Charlie Sheen's Dad: His Disease Is Like a Cancer

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen's father, Martin Sheen, says his son has a problem -- and it's as bad as cancer.

"He's an extraordinary man," Martin says of his son to Sky News, "He's doing well, we pray for him. If he had cancer, how would you treat him? This disease of addiction is a form of cancer. You have to have an equal measure of concern and love and lift him up."

Charlie himself doesn't appear too worried -- he was spotted on a yacht date with two "goddesses" Monday night.

Charlie Sheen -- Angry Over 'Major League' Snub

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen's wish for another "Major League" movie isn't just a pipedream -- producers have been working on a script for more than a year. But TMZ has learned one key player's been cut from the flick ... and Charlie ain't too happy about it.

Sources close to the production tell TMZ ... an outline for ML4 was completed in 2010 ... and most of the original cast has already been contacted about roles ... except for Corbin Bernsen.

We're told Bernsen -- who famously played Roger Dorn in the first three "ML" movies -- contacted Morgan Creek productions when he heard the rumblings ... but was told there are currently no plans to include him in a 4th installment.

Bernsen's publicist tells us, “Corbin would LOVE to do another 'Major League' but it doesn’t look like he’s been written into the movie at this point. We’re hopeful he gets written in by the time it’s finalized though."

Sheen -- on the other hand -- tells us he's pretty damn pissed about the snub ... adding, "I would love it for him to be in ... but I ain't the writer or director ... I'm a hired gun ... I'll do my best."

'Number Four' Star -- GF Was Pissed Over Photo Shoot

Published | Updated

"I Am Number Four" star Alex Pettyfer's ex-GF split with him over a risque photo shoot he did with two half-naked models -- but here's the rub ... the shoot occurred MONTHS before they even started dating.

Sources close to the ex-couple tell TMZ, "Glee" star Dianna Agron ended the relationship soon after the pictures were released a couple weeks ago ... in which Alex appears barely clothed with models Lydia Hearst and Leven Rambin.

Problem is -- Alex and Dianna started dating last August ... and he shot the pics over a year ago ... back when he was a single man. Dianna's rep wouldn't comment on the story.

Kids these days.

"Survivor: Redemption Island" contestant Russell Hantz claims he NEVER leaked secrets about the reality series to a fan blog site -- but TMZ has obtained emails between Russell and the fan who posted the show spoilers.

TMZ spoke with Jim Early who admits publishing spoilers about "Survivor: Samoa," and "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" -- which both featured Russell. Some of the leaks include how Russell found an immunity idol -- and revealing Russell made the final 3 ... before the episode aired.

The emails -- from September and October 2009 when "Survivor: Samoa" was airing -- were sent between "The Game" (Jim) and "Hantztankering" (Russell). Hantztankering is the name of a water tank company Russell owns.

Jim says he initially met Russell through a "Survivor" fan site ... and after that "he just started telling me what happened on the show."

Jim claims he's coming forward with the emails because he's angry Russell has falsely accused innocent cast members of being the snitch.

Remember, Russell is on the current season of "Survivor" which premiered this week. Calls to Russell and "Survivor" reps were not returned.

He continues, "I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.”

Michael Lohan I Booked Lindsay on Letterman

Published | Updated

Michael Lohan has revealed HE is the mystery person who booked Lindsay Lohan on "Letterman" this week ... and tells TMZ he only signed her up after getting the green light from Lindsay herself.

In case you haven't heard -- Letterman had to issue a retraction this morning, explaining Lindsay would not be doing the "Top 10" bit on Thursday as they had announced yesterday -- after Lindsay tweeted that she NEVER agreed to do the show.

Letterman's people released a statement explaining how someone "purporting to be a friend of Lindsays" reached out to them and made the booking ... but Dave's camp didn't reveal the name of the friend.

But Michael says he was behind it -- telling TMZ he got the idea after Dave cracked a joke at Lindsay's expense during Friday's "Top 10" ... and Lindsay was into it.

Michael says Lindsay "knew full well" about the booking ... they even discussed transportation from the L.A. studio, where Lindsay would be doing the bit via satellite.

Michael insists everything was going smoothly -- until Lindsay's reps got wind of the appearance and shut it down.

Now, Michael tells us he's pissed -- adding, "Anything positive that I bring into her life ... [her people] try to nix it."

Sheen to Lorre: 'I Will Outlive You'

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen just fired a joking shot back at "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre by saying, "Chuck, I will outlive you. I will piss you off " ... but added, "I miss you, man."

