Ian McKellen Gandalf's Protecting My Ass
Ian McKellen has magic underwear ... and yesterday, he showed off his special tighty-whities during a theater performance in New York City.
Of course, the face protecting Ian's pooper is Gandalf from "Lord of the Rings" -- the character played by Ian in the LOTR movies.
Fun Fact -- the undies were actually a gift from "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen.

Charlie Sheen Quotes 'Apocalypse Now' Declares War on Brooke, DCFS
Charlie Sheen is using his dad's epic movie, "Apocalypse Now," to underscore his declaration of WAR against Brooke Mueller and the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services.
Charlie tells TMZ ... he will not be muzzled by a gag order or any other admonition. He believes his twins Bob and Max have been grievously damaged by their mom, Brooke Mueller and he thinks DCFS is blindly protecting her at his kids' expense.
Charlie quotes Martin Sheen in the flick, "I am beyond their timid lying morality, therefore I am beyond caring" -- referring to what he considers the tepid actions of DCFS.
Charlie goes on: "What my family and I are forced to deal with in the last 4 years, lives outside the pale of any acceptable conduct or decency. I am battling an amorphous enemy that needs to be swiftly disempowered."
As we first reported, Brooke's people are gunning for Charlie for violating the gag order and going on TMZ Live, calling Brooke a "whore" and the world's worst parent. To that he says, "There is no force, no human, and no scenario in the known universe that will divert my course, my mission in this life."
As for the pictures TMZ posted, showing Bob allegedly before and after a visit with Brooke -- where it looks like his face was injured -- Charlie says he will stop at nothing to get DCFS to do the right thing:
-- "These crimes against my children will be exposed. These war criminals will be hanged at dusk to a cheering and jeering crowd, gathered together in love in support of all children who are mercilessly discarded like garbage by CPS. Which by the way stands for 'CAN'T PROTECT SHITE.'"
Charlie ends with an ominous threat: "The storm is brewing. Their roofs are leaking. I am the Tsunami your mommy warned you about your whole childhood. All of you renegade deplorable pigs are marked for slaughter."

Brandon T. Jackson Inflight Pain In the Ass ... Says Airline
"Tropic Thunder" star Brandon T. Jackson was an obnoxious, drunken a-hole during a flight Monday ... and that's why he was booted from his plane, so says US Airways.
A rep for the airline tells TMZ ... crew members adamantly deny using the N-word during an inflight altercation with the actor, despite the actor's allegations.
As we previously reported, Brandon went on a Twitter rant last night -- claiming a flight attendant hurled racially-charged epithets at him for no reason ... but now, the airline is calling BS.
The rep explains, "The disruptive behavior started with loud music being played by Mr. Jackson at his seat. He was asked several times to turn down the music. Additional erratic behavior was observed and that is when the crew made the decision to stop serving [alcohol to Brandon]."
US Airways says it stands behind the crew -- claiming they handled the situation appropriately.
When Jackson's flight landed in Phoenix (where he was supposed to catch a connecting flight to Burbank) he was escorted off the plane and interviewed by Phoenix PD.
Cops determined no crime was committed and he was allowed to leave -- but US Airways banned him from getting on the plane to BUR.
So far, no word back from Brandon T. Jackson.
'Tropic Thunder' Star FLIGHT ATTENDANT CALLED ME THE N-WORD [Update]
10:14 AM PT -- A rep for the Phoenix Police Dept. tells TMZ ... cops received a call from the airline around 7:30 PM reporting a disruptive and belligerent passenger who had been cut off from alcohol.
We're told ... when police arrived, officers spoke with Brandon and determined no crime had been committed. Brandon, who was supposed to catch a connecting flight to Burbank, was escorted out of the terminal and not allowed to fly on US Airways that night.
Cops say Brandon was cooperative with police.
"Tropic Thunder" star Brandon T. Jackson claims he was escorted off an airplane and questioned by police after flipping out on a flight attendant who called him the n-word.
Jackson -- who also plays Grover in the "Percy Jackson" movies -- says he was on a US Airways flight when a flight attendant named Dee approached him and asked him to sit down.
The two argued -- and Jackson claims the flight attendant said, "I don"t care if you're Obama's son -- get in your seat!!" Jackson says the flight attendant also called him the n-word.
Jackson says he was later escorted off the plane -- and questioned by police in Phoenix. Eventually, he was released and tweeted, "This was the most racist thing that ever happen to me even the white people on the plane was like that racist."
We reached out to US Airways for comment -- so far, no word back.

