside seats at Game 1 on Thursday night. She later dabbed at someone who reportedly told her to sit down.

But the craziest part of the game was when Rihanna seemed to have screamed "BRICK" at KD during a free throw. He made the shot and stared in her direction as if to say, "Got something to say now?"

KD was asked about the incident by BSO's Robert Littal in a post-game presser -- but insisted he didn't remember throwing the eye-daggers in Rihanna's direction.

The Trump International Hotel guest who was busted with high-powered guns -- blocks from the White House -- has a troubling interest in Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

According to new police docs ... Bryan Moles left a voicemail with a friend about his trip from Pennsylvania to Washington D.C., saying his car "looked like Timothy McVeigh or Eric Rudolph was going on a camping trip." McVeigh killed 168 people in the 1995 OKC bombing, and Rudolph is the convicted Olympic Park bomber.

Once cops tracked Moles to his hotel room, they discovered a large amount of cash. According to docs ... Moles told them he'd withdrawn $10k from his checking account to leave it with a balance of $4.19, as a nod to April 19 ... the date of the Oklahoma City bombing.

He also told cops he'd once written a term paper on McVeigh.

Cops say Moles, who is a physician at a PA hospital -- also admitted he'd stopped taking anti-psychotic meds -- to treat PTSD from his military service -- because they made him suicidal.

The L.A. Rams are breaking even more ground in the LGBTQ arena -- becoming the 1st NFL team ever to officially sponsor a gay pride event.

The team has joined up with Venice Pride -- the organization behind the massive Venice Pride block party -- and has sponsored the blue lights in the letter "C" in the famous VENICE sign.

Each letter in the sign will be lit up with a different color -- just like the rainbow LGBTQ pride flag. The event begins June 2.

A Rams spokesperson issued a statement saying the team is proud to "stand in alignment with the LGBT community that is such an important part of the fabric of Los Angeles."

"Inclusion has always been a valued part of our organization and we see this as a unique way to publicly celebrate the diversity that makes this community so special."

Of course, the Rams made history in 2014 when they drafted Michael Sam -- the first openly gay player to enter the NFL Draft.

Several members of the Western Kentucky University football team were hit with criminal charges for attacking a guy at a fraternity house in March and are now suspended from the team.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... a group of WKU football players showed up to the Pike frat house on March 5 and attacked an alum. Video footage shows several people tackling, stomping and punching the guy, who ended up in the ER with injuries.

The Kentucky Office of the Attorney General announced charges against seven football players.

RB Quinton Baker, WR Xavier Lane, LB Tyler Obee and DE Cecil Stallings were charged with the most serious crimes -- complicity to wanton endangerment, complicity to assault and criminal trespass. They face up to 6 years behind bars.

WR Jahcour Pearson and DL Chris Johnson were hit with criminal trespass charges. LB Drew O'Bryan (who just transferred to Eastern Kentucky University) was charged with menacing and criminal trespass.

Charles Barkley is going to bat for his old friend, Tiger Woods -- saying people like Jack Nicklaus who say Tiger needs help don't REALLY know what they're talking about.

Barkley appeared on 97.5 FM The Fanatic Philadelphia on Wednesday and was asked for his thoughts on Tiger's DUI. He's clearly upset with people assuming Tiger has a serious substance abuse issue.

"Even Jack Nicklaus, somebody I really respect, talking about, 'Tiger really needs help.' Well he don't KNOW that. We don't know if Tiger has a drug problem."

Barkley added, "He just had a bad reaction [to prescription medication]. He wasn't out there drinking and driving."

Barkley says the "haters" are "in heaven right now because they get a chance to dump on the guy."

Barkley and Tiger were very close friends before 2009 -- and would regularly hit Vegas together. But Tiger cut him off after his marriage fell apart.

The New York Mets have FIRED Mr. Met and apologized after their beloved mascot was caught giving fans the one-finger salute during Wednesday's game.

A fan captured the encounter as Mr. Met headed into the tunnel during the 7th inning -- claiming he was just trying to get a high 5 -- but got only 1 digit in return.

The Mets called it an "inappropriate action," and issued an apology saying "we do not condone this type of behavior. We are dealing with this matter internally."

The team later confirmed that the person wearing the costume Wednesday night has been canned from the position.

One thing to note: Mr. Met -- who only has 4 digits on each hand -- doesn't actually have a middle finger. But yeah ... we get the point.

In an obvious response to the intense hate he got for baring his gross feet on TV, Shaquille O'Neal took a trip to the nail shop ... and got a full monster foot makeover.

It was kinda like that scene from "Dumb and Dumber" at first (see below) -- but Shaq decided to end his session with a layer of sparkly toenail polish.

No word on how much he paid the woman for the foot job ... but it wasn't enough!!!

LeBron James says the racist vandalism at his Brentwood home proves one thing -- no matter how much money or fame he has, "Being black in America is tough."

TMZ Sports broke the story ... someone spray painted the n-word across the front gate of Bron's $20 million estate. Cops are hunting for the perpetrator.

LeBron spoke about the incident Wednesday afternoon at a media event for the NBA Finals -- saying his family is safe ... and that's the most important thing.

He also said the incident proves that "racism will always be a part of the world and a part of America."

LeBron also referenced Emmett Till -- the 14-year-old black kid who was brutally beaten to death by racist white people after they accused him of whistling at a white woman.

"I think back to Emmett Till’s mom actually. It’s one of the first things I thought of. The reason she had an open casket was because she wanted to show the world what her son went through as far as a hate crime and being black in America."

James Harden literally went head over heels for Travis Scott's new music video ... teaming up to star in the Houston rapper's visuals for his hit single, "Way Back."

FYI -- the 5-time All Star and Travis are tight ... and were even seen turnin' up together after the Rockets were eliminated from the playoffs.

It's only fitting La Flame enlisted the Beard as the focus for the self-directed vid ... given the hook's lyrics, "James Harden with the range on me n***a way back."

Harden shows off that range by playing 1-on-1 with himself and hanging upside down midair while Travis plays video games in the background.

It's weird ... but in a good way.
