Desiigner Off the Hook in Drug Arrest

Desiigner can finally put his NYC drug arrest behind him ... the final charge for possession will effectively go away, and his record will be cleared.

The D.A. moved to seal the case and dismiss the charge Tuesday in court. Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... this was a face-saving move by authorities who avoided simply dropping the charge ... after previously dropping the other charges in his September arrest.

He'd initially been hit with intent to sell, menacing and possession of a loaded gun, but investigators never found a gun and the drugs turned out to be steroids -- most likely prescribed to the driver of Desiigner's SUV that night.

Bottom line for Desiigner: his name will be fully cleared.

He wasn't in court Tuesday. His attorneys, Ian Niles and Stacey Richman, were and told TMZ ... "We're happy he's been exonerated ... and happy with the investigation from the D.A."

Kate Major Gets 6 Months in Jail After Alleged Cop Attack

Kate Major's gonna pay BIG for her arrest last month -- a judge is locking her up for the next 6 months ... TMZ has learned.

Michael Lohan's estranged wife was sentenced Monday for violating probation. Her October arrest in Florida for attacking a cop triggered the violation ... according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Kate was already on probation for a 2015 incident in New Orleans when she allegedly got wasted on a plane and threatened the crew. Sources close to Kate tell us she asked for rehab instead of jail time but got shut down.

When she gets out of jail, Kate will still face assault, and drunk and disorderly charges for the alleged cop attack.

Jonas Brothers Baby Bro Busted For Pot

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas' little brother allegedly got caught red-handed this week with some illegal green on him in Nashville.

Frankie Jonas -- the "Bonus Jonas Brother," who's 16 -- was cited for possession of marijuana Tuesday night according to our Nashville sources. We're told he got picked up outside of a convenience store.

Sources close to the fam tell us Frankie's a good kid who's always kept his nose clean. He's actually graduated high school already and is taking college courses. We're told he's extremely remorseful about the bust.

Boys will be boys ... even Jonas boys.

Fun fact: Nashville passed a city measure in September reducing penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana. Good timing, Frankie.

3 Doors Down Ex-Guitarist Arrest Made in Overdose Death

Cops have arrested a doctor in connection with the death of former 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts.

Roberts died from a prescription drug overdose and West Bend, Wisc. Police believe the source of the drugs was an Alabama physician -- Dr. Richard Snellgrove. He's now been indicted for illegal drug distribution.

Snellgrove reportedly prescribed 5 different controlled substances in the names of different individuals, but prosecutors allege the intended recipient for all the meds was Roberts.

TMZ broke the story ... Roberts died in August at the age of 38.

Rocco Ritchie Weed Bust Surfaces

Madonna's son, Rocco, has been arrested in London for possession of weed ... but the arrest flew under the radar for nearly 2 months.

TMZ has confirmed, London police arrested the 16-year-old for possession of cannabis on Sept. 28th. He reportedly incurred the wrath of neighbors who were bothered by what they believed was drug use in their upscale neighborhood when the boy lives with his dad, Guy Ritchie.

According to reports, cops were called and saw Rocco and a friend sitting on a wall with a friend. They claim he tossed something in the air, but they found a small quantity of weed in his backpack and traces on his clothing.

Rocco moved away from his mom almost a year ago to live with his dad in London. She objected, claiming Guy was too permissive and it triggered a nasty court battle. He was seen back in April hanging with friends, and smoking what appeared to be a joint.

Rocco's already been sentenced. He attended a drug ed class.

Steve Francis Wearing $1 MILLION Necklace ... During DWI Arrest

Steve Francis was BALLIN' OUT during his drunk driving arrest -- claiming he was wearing a $1 MILLION chain when cops took him into custody ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

As we previously reported, the ex-NBA star was popped for DWI in Houston on Saturday night -- and allegedly threatened revenge on the arresting officers.

He was taken to a nearby police station where he was booked -- and while there, cops noted the "property" he had on him at the time ... which included a bunch of weed.

According to the police report, Francis' chain was a "yellow metallic necklace with 'M'" ... valued at $1,000,000. We're told the value was provided to the police by Francis himself.

Cops say he also had 21.92 grams of weed with paper rolls ... which seems a lot to most people but as one stoner in our office put it, "It wouldn't get Snoop out of bed in the morning."

