As the story goes -- Julianne sold her Nashville condo and is moving into the digs Ryan bought. But sources who know the situation tell TMZ ... he has not bought her anything as a parting gift -- nada.

But Ryan did buy her something before the breakup ... we broke the story Julianne apparently left her car door unlocked in a parking garage and someone stole $100,000 worth of jewelry Ryan bought for her.

Steven Tyler's House Worker Badly Hurt In Nasty Fall

Published | Updated

A construction worker was badly injured after falling from Steven Tyler's house this morning, plunging several stories ... before getting airlifted to a hospital -- and TMZ has video of the rescue.

A neighbor tells us ... the worker plunged from scaffolding on the back of the 4-5 story building, which is built into the side of a steep hill -- making the roof even further from the ground below.

When he hit the ground, we're told the man couldn't move and was screaming in agony.

Steven wasn't home when it happened around 9:30 AM -- according to his rep, the singer's been traveling overseas.

We're told the large-scale construction project on his house has been going on for several months, and Steven regularly checks up on its progress.

So far, the exact condition of the worker -- around 30 years old -- is unclear ... but we're told he's in bad shape.

Chris Brown Yup, I Graffitied My Own House

Published | Updated

MYSTERY SOLVED!!! Just as we suspected, Chris Brown is the artist behind the weird graffiti murals in front of his Hollywood Hills home ... the same renegade artwork that just got him in trouble with the City of L.A..

As we reported, Chris was cited last week for having "unpermitted and excessive signage" outside his home ... after his neighbors complained to their councilman.

We couldn't confirm initially whether Chris was the artist behind the paintings ... until now. The photos were snapped on April 26th, and the graffiti is still there. Which is a problem. Because if Chris doesn't remove the paintings soon, he'll be fined.

In addition to a possible fine, Chris has already been charged $376.32 by the City just to pay for the inspector that was sent to his house. That bill will increase to $1,176 if Chris doesn't pay within 30 days.

Tick, tock ...

Gwyneth Paltrow Gate Rights Advocate

Published | Updated

Gwyneth Paltrow looks down at her neighbors ... from a gate that's illegally high ... so says a pissed-off homeowner who's filed a complaint over her above-it-all entrance.

TMZ has learned ... one of Gwyneth's Brentwood neighbors claims she and hubby Chris Martin built a 9-foot-tall gate in front of their mansion -- WAY ABOVE the legal limit of 6 feet -- and it's an eyesore.

The angry neighbor says no other residents -- including fellow celebs Harrison Ford, Oliver Stone, and Courtney Thorne-Smith -- have gates over 6 feet tall, so why should Gwyneth?

The L.A. City Department of Building and Safety confirmed that it's investigating, and Gwyneth will have 45 days to fix any violations ... or face more than $900 in fines.

About the cost of a shirt on GOOP.

Bijan's Famous Mansion SOLD! To Fan of Gaudy Real Estate

Published | Updated

Bad news for lovers of mustard yellow paint ... Bijan Pakzad's famously gaudy Beverly Hills mansion is officially off the market ... TMZ has learned.

Bijan was famous for owning "the most expensive store in the world", located on Rodeo Drive (where else?) and his pad was just as pricey ... it hit the market last June for $12 million.

But our real estate sources tell us ... after 10 months on the market and 140 showings -- real estate guru David Kramer sold the digs to an affluent L.A. buyer for $9.8 million.

So what do you get for all that green? 6 bedrooms, 12 baths, a $200,000 chandelier made entirely of Bijan perfume bottles, landscaped pool oasis, guest house and a 22-car-garage.

Oh, and lots of mustard yellow paint ... yum.

Ashton Kutcher Cops Called to LA Home Thanks to Scaredy-Cat Pal

Published | Updated

Police showed up to Ashton Kutcher's house ready to defend the actor from a home intruder ... only to realize it was ANOTHER false alarm ... but this time swatters were not to blame.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops rushed to Ashton's L.A. digs around 5:30 AM earlier this week after a friend (who was crashing at his pad) heard a scary noise, thought there was an intruder and pressed the panic alarm on the security system.

We're told cops arrived and searched AK's entire property, but found everything to be kosher -- there were no signs of a break-in or home invaders.

Ashton was not home at the time.

As TMZ previously reported ... it's not the first time cops have made a run to the Kutcher crib. AK was "swatted" last year after a prankster told police there was a gun battle in his house.

Chris Brown Graffiti Scofflaw

Published | Updated

Seems like Chris Brown has pissed off a whole new batch of neighbors, and he didn't even have to savagely beat anyone ... all he had to do is some serious tagging.

Chris' Hollywood Hills home is now bedazzled with huge graffiti murals. Chris is a talented artist and the works have markers that make it look like he did it himself ... but we can't confirm it.

But as pretty as it is ... it ain't sitting well with Chris' neighbors, who called L.A. City Councilman Tom LaBonge, complaining it was a blight on the block.

LaBonge passed it on to L.A. City officials, and Chris was cited for having "unpermitted and excessive signage" on his property. If he doesn't remove the murals STAT ... he'll be fined.

It could be the complaints are the proverbial nuclear fight over how a married couple squeezes a toothpaste tube. In other words, there are deeper problems ... in this case we've learned neighbors are royally pissed off at the loud parties Chris throws at all hours of the night. They've also had it with cars speeding up and down the street.