TMZ ran into a very refreshed-looking Charlie in L.A. -- and he seemed completely unfazed by Chuck's not-so-subtle jab at him at the end of last night's "Two and a Half Men."

Charlie also reiterated his urge to get back to work ... telling Chuck, "Get off those other shows. Get back to the one that launched those."

We're sure the "Men" crew feels the same way.

Charlie Sheen No Offense Taken by Parting Shot

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen actually thought the creator of "Two and a Half Men" was extending an olive branch when he took a shot at Charlie's wild lifestyle ... sources connected with C.S. tell TMZ.

Chuck Lorre put a slate up at the end of last night's episode, in which he said, "I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I don't have crazy, reckless sex with strangers. If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really pissed."

On one level it seemed like an act of war. But our sources say Charlie said, "I actually saw it as a nice gesture." Charlie thinks it shows how he has a knack for taking a lickin' but keeps on tickin'.

Nonetheless, Charlie and Chuck are at loggerheads over Chuck canceling 4 of the remaining 8 episodes this season.

'Men' Creator HITS BACK At Charlie Sheen

"Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre has fired back at Charlie Sheen -- making light of the actor's history with drugs, booze and porn stars during last night's show ... and then stating, "If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I’m gonna be really pissed.”

Lorre posted a message in a 2-second slate that ran at the end of last night's "Men" episode -- here's the message in it's entirety:

It's not the first time Lorre has used the slate to weigh in on the Charlie situation -- a few weeks ago, he ran a message that read:

"Do not attempt to replicate what you saw in tonight's episode of Two and a Half Men ... Please keep in mind that we employ a highly-paid Hollywood professional who has years of experience with putting his life at risk. And sadly no, I'm not talking about our stunt man."

Charlie Sheen Controls the Fate of 'Men'

Published | Updated

If Charlie Sheen leaves "Two and a Half Men" ... the show is over ... this according to sources connected to the production.

Our sources say if Charlie doesn't come back, his role will absolutely not be re-cast and Warner Bros. would end production immediately.

As TMZ has been reporting, there's a lot of conflict between Charlie on the one side and Warner Bros., CBS and creator Chuck Lorre on the other.

Charlie says he wants to return to work but is beyond pissed that Warner Bros. has 86'd 4 of the last 8 scheduled episodes this season.

Everyone is braced for the worst, but so far, the show is scheduled to return to production on February 28.

'Two and a Half Men' Crew Furious - Episodes Cut

Published | Updated

The cast and crew of "Two and a Half Men" have just taken a major hit to their bank accounts, because Warner Bros. has just axed 4 of the remaining episodes ... TMZ has learned.

Warner Bros. was supposed to produce 8 more episodes to end the season, but with Charlie Sheen out, it set production behind.

Sources connected with the show tell us ... show creator Chuck Lorre has decided he only wants to produce 4 more episodes when Charlie comes back, and the crew is pissed.

One crew member tells us, "We've been left in the dark and now we have no pay for 4 episodes and all we hear is that Chuck is saying, 'They're not my problem.'"

Sources say Charlie has told people he was willing to work weekends and beyond the scheduled wrap date to make sure all 8 episodes were produced.

As for the schedule, we're told the show will go back into production on February 28. The remaining 4 episodes will be shot on March 4, 11, 18 and 25.

A raspy -sounding Charlie called in to "The Dan Patrick Show" this morning and explained he lost his voice because he tried to go back to work ... and was yelling and banging on the stage door ... but nobody was there.

Sheen explained, "[The execs] said 'You get ready and we'll get ready' ... and I got ready and went back and nobody was there ... I don't know what to tell ya."

He added, "I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it."

In fact, sources connected to the show tell TMZ the plan is for Charlie to get better -- which is why the show went on hiatus in the first place -- and then production will resume on Feb. 28.

Charlie Sheen -- Morality Not My Problem

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen cannot be fired from "Two and a Half Men" for doing drugs, hiring hookers or any of his other antics ... because he doesn't have a "morals clause" in his contract, TMZ has learned.

Sources tell TMZ ... Charlie has never had a morals clause in his contract, which would allow Warner Bros. to fire him if he engaged in improper conduct that reflected badly on the show.

Cocaine and prostitutes would probably meet the criteria for giving C.S. the boot, but sources say Charlie is telling everyone, "That's my personal life. My contract protects me. They can't fire me."

Charlie is saying he wants to go back to work next week, but we're told the show cannot fire back up that quickly.