Pippi Longstocking Porn Movie Studio Cracks Down Stop Using 14-Year-Old to Promote Sex Tape
Images of a 14-year-old Pippi Longstocking have no business on a Pippi Longstocking sex tape website ... and now a major Hollywood movie studio is gearing up for war, TMZ has learned.
We know ... Columbia Pictures, the studio behind "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking," learned that multiple websites associated with the Tami Erin sex tape are using images from the 1988 movie to promote the XXX footage.
Obviously, that ain't sitting well with Columbia ... so lawyers stepped in and fired off an email, warning the websites to take down shots of the freckle-faced red head girl immediately, or face a big, fat lawsuit.
The sites complied for the most part -- removing images of the DVD as well as links to purchase it -- but it still includes many Pippi references, as well as a screenshot from the original movie (in which Tami is 14).
We've learned ... one of the XXX sites responded by adding a disclaimer on the home page, saying the sex tape is not sponsored, endorsed by or affiliated with the studio.
So far, it's unclear how Columbia feels about the compromise.
FYI, you won't believe how popular the Pippi porno websites are -- we're told they both average over 200k views per day. Curiously, the biggest chunk of traffic comes from Sweden.
Bork, bork, bork!

TLC's Manager FURIOUS Over Biopic I Want Retractions!!!
TLC's former manager is LIVID over the new VH1 biopic about the 90s girl group -- telling TMZ, she was wrongly portrayed as a shyster in the movie ... and now she wants the network to make some serious retractions.
Perri "Pebbles" Reid tells us it has taken her more than a week to respond to the movie -- which aired last Monday -- because she was so shell-shocked by the damning lies in the film. She says, "This unprovoked attack has been extremely upsetting to me and my family."
But the real issue -- she tells us, "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" contains "many false and defamatory statements and scenes about me."
If you haven't seen the movie yet, it's not exactly kind toward Pebbles ... portraying her as a shifty parasite who knowingly swindled millions from the group.
But the real Pebbles insists she has never cheated anyone -- let alone the band she "discovered, managed, and mentored" -- and plans to vigorously defend her honor. She says her attorney is already in the process of demanding retractions from VH1.
Calls to VH1 weren't returned.

20th Century Fox Screenwriter -- You Stole My Justin Timberlake Flick!!
A screenwriter claims he's a victim of Hollywood bullies -- and that the movie he wrote that became a Justin Timberlake feature was flat out stolen from him.
Odysseus Lappas filed a lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he claims he wrote a screenplay in 1996 called "Time Card," about a man who lives in a future world where people died at age 25 unless they can purchase more time. Sounds interesting.
He claims it also sounded interesting to 20th Century Fox, which offered him $80k for the rights. He turned the offer down because he wanted to produce and/or direct the film.
Fast forward to 2011, when Fox released the film, "In Time," starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. Lappas says the movie is a ripoff of virtually every element of "Time Card."
"In Time" grossed $37.5 mil. -- not exactly "Titanic."
Lappas wants $4.5 mil. But you know Hollywood, what he really wants is to direct.

'Entourage' Movie It's Gonna Happen!
"Entourage" WILL hit the big screen, because the cast and the producers will all sign on with Warner Bros. as early as today ... TMZ has learned.
As we have previously reported, several people on the show have been holding out for a bigger piece of the action, but everyone has been pointing fingers at each other. Now we know ... the holdouts have been Adrian Grenier and Jerry Ferrara ... this according to sources connected to the production.
Production sources tell us ... Grenier, Ferrara and some other cast members are resentful that Jeremy Piven will be getting a bigger salary and bigger piece of the back end than them, and they've been haggling.
Our sources say Warner Bros. told the cast and producers that it would give a certain amount of back end, and it was up to them to figure out who gets what. Our sources say the wheeling and dealing is just about over and lawyers from all sides are trying to ink the deal today.
We're told if it doesn't happen today, it will happen in the next few days by necessity ... there are certain tax issues that create a make-or-break situation for the movie, and that deadline is days away.
Bottom line -- Kevin Connolly wasn't lying ... we're told IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.