We reached out to Chris. So far no word back.

Magic Johnson SWATTED But Cops Smelled B.S.

Published | Updated

Magic Johnson has just been swatted ... but this one is RADICALLY different from all the others ... because the LAPD is clearly hip to the prank now ... TMZ has learned.

Someone placed the electronic 911 call within the last hour ... claiming multiple shots were fired at Magic's L.A. home. We're also told the caller claimed the shooters were holding someone hostage.

As for the LAPD's response ... it was anemic compared to prior 911 incidents. We're told only a few patrol cars responded. There were no choppers, no SWAT team, no guns-drawn maneuver.

Apparently the LAPD has now figured out the markers that distinguish swatting from the real deal.

Cops on scene quickly confirmed it was a prank.

'Shark Tank' Star Taylor Swift Got RIPPED OFF in $17 Mil Mansion Deal

Published | Updated

If Taylor Swift seems a little more like a black superhero this morning, it's because she got the SHAFT in her $17 million Rhode Island mansion ... this according to "Shark Tank" star Barbara Corcoran.

Barbara -- a stone cold PIMP in the New York real estate scene -- was at a small business summit at the Omni in D.C. when we asked if Swift got ripped off when she purchased a massive 11k+ square-foot mansion in the Ocean State.

Barbara's response? Let's just say this shark can bite.

Chris Tucker Makes Bank on L.A. Mansion Sale

Published | Updated

Listen up folks, Chris Tucker sold his L.A. mansion for almost a $1 million profit ... do you understand the words that are coming out of our mouth??? ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

The "Rush Hour" star purchased the 6,399-square-foot digs way back in 1996 ... right around the time his career was skyrocketing ... for $1,113,500.

Tucker decided to get rid of the place in 2011, but it took a while to find a buyer. Totally worth the wait though ... considering he sold it at the end of last month for $2.1 million. Cha-ching.

The crib is no joke either ... 5 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, high ceilings, french doors, balconies, pool and spa.

Now if he could just sell 11 more houses ... he could pay of all that tax debt.

Fantasia Barrino I Give Up ... Take My House

Published | Updated

Fantasia Barrino didn't get any bites on her North Carolina mansion, so now she's willing to walk away for zero dollars ... by signing it over to the bank.

Barrino has had long-standing troubles with the home. In 2009, the former "American Idol" winner almost got foreclosed on, but dodged the bullet at the 12th hour. Last April she put the house on the market, with an asking price of $800,000 ... $500,000 less than she paid for it.

According to court docs, Barrino transferred the deed over to the bank in February ... skipping the foreclosure process and jumping right to the part where she loses her home.

There's a certain dignity to that, no?

Maybe Taylor is better at closing the deal than we thought.

Jessica Simpson's Parents Going Halfsies On Jessica's Death Money

Jessica Simpson's parents are splitting the baby in their divorce ... going halfsies on Jessica's massive life insurance policy.

TMZ has obtained the legal docs outlining the terms of Joe and Tina Simpson's divorce -- and Jessica's life insurance policy is just the tip of the iceberg.

Joe and Tina have also agreed to split their interest in Jessica and Ashlee's management fees ... a huge number in itself.

As for the couple's remaining division of property ... here's the breakdown:

Joe gets half of their Sherman Oaks house, all his personal effects and bank accounts, the 2012 Mercedes SLS and 2011 Mercedes S63, and a bunch of stocks ... including Twitter. He also gets $237,285 in an escrow account from the sale of their other L.A. home.

Tina gets the house in Waco, TX, over ten bank accounts, a 2010 Range Rover Sport, 2011 Porsche 997 coupe, and other stuff.

TMZ broke the story ... Joe and Tina's divorce was just finalized after 34 years of marriage.

Gene Simmons I Want My Kids Outta My House

Published | Updated

Who wants to be the children of Gene Simmons? The answer is absolutely everyone, because when Gene gets sick of his kids freeloading at home, he gets them out by buying them their own crib.

Gene's wife Shannon has been house hunting -- checking out this nice $2 million fixer-upper in Sherman Oaks (below) Sunday.

Apparently the digs aren't suitable for 24-year-old Nick and 20-year-old Sophie ... so the search continues.

BTW, as for why the 3,800-sq.-ft. house wasn't right ... the yard just wasn't big enough for their dogs.

Bieber's Neighborhood Hostile Territory For Reality TV Show

Published | Updated

Justin Bieber and his famous neighbors might be in luck ... some of them are really pissed off that a producer is trying to shoot a reality show in their gated community, but we've learned there may be a fatal flaw in the producer's plan.

TMZ has obtained a copy of the rules and regulations for The Oaks of Calabasas Homeowners Association -- and there's a whole section putting the brakes on filming inside the gates.

According to the rules, filming on a lot is only permitted if there's NO impact on the surrounding common area ... in other words, if the producer tries to shoot the comings and goings of Justin, Keyshawn Johnson, Travis Barker, Shanna Moakler, Kourtney Kardashian or the Jackson family ... he'd be squarely violating their right to privacy.

And the kicker ... no film shoots can exceed 5 days in length without prior approval from the Board ... pretty much the nail in the coffin for any reality show.

Shanna Moakler -- one of Bieb's neighbors, tells TMZ, "The reason we are all there is for privacy."

She adds, "I don't care about filming in your home, but a show on the community is in poor taste and invasive."

The HOA will probably agree.
