Gordon Ramsay faces a really expensive restaurant bill ... and we're not talking $300 for foie gras and sturgeon. We're talking about a $45k bill for stuff you can't even eat.

Ramsay hired a company to trick out Fat Cow, his extremely popular restaurant at The Grove in L.A.. Gordon clearly doesn't settle for Kenmore appliances. The range, fryers, countertops, shelving, dishwashers, exhaust hoods, exhaust ducts, fridges, and other accoutrements totaled $191,235.24.

According to a lawsuit filed by the company that outfitted the joint, Gordon paid some of the bill but not all -- there's a pesky $45,350.35 balance which allegedly has gone unpaid.

So Gordon is going to court, where the cafeteria food is abysmal. Trust us.

If Alex Rodriguez wants to lounge in the sun while his teammates play baseball ... Artie Lange thinks A-Rod needs to spend some of his $29 million salary on a round of beers -- for all of Yankee Stadium!

We're exaggerating a little, but Artie -- a die-hard Yankees fan -- is definitely pissed about the photos of A-Rod and his gf Torrie Wilson sunbathing in Miami while he's out of the lineup ... rehabbing his injured hip.

You gotta see Artie's rant about A-Rod's astronomical salary and how much it's costing fans. It starts like this -- "Just imagine you're a forklift operator who makes $35,000 a year and you've got an enormously fat son that you like taking to Yankee games" ... and you gotta buy 4 hot dogs for him.

Artie goes off ... and you gotta hear it in his words. It is HYSTERICAL!

And by the way, Artie does have a way for A-Rod to make it up to the fans. It involves ... a bodega and rape.

Frank McCourt is covering his bases for today's legal battle with ex-wife Jamie McCourt ... he dined last night with a priest.

Frank was at Toscana restaurant in Brentwood with a very hot young woman and the man of the cloth.

So the questions:

1. Since we've seen Frank with this woman before, we were wondering if he's tying the knot again -- with the help of the priest.

2. If he's not getting hitched again, was he looking for some divine intervention to torpedo Jamie's claim that Frank screwed her out of hundreds of millions of bucks by undervaluing the Dodgers.

3. How does Frank feel about what Magic Johnson said -- that he'd support and protect a member of the Dodgers who came out of the closet?

Robert Griffin III's amazing rookie season ended with a horrific knee injury, but the Washington Redskins' superhuman QB looks ready for action again -- and claims he'll be even BETTER next year.

RGIII -- who showed no signs of a limp last night outside of Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills -- said he's "feeling good" and brushed off the injury ... reminding us the torn ACL he suffered in college was way worse.

When our camera guy pumped up RGIII telling him he'd be just as good this coming season -- Griffin shot back, "I'll be better."

Former POTUS and peanut farmer Jimmy Carter has VERY specific taste when it comes to his nut butters ... and you'll never guess what it is.

Kim Kardashian was faced with a choice the likes of which haven't been faced since Sophie -- papas or paparazzi.

Kim joined her sisters for what was supposed to be a delicious lunch at Casa Vega in the Valley Thursday ... but the pesky pappers were blocking her entrance and wouldn't follow instructions to "MAKE A HOLE!"

As the smells of the fried burritos and chimichangas wafted to her waiting SUV, Kim made the hardest decision since agreeing to let Ray J really have his way ... She left.

The Game told a $5,750 bald-faced lie about dropping a massive tip on a waiter -- at least according to the waiter himself ... TMZ has learned.

First, Game's version of what went down. The rapper had an Easter Sunday meal at Capital Grille in West Hollywood ... and then tweeted about leaving a $6,000 tip for his waiter, Eme Ikwuakor.

But now Ikwuakor wants to clear up a few things ... as in a few less zeros on his gratuity.

According to the waiter ... Game handed him a large bundle of cash, and then snapped the photo (above) ... which went out to Game's 1.1 million Twitter followers.

Ikwuakor admits he consented to the pic, and appreciated Game's Twitter shout out -- but says the actual tip was only $250.

Not that he's complaining ... in fact, Ikwuakor says Game and his fam were great customers and the $250 was "very generous and much appreciated."

He's assuming the $6k was just a practical joke ... though we doubt the IRS would be laughing.

Two women have filed a lawsuit, claiming they were drugged and raped by employees of one of the hottest restaurant/bars in Hollywood -- The Abbey.

The club has been a fixture in West Hollywood for more than 15 years. According to the lawsuit ... a gay woman who says she had never had sexual relations with a man was at The Abbey with her girlfriend in November, 2011. She says she and her GF had a fight, which upset the alleged victim. She ordered a drink at the bar and claims it was laced with a date rape drug.

The woman then claims she became impaired and a busboy allegedly took her outside and raped her.

Another woman -- who is straight -- claims she went to The Abbey in April, 2011, and was served a drink that was also allegedly laced with a date rape drug. She alleges an undocumented worker at The Abbey then took her across the street to his car and raped her.

The women claim owners of The Abbey either knew or should have known that employees were allegedly slipping patrons drugs and then sexually assaulting them.

In the lawsuit -- filed by Beverly Hills lawyer Robert Hirsh -- each woman is asking for more than $10 million.

A bunch of farmers want to crush Matthew Perry's "Field of Dreams" -- as in the famous baseball diamond -- because they think it will end their dreams ... of crop dusting.

Just last month, the former "Friends" star joined an investment group (Go the Distance Baseball, LLC) that is planning to build a national youth baseball and softball tournament and training campus on land next to the field made famous by Kevin Costner's movie.

But locals are crying foul -- the Residential & Agricultural Advisory Committee thinks the project will prevent farmers from hauling manure ... and make it next to impossible to move farming vehicles and complete aerial spraying ... aka crop dusting.

They also think increased traffic will cause noise pollution in the area.

Now the group has fired off a letter to Perry claiming, "It is no exaggeration to say that our very way of life is at risk."
