If Nick Carter really wanted the public to believe him when he told People magazine that alcohol could literally end his life, he probably shouldn't have been pounding booze onstage with Steel Panther at the Key Club the other night.
Granted it was his birthday, but for someone who's battled serious alcohol abuse, you can't claim a "sober" life when you're taking down a shot of 151.

The girl who's been dating AJ McLean for the past month paints an even more depressing picture of the boozy Backstreet Boy -- telling TMZ he's never been fully clean since she's known him.
The chick, Wendy Rice, is the one confronting him in the video posted earlier today -- she tells us during their argument McLean repeatedly told her "I'm an alcoholic."
McLean has a well-documented history of substance abuse.

AJ McLean is a recovering alcoholic -- so it was heartbreaking to see the Backstreet Boy stumbling out of the Key Club last night, appearing to be wasted out of his mind.
As McLean nearly falls into the street, one of his friends calls him out -- right out in the middle of Hollywood -- emotionally confronting the guy who went to rehab for alcohol and cocaine abuse in 2001... and again in 2002.
Witnesses inside the Key Club say they saw McLean taking shots and drinking beers during the show. After the confrontation, McLean's friends forced him into a cab and sent him home.
McLean was reportedly six years sober in 2008. Calls to McLean's rep have not yet been returned.

TheDirty.com was able to get a copy of Sir Charles Barkley's receipt from the Dirty Pretty Rock Bar where Chuck, Jaleel White (aka Urkel) and Michael Strahan partied well into the morning.
Considering how much alcohol they ordered, someone must have helped him compute the perfect 20% tip.

He was real chummy with one paparazzo outside the terminal -- and our photog was real jealous it wasn't him.
Heather Locklear Charged with Crime

Heather Locklear has just been charged with one count of driving under the influence of drugs....prescription medications.
No alcohol and no illegal narcotics were found in Heather's system.
Santa Barbara County Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter tells us they believe the prescription medications found in her system "could have impaired her ability to safely drive a motor vehicle."
Locklear was busted September 27.

It turned into a s**t show outside Key Club last night when Bam Margera and his completely obliterated friend let loose on the Sunset Strip, and ended up rolling around half naked on concrete in a random bar parking lot.

Dick Busted on Sex Charges Outside Chicken Joint

Wacked out crazy comedian Andy Dick was arrested early this morning in Murrieta, Calif. on suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery.
Cops busted the 42-year-old Dick just before 2 AM this morning in the parking lot near a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.
Dick is still being held, his bail set at $5,000.
UPDATE: Around 1:15 AM this morning cops tell us they responded to a report of a person peeing in the parking lot outside the wing joint, causing a disturbance. Several witnesses told officers Dick approached two women as he left the restaurant. He allegedly walked up to a 17-year-old girl, grabbed her tank top and bra and pulled them down, exposing her breasts.
Cops found Dick in the passenger seat of a van and arrested him. When he was searched, they say they found weed and one Xanax in his front pants pocket.
Applegate Saddened Over BF Death

Christina Applegate is speaking out about her boyfriend, Lee Grivas who was found dead from an apparent drug overdose this week.
Applegate issued a statement to E! News saying, "I am profoundly saddened, Lee was an incredible human being who was an extremely important and beautiful part of my life. He is missed beyond words."
Results of an autopsy and toxicology test are still pending.

DMX was arrested in Arizona this morning, as he exited a flight from Fort Lauderdale. The rapper currently has two outstanding warrants in Phoenix. Three-peat!
Sheriff Joe Arpaio -- aka America's Toughest Sheriff -- tells TMZ that DMX "never learns his lesson" and hopes to get the rapper into a pair of pink underwear in his Tent City jail. Lovely thought.
X was busted June 27 after he allegedly tried to buy drugs from an undercover officer. He was also busted on June 23, May 9 and May 7.

Don Imus would have a bloody field day with this one: DMX got arrested ... for the third time since May.
He was popped in Miami yesterday for driving without a valid driver's license, according to the local po-po. Why he would do this after getting collared in Arizona on a suspended license just a month ago is anyone's guess. Of course, he then got nabbed three days later in 'Zona for animal cruelty and felony drug possession charges.

That was quick! The L.A. County District Attorney has rolled up and thrown out drug charges against Warren G and buddy Ryan Butler.
The D.A. tells us there's "insufficient evidence"to link the two men to the cheeba cops found in the trunk as the car was not registered to either one of them.

It was a clear black night, a clear white moon, Warren G was on the streets -- then got arrested for possession of A LOT of marijuana.
G, real name Warren Griffin III, and a man named Ryan Butler were pulled over for running a red light around 2 AM PT this morning in Hollywood. Butler was driving. When cops searched the car, they found enough marijuana to arrest both men for possession of narcotics with intent to sell!
Warren and Butler posted $20,000 bail each and were released at around 9 AM this morning.
Calls to Warren's reps have yet to be returned.

DMX was busted again this morning at his home in Arizona -- and the sheriffs tell us he barricaded himself in his bedroom when they came to get him!
DMX was arrested at 3:00 AM at his home in Cave Creek on seven misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and four felony drug possession charges. During a search of his home, cops found more than they bargained for -- including a number of weapons and drugs, as well as five pit bull puppies -- and filed additional charges against him.
According to Sheriff Arpaio, DMX attempted to barricade himself in his bedroom at the time of the search warrant but eventually came out, offered no further resistance, and was booked. And how's this for weird? The dogs were taken to the First Avenue Jail, where they will remain under the care of female inmates.
'CSI' Star Popped for Heroin, Coke, Ecstasy

"CSI's" Gary Dourdan was busted in Palm Springs yesterday on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the actor was asleep in his car at 5:21 AM when they approached the vehicle and made the bust.
We're told Dourdan was taken to Palm Springs jail where he posted $5,000 and bailed out.