The police report also lists Francis as 6'3", 220 lbs ... about 25 pounds heavier than his playing weight.

BTW, Francis reportedly made more than $100 MILLION during his NBA career ... so yeah, he can afford a million dollar chain.

Mizzou Football Freshman Phenom RB Arrested Hours After Breaking School Records

Missouri running back Damarea Crockett -- one of the best (if not THE best) freshmen running backs in the country -- was arrested Sunday morning ... after a record-setting performance just hours before.

After putting up 225 YARDS on Tennessee on Saturday (breaking the Mizzou freshman single season rushing record and single game rushing record) ... cops say the 18-year-old was busted smoking weed in a campus parking lot.

He was taken into custody around 4:17 AM on Sunday morning for possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

As one law enforcement source put it -- students often go to this particular parking lot to smoke weed. An officer was doing a routine check and saw the fire from the smoking session inside of Crockett's car.

Chad Moller, the Associate Athletic Director at Mizzou, said the team is "aware of the incident and are handling it internally."

Mizzou is set to take on Arkansas on Friday -- no word if Crockett will suit up.

Steve Francis Popped for Drunk Driving, Weed ... Allegedly Threatened Revenge

Ex-NBA superstar Steve Francis was arrested for drunk driving in Houston over the weekend ... and cops say he was a pain in the ass during the bust and vowed revenge on the arresting officers.

The former Houston Rockets star was initially pulled over in a black 2017 Chevy Tahoe on Saturday for doing 88 in a 65 around 11:20 PM -- but during the stop, cops noticed he reeked of booze.

We're told Francis was "verbally abusive" to the officer.

Cops say the 39-year-old refused a field sobriety test -- and more cops were called to the scene because Francis was uncooperative.

Our law enforcement sources tell us Francis made comments essentially warning the officers that he would get revenge for the arrest.

During the incident, cops also found weed.

Francis was eventually taken into custody and charged with DWI, possession of marijuana and retaliation.

Ex-'RHOC' Son Busted for Jailhouse Booze ... No Pruno For You!!

The son of former 'RHOC' star Lauri Peterson got busted -- while already behind bars -- for hoarding prison wine in his cell, so now he's facing a new felony.

Law enforcement tells us ... Joshua Waring had the alcoholic beverage -- known as "pruno" in the can -- stashed in his bunk at an Orange County jail. We're told he's been charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility.

Waring's in lockup awaiting trial for attempted murder, and is also facing a lawsuit from the man he allegedly shot.

Fun fact: Pruno is made with fruit, ketchup, sugar, milk and bread ... and is commonly mixed in toilet bowls. Before you whip some up for a holiday party -- it's been described as bile flavored.

The rapper got roasted for Russell Simmons' first-ever "All Def Roast." It all went down Wednesday night at the Avalon in Hollywood, and French Montana, T.I., Michael Rapaport, Wiz Khalifa, and Christina Milian were among the celebs enjoying the burn.

Alshon Jeffery Tests Positive for PEDs ... Gets 4 Game Suspension

More bad news for the Chicago Bears ... star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has been suspended for 4 games after testing positive for PEDs.

A rep for the NFL says, "Alshon Jeffery of the Chicago Bears has been suspended without pay for the team’s next four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances."

"Jeffery’s suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to return to the Bears’ active roster on Monday, December 12 following the team’s December 11 game against the Detroit Lions."

Ex-Oregon Ducks Star Arrested for Drugs ... Tragic Mug Shot

Ex-Oregon Ducks football star Cliff Harris -- a former All-American kick returner -- was arrested for drugs early Sunday morning ... and it's clear his life is completely off the rails.

The 25-year-old was a stud back in 2010 -- when he was one of the most dynamic players in college football as a returner and CB and helped the Ducks win another PAC-12 championship.

But he was dismissed from the program in 2011 -- and his draft stock plummeted. He signed a contract with the Jets in 2013 but was quickly waived after he was busted for weed.

Now, officials say Harris was arrested around 1 AM on Sunday for theft, drug possession and possession of paraphernalia.

Officials also say he violated his probation -- stemming from a 2015 incident in which Harris set fire to a grassy median in Fresno, CA.
