Trevor Donovan is fed up with “greedy breeders” who are too cheap to test dogs for a disease that leaves the animals’ hind legs paralyzed ... a disease his own German Shepherd is battling.
TMZ caught up with Trevor when the actor was out with his pups, Dogbert and Tito. Dogbert suffers from degenerative myelopathy -- a progressive disease of the spinal cord.
The "90210" alum told us the disease is totally preventable, but he's pissed because too many breeders pass on a simple lab test.
He showed us how it's affecting Dogbert -- he's already dragging his hind legs, but Trevor's hooked him up with special booties.

Demi Lovato Out of Hospital ... In Rehab Facility
Demi Lovato is getting treatment at a rehab facility where she will remain for an extended period of time ... TMZ has learned.
Sources close to Lovato tell us she was discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Saturday and took a private plane to the facility, which is outside California.
The rehab center is one of the nation's leading facilities for addiction.
TMZ broke the story ... Lovato's team has a plan set in place to scrub the negative people and "yes men" who contributed to Demi's downhill spiral. We're told they enabled her and fueled her addiction for months before the OD that almost killed her.
Demi addressed the OD for the first time Sunday, saying, "I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I've learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet."
We're told there's no current time frame for her rehab stint, but that it will be for an "extended" period -- at least 30 days.

BTW, we're told one friend in particular is on the hit list.
Our sources say Demi will also be advised to get a new phone number and only give it out to trusted advisers and friends ... and keep negative people at bay.
We broke the story ... Demi's agreed to go to rehab as soon as she's out of the hospital and already has plans with the live-in facility set up.

Demi Lovato Assistant Screamed, 'She's Dead!!!' ... Bodyguard May Have Saved Her Life
Demi Lovato was in such dire condition when she OD'd her assistant thought she was dead, and one of her bodyguards may have saved her life ... TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, the bodyguard somehow knew there was an emergency at Demi's home a week ago Tuesday morning, and when he entered the home Demi's assistant was screaming, "She's dead, she's dead!"
We're told the bodyguard rushed to Demi's side and it appeared she was not breathing. Our sources say there was blood on her pillow ... an ominous sign, because it's evidence of hemorrhaging. It appears there was also vomit and her airways may have been clogged.
Our sources say the bodyguard administered some sort of first aid to keep Demi alive before paramedics arrived. Based on what we're told it appears the bodyguard propped Demi up and tried clearing her airway which allowed her to breathe.
As we reported ... when paramedics arrived they administered Narcan, which reverses the effects of an opioid OD.
Our sources say the bodyguard, the assistant and others on Demi's team were aware she had fallen off the wagon months before. As early as Coachella in April, we're told Demi was "way out of it" at French Montana's house party.

We're told she's still at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, but one source says, "She's getting out any day now." Our sources say there will be no transition ... it's right from Cedars to a live-in rehab facility.

As we reported, the situation is so dire, at least one member of her team said they would quit if Demi rejected rehab.

Demi Lovato Leaving Hospital This Week ... Now It's Rehab, or Else
Demi Lovato is doing a lot better and the plan is for her to get out of the hospital this week, but she's now faced with a decision ... go to rehab, or lose a lot of the people close to her.
Sources with firsthand knowledge tell TMZ, Demi has stabilized from her overdose -- an OD that was so bad she was in danger of dying -- and her team is making plans to send her to rehab. The decision is ultimately Demi's, and we're told the people closest to her, along with some of the people who work for her, are going to draw a line in the sand -- either go to a facility for help, or lose our number.
At least one key person who works for Demi tells TMZ, they will quit if she doesn't check herself in. As the source said, "She could die if she doesn't, and that's not going to be on my watch that we did nothing."
Our sources say Demi fell off the wagon months ago and refused help, so everyone around her is nervous. They believe, however, that the OD and the subsequent complications in the hospital have sufficiently scared her that she'll go to a live-in facility for extended treatment.

Lindsay Lohan Reality Show That's a Wrap ... On My Ankle!!!
Lindsay Lohan's new reality show with MTV is already hobbled -- 'cause its star is nursing a bum wheel.
Lindsay was in Mykonos, Greece Monday with a large brace wrapped around her right ankle and foot. It's unclear if she injured herself while filming "Lohan Beach Club" -- the new reality show MTV just announced.
Either way, LiLo doesn't look too comfortable with the foot gear. Hard to tell if or how this might affect production on her reality show. So far, so good ... camera crews were still front and center as she made her way around the club.
Also interesting ... Linds seemed to be walking around just fine in the newly released promo for the show -- which makes us think the injury is recent, and will probably (most definitely) be included as a plot point in at least one of the episodes.
The show will follow Lindsay as she runs her club in Mykonos. Looks like she'll be limping into the office for a while.

Demi Lovato Still Hospitalized 'Complications' 6 Days After OD
Demi Lovato is still at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center ... where she's been since OD'ing on drugs last Tuesday. As for why, we're told Demi is very, very sick.
Sources with firsthand knowledge tell TMZ, she is suffering extreme nausea and a high fever, among other things. We're told these are among the "complications" related to the overdose.
As we reported, Demi's OD was so severe her life was in jeopardy. She was unconscious when paramedics arrived at her house and had to be revived with Narcan -- an antidote to an opioid OD.
Demi would not tell EMTs what drug or drugs she had taken, but it appeared to be some sort of opioid.
Doctors have not decided when Demi can be released from the hospital, but one source said, "She is under the care of medical experts and is expected to make a full recovery."
What we don't know ... whether she's inclined to enter a rehab facility when she's released. We know the people around her want her to go -- she's been on a downhill slide for months -- but ultimately it's Demi's decision.
Demi Lovato Backup Dancer Says It Wasn't Me
The backup dancer who has been attacked online for allegedly bearing some responsibility in Demi Lovato's overdose says she had nothing to do with it.

Dani said, "I was not with Demi when the incident happened, but I am with her now, and will continue to be because she means the world to me just as she does to all of you."
TMZ broke the story ... Demi was with Dani hours before the overdose at the Saddle Ranch restaurant/bar on the sunset strip celebrating the dancer's birthday.

Kanye West Dad Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer
Kanye West's father, Ray West, is battling cancer ... TMZ has learned.

Ray is currently being treated in L.A., and sources say he's responding well. We're being told that, for now, it looks like he's going to be okay.
