Donald Sterling JK, I'm Suing After All

Call him Vlade Divac, 'cause Donald Sterling has flip-flopped once again ... now the disgraced Clippers owner says he WILL sue the NBA for one billion dollars because "I must fight to protect my rights."

Sterling's attorney released a statement saying Donald never wanted to sell the team ... though he never explained why he ever changed his mind in the first place.

"I have decided that I must fight to protect my rights," Sterling said in the statement

"While my position may not be popular, I believe that my rights to privacy and the preservation of my rights to due process should not be trampled. I love the team and have dedicated 33 years of my life to the organization. I intend to fight to keep the team."

Stay tuned ...

Donald Sterling Black People Love Me Tour Continues

Donald Sterling may not like his friends to be seen in public with black people ... but he clearly doesn't practice what he preaches ... because he publicly paraded 2 hot black chicks in Bev Hills.

Sterling and a few extremely attractive women hit up Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills ... a restaurant that -- not coincidentally -- ALWAYS has a paps waiting out front.

The embattled soon-to-be former Clippers owner walked in with the girls, but they walked out with friends ... leaving us to wonder just how many hot chicks Sterling was able to wrangle for the meal.

No shame.

Donald Sterling I Love Black People ... Who Make Delicious Burgers

Donald Sterling is pressing more flesh in the Black community these days than Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Bill Clinton combined -- and his mea culpa tour made a delicious stop today ... for burgers.

Donald Sterling He's Just Over It Dropping $1 Billion Suit Against NBA

Donald Sterling's decided to go quietly after all -- he's reportedly in the process of dropping that $1 BILLION lawsuit against the NBA for forcing him to sell the L.A. Clippers.

Sterling had claimed in the lawsuit -- filed last week -- the NBA booted him based on an illegal recording that painted him as a racist. He was also fighting the $2.5 million fine the league levied against him.

But today his attorney told The Hollywood Reporter ... Sterling is letting it all go, and the suit would be dropped within a couple days.

It's unclear what changed Sterling's mind -- or if there was any sort of financial settlement with the NBA -- but the decision clears the way for the league to approve Steve Ballmer's $2 billion purchase of the Clippers.

Shelly Sterling PHOTOBOMBED!

Shelly Sterling was full-on mobbed by paparazzi as she left Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood Tuesday night ... and she was also epically photobombed by the girls from "Famous in 12."

Shelly has been low-profile since inking a deal last week to sell the L.A. Clippers. So it was a feeding frenzy outside the restaurant when Jameelah, Taliah and Maariyah Artiaga latched onto her like moths to a flame ... and it's hilarious.

The girls are part of a TMZ social experiment ... we moved their family to L.A. from a small town and we're giving them 12 weeks to scheme their way to fame. The show airs Tuesdays on the CW at 8 PM.

So far ... crazy.

Donald Sterling 'Get The F*** Outta Here!'

The always charming Donald Sterling ran a clinic on "How to Win Friends and Influence People" yesterday ... when a photog asked the disgraced Clippers owner how he was doing.

Sterling's response -- well, he basically told our guy to go F himself.

It's not like Donald's got a lot to be happy about these days -- his estranged wife sold his team, he's been banned for life from the NBA and he's being sued by an alleged former employee who claims D.S. subjected her to a bunch of offensive comments.

Hard to believe, right?!

Donald Sterling Sued By Ex-Lover Sexual and Racial Allegations

A former employee of Donald Sterling claims the Clippers owner fired her after she rejected "a stream of racist and sexist taunts." -- this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

Donald Sterling Prays for Forgiveness at Black Church

Donald Sterling sat in a Black church for 2 hours Sunday in South L.A. and pissed off some members of the congregation ... while others seemed willing to at least forgive, if not forget.

Sterling, surrounded by bodyguards (just in case), hit up Praises of Zion Baptist Church -- and sources in the church tell us he sat through the entire service ... though it's unclear if he addressed church members publicly.

Seems strange that Sterling made what amounts to a mea culpa appearance at the predominantly Black church ... since he no longer owns the Clippers (pending NBA approval). Sources connected to Donald tells us the church visit was planned several days before the sale talks began ... so it's even more interesting he went though with it.

We're told about 30 people were in attendance today -- and at least one regular member left with his children as soon as Sterling walked in with his entourage.

On his way out of church, we asked Donald how he felt about Steve Ballmer buying the team -- no verbal response, but watch ... he clearly heard the question. Also, he gets a warm greeting from a church member -- an African-American woman.

V. Stiviano Mocking Black People On Tape 'They Do Stupid S*** Like Buy Rims'

How's this for irony ... V. Stiviano said a bunch of racist stuff about black people -- and TMZ Sports has the footage.

Among the lowlights ...

-- "I don't understand black people. You give them a little bit of money, they don't know what to do with it."

-- "[Black people] just act crazy ... they're like, 'Yo, I wanna put extra rims on top of my rims. And my rims are gonna turn around. I'm gonna call them spinners.'"

