Livvy Dunne, LSU Gymnasts Attract Crowd At Raising Cane's!!! ... After 1st NCAA Title

Livvy Dunne's apparently popular both on the balance beam AND behind a cash register ... drawing a crowd on Tuesday while making a promotional appearance at a Raising Cane's.

The LSU gymnastics star hit up the eatery in Baton Rouge, La. with her gymnastics teammates Kiya Johnson, Haleigh Bryant, Savannah Schoenherr and Aleah Finnegan to celebrate their first national championship victory ... and Tigers fans came out to show love.

WELCOME TO RAISING CANE'S!!!

21-year-old Dunne was all smiles as she handed off tendies and fries to hungry LSU supporters while behind the register. She even took over the drive-thru at one point ... and introduced herself to a bunch of customers, something she says she was actually super excited to do.

Oklahoma Softball Team Smashes 13 Homers In 29-0 Beatdown ... NCAA Record!!!

WHAMMY! WHAMMY! WHAMMMMMMMMMMMY!!!!

The Oklahoma Sooners women's softball team kicked off its season with a BANG -- hangin' 29 runs on UTEP in the greatest college power-hitting display of all-time -- blasting 13 HOME RUNS in the process!!

Yeah, that's an NCAA record!

... and get this, the game was stopped in just 5 innings thanks to the NCAA's mercy rule -- so, who knows how many dingers the Sooners woulda hit!

Here's how it played out ... #4 ranked Oklahoma started things off Thursday with an insane 1st inning -- exploding for 13 runs!! And then hit just keep on coming!

In total, 7 different Sooners players went deep ... including freshman Tiare Jennings and junior Grace Lyons, who each hit 3!!!

FYI, the previous NCAA softball single-game home run record was 10 -- shared by BYU (2008) and UTSA (2004).

The Sooners pitching was strong too, earning a shoutout. Redshirt senior Giselle Juarez set the tone early with 6 strikeouts in 3 innings.

The game was part of the 2021 Miner Invitational -- where the Sooners already have 2 wins, including a 9-0 victory over Abilene Christian.

Congrats to the Sooners ... BEASTS!!!!!!

Lena Dunham Too Bad, So Sad ... I Got a New House :(

Lena Dunham better buy a lot of Kleenex ... she threw down nearly $2.7 million for a new pad in L.A. -- you know, the same city that makes her super depressed.

Dunham told Vogue last year that L.A. just wasn't her bag -- but she's clearly had a change of heart. She bought a 2,500 sq. ft. 3-bed, 3-bath house just off the Sunset Strip.

Her first big ticket West Coast crib includes a swank guest house and pool. The "Girls" creator normally comes to L.A. once a year to edit the show, but looks like she's prepping to suffer on a more regular basis.

Home is where the tears are.

'Girls' Star Zosia Mamet Much-Mocked Kickstarter Fizzles At $2,783

Zosia Mamet is enjoying a cultural moment as one of HBO's "Girls" ... but NOBODY WANTS A CRAPPY MUSIC VIDEO from Shoshanna and her bad-banjo-playing sister ... we know, because their Kickstarter campaign just ended -- and it BOMBED.

The HUGELY MOCKED effort -- which closed today just before 1:00 PM PT -- raised the pathetic sum of $2,783. That's less than 10% of their goal of $32,000 ... and Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing deal ... so they get NOTHING.

Zosia and younger sister Clara announced the video May 26 ... and the Internet trolling was INTENSE ... especially because the self-styled Cabin Sisters say they started the banjo-and-body-percussion band as "an excuse to spend more time together." It didn't help that the girls share a famous father and make TV-star salaries (Clara is on ABC's "The Neighbors).

Some thought the tone-deaf plea was a prank ... meant to call out Zach Braff, Kristen Bell and others for milking Kickstarter ... but TMZ confirmed with reps -- the girls were serious.

Braff and Bell proved that a good idea can BLOW UP on Kickstarter ... Braff's "Wish I Was Here" raised $3,105,473, and the "Veronica Mars" movie raised a whopping $5,702,153.

The Mamet sisters' highest pledge was $100 ... and nobody TOUCHED any of the 7 higher price points ... in all, only 80 people backed the widely publicized project -- most pitching in a buck.

Too bad they can't keep the dough they DID raise ... enough to buy a couple of sad trombones.
