Dakota and Elle Fanning looked like they were auditioning for a role in a remake of Stephen King's "The Shining" at Wednesday night's Saint Laurent fashion show in Hollywood.

It's a good pic, if only because they're rarely photographed together.

The sisters are separated by 4 years -- Dakota's 21 and Elle's 17 -- but who can tell under all that eyeliner?

Past Lennon items have gone for way more than that: his '65 Rolls Royce Phantom V sold for $2.23 MILLION, and Lennon's handwritten lyrics to "All You Need is Love" fetched $1.25 million.

Johnny Weir's defaced orange Birkin is looking as good as new after finally getting its court-mandated spot treatment.

Weir's ex Victor had tagged a giant "F--- YOU" across the Hermes bag in black marker during their nasty split.

In their divorce settlement, Victor got the Faberge egg and the Birkin ... with one string attached. He was required to remove the "F--- YOU" ... presumably so it could not be associated with Johnny.

The court docs laid out specific instructions for the hand-off and restoration, including a stipulation that Victor cannot use Johnny's name if he resells the bag.