The footage was shot back in 2011 as part of a reality show pilot about gold diggers -- V. Stiviano was one of the girls selected to appear ... and in the clip, she rambles on and on about finding a mega-rich guy to settle down with.

The irony ... Stiviano eventually did just that -- and yes, she knew she was being recorded at the time.

Donald Sterling Sues NBA for $1 BILLION

Donald Sterling has filed a lawsuit against the NBA for more than $1 BILLION, claiming he was unconstitutionally bullied out of the league.

Sterling filed a federal lawsuit Friday afternoon ... claiming the NBA booted him from the league based on what he called an illegal recording that was widely publicized ... painting him as a racist.

As you know ... TMZ obtained the recording and posted it on the website.

Sterling also claims the $2.5 million fine was baseless and a violation of antitrust laws.

Shelly Sterling sold the team late Thursday to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion. The deal will almost certainly be ratified by the NBA.

L.A. Clippers Sale Ballmer's $2 Billion Offer 'ALL CASH'

File Under: "You Know You're Rich When" ... YOU CAN MAKE A $2 BILLION CASH OFFER TO BUY AN NBA TEAM ... like Steve Ballmer just did with the Clippers.

Donald Sterling Diagnosed with Alzheimer's

Donald Sterling has Alzheimer's and that's why doctors declared he is incompetent to have a voice in the sale of the L.A. Clippers ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Sources connected with the Sterling family tell TMZ ... the trust agreement that governs the family's ownership of the team provides if 2 qualified doctors determine either Donald or Shelly shows "an inability to conduct business affairs in a reasonable and normal manner" ... they will then be stripped of control over the team.

We're told earlier this month Donald agreed to an examination by 2 prominent neurologists. He underwent extensive tests, including a CT and PET scan. We're told both doctors diagnosed Donald with Alzheimer's and concluded he may have had the disease for as long as 5 years. The doctors both concluded he did not have the ability to conduct the business of the team.

Under the trust agreement ... the doctors' conclusions were enough to strip Donald of control.

Our sources say Donald can appeal the doctors' conclusions to the California Probate Court.

One interesting thing ... TMZ Sports broke the story ... on May 22 Donald signed a letter written to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver relinquishing control of the team to his wife Shelly. It's unclear if Donald's lawyer will now argue the letter is invalid because of Donald's mental incapacity.

The problem for Donald -- if his lawyer argues mental incapacity, under the trust agreement he automatically loses control over the team. So it's a Catch-22 for Donald.

L.A. Clippers SOLD!!!

Shelly Sterling has sold the L.A. Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a whopping $2 billion.

As TMZ Sports reported ... the deal was signed just before midnight Thursday. The NBA must approve the sale, but our sources say NBA commissioner Adam Silver has been well aware of Shelly's negotiations with Ballmer and other potential buyers and will support it.

Donald Sterling has made rumblings he may challenge the sale, but he will almost certainly fail.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Donald gave Shelly sole control over the team -- allowing her to sell it -- and even sent a letter to Silver affirming that Shelly had the reins.

As for Ballmer ... he vowed Thursday night to keep the team in Los Angeles. Ballmer is entrenched in Seattle -- which currently has no NBA team -- and even made a bid to buy the Sacramento Kings and move the team to the Emerald City.

It's pretty remarkable -- just one week ago, it appeared Silver would force an involuntary sale of the team, but Shelly and her lawyer, Pierce O'Donnell, took the initiative to solicit bids and ended up with a buyer pretty much everyone can get behind.

L.A. Clippers Sale Agreement to Be Signed Tonight

Shelly Sterling will sign a deal Thursday night to sell the L.A. Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer ... for $2 billion ... sources familiar with the negotiations tell TMZ Sports.

Contrary to various reports ... the deal has not be signed, but in the last 2 hours Ballmer and Shelly have made "an agreement in principle."

We're told lawyers for both sides are currently hammering out details, and they expect the parties will sign on the dotted line before midnight Pacific Time

Our sources say Ballmer has agreed that he will not move the team from Los Angeles to Seattle ... where he has deep roots. We do not know if that promise is memorialized in the agreement.

LA Clippers Report Team Is Sold ... UNTRUE

A new report by the L.A. Times that the L.A. Clippers have been sold to ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion is not true ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Sources familiar with the negotiations tell us ... Shelly Sterling is in a meeting now -- at the time of this post -- negotiating with Ballmer and several other prospective buyers who have made offers.

We're told Shelly is currently reviewing documents, but no agreement has been struck with anyone.

Our sources say, however, a deal will be finalized by end of business Friday ... and Ballmer is definitely in the running.

TMZ broke the story ... Ballmer is toward the top of Shelly's list and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is aware she is negotiating to sell the team.

NBA Commish Adam Silver BANNING STERLING WASN'T PERSONAL ... It's Just Business.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver tells us ... making the decision to ban Donald Sterling from the league for life was "very difficult" ... but it's business -- and it had to be done.

Silver was out in NYC yesterday when he began talking to TMZ Sports -- which he says has consistently shocked him.
