While he's never met Mac himself, it's clear AJ's shaken up over his passing -- explaining people need to realize how big an issue drug addiction really is ... and how to overcome it.
He then tells us about a new detox kit he's working on that he says will help people kick drugs safely ... particularly, opioids. AJ says his kit includes non-narcotic medication -- unlike other drugs often used in opioid treatment, like methadone -- that won't get 'em hooked.

Mac Miller Sources Claim ... Mac Miller's Home Cleaned After Drug OD
Mac Miller's house did not look like the backdrop for a drug binge ... but that's exactly what cops think went down.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, they only found a tiny amount of white powder when they searched the home for clues as to how Mac died. They also believe, based on conversations with witnesses and other evidence ... the house was almost swept clean, so there was no evidence of drug use.
Cops believe Mac OD'd on drugs, and our law enforcement sources say it makes no sense to them that someone who consumed a fatal dose would have the foresight to scrub the house of pill bottles, illegal drugs as well as drug paraphernalia on the off chance they might die.
What's more ... people were at Mac's house both Thursday night and Friday ... around the time someone called 911.
Cops say no one has said they saw Mac alive after Thursday night.
And, our sources are well aware the 26-year-old had struggled with substance abuse. TMZ broke the story ... Mac was arrested for DUI and hit and run last May. Ironically, police found Mac at his home -- the same home where he died -- and the rapper confessed to drunk driving. He tested twice the legal limit.
TMZ broke the story ... Mac was pronounced dead at his home Friday at around noon.
The official cause of death will be determined by the L.A. County Coroner after toxicology tests are performed.

It all went down on the set of "The Longest Yard" (the 2005 one) ... where Romo tells us the then 69-year-old Reynolds had to beg one of the best linebackers in college football history to run him over for the movie's crucial scene.

"And, guess who has to tackle him? Brian Bosworth!"
You gotta hear Romo tell the tale from here ... so watch the video now.

Florida State Honoring Burt Reynolds ... With Helmet Decals!
The Florida State University football team will pay tribute to one of their own -- Burt Reynolds -- by wearing special helmet decals this weekend honoring the late actor.
Reynolds played halfback at FSU back in the '50s -- and was a proud supporter of the Seminoles football team over the years.
The 82-year-old actor died Thursday after suffering a heart attack -- and when FSU takes the field on Saturday against the Samford Bulldogs in Tallahassee ... they'll all be sporting some sort of BW-inspired decal near the legendary arrowhead.
Reynolds was a scholarship athlete at FSU -- and in his 1st season with the Noles, ran for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns on 16 carries.
He was supposed to blow up his next season -- but a couple of knee injuries (along with a bad car accident) slowed him down.
Don't feel too bad ... he found acting and that worked out.
