'Moonlight' Kid Hey, Will Smith ... Holla at Ya Boy!
"Moonlight" star Jaden Piner has 2 huge goals for his first Oscar night -- getting next to one of those golden statues AND meeting with Will Smith. He's only prepared for one of those.
Jaden plays the kid version of one of the main characters, and just flew in for the award show. The 13-year-old told us he's ready for his close-up if his movie takes Best Picture, but he seems way more intimidated to meet big Willie.
By the way, kid's got the Hollywood spiel down pat already ... based on his Oscar prediction. He also knows all the right answers when dad's within earshot. His response when our photog asked about dating 7th grade girls is classic!
We predict big things for Jaden.

Don scoffed at both ideas, and instead told us he'd be willing to take the kids off George's hands permanently. He was kidding ... we're pretty sure.

'The Ring' Star Daveigh Chase Questioned by Cops in Death Investigation
-
EXCLUSIVE
Daveigh Chase got busted after rushing a dying man to the hospital -- but her arrest has nothing to do with his death ... well, almost nothing.
Daveigh, the voice of Lilo in "Lilo & Stitch," dumped the guy outside an L.A. hospital in the wee hours of Feb. 15, and immediately bounced ... according to our law enforcement sources. He was pronounced dead after hospital staffers found him.
We're told someone told police Daveigh had been hanging out with the guy in the hours before his death. When cops ran her name, they found an outstanding warrant, and arrested her early Wednesday.
Our sources say Daveigh -- who was also the creepy chick in "The Ring" -- is NOT a suspect in the man's death. We're told cops are treating it as a possible overdose, and Daveigh says she was merely trying to get him help at the hospital.

Harrison Ford Video of Taxiway Landing
FEBRUARY 2017
Harrison Ford's taxiway landing last Monday was caught on video, and it promises to be the centerpiece of the FAA investigation.
The video was captured by cameras trained on the runways at John Wayne Airport in Orange County. It shows Ford's approach which came dangerously close to an American Airlines 737, which was on the taxiway when the actor's plane passed overhead.
A man in the terminal who took a picture of the landing told us Ford had misjudged the runway and banked sharply before landing on the taxiway, but that is not reflected in this video.

Roman Polanski's Rape Victim Worse Things Happen in Life Set Him Free
Samantha Geimer -- the woman raped by Roman Polanski at 13 years old -- says the system did him dirty and she's rooting for him to become a free man again, without spending another day in jail.
TMZ broke the story ... Polanski's lawyer, Harland Braun, is going to court next week in an attempt to unseal secret testimony by Roger Gunson, the prosecutor in the case. Braun believes the testimony will show the judge agreed to a plea deal in which Polanski would serve a month and a half in jail. The judge in the rape case later claimed he never signed off on the deal.
For her part, Geimer is not only forgiving, she seems to think the rape was not a big deal ... and that worse things happen in life.

Harrison Ford Radio Missteps On Takeoff Before Botched Taxiway Landing
Harrison Ford didn't sound like a seasoned pilot of more than 20 years when he stammered through radio calls to the tower ... minutes before his screwed up landing on a taxiway.
TMZ has obtained audio of Harrison's convo with air traffic control as he took off from Santa Monica Airport at 11:49 AM on Feb. 13, and he sounds confused.
The SMO tower sends him off with his tail number -- "Husky Niner Hotel Uniform" -- and gives him a personal code (squawk) of 0214 ... his identifying code for air traffic control. All good up to that point.
The trouble starts when Harrison radios back saying he's in a helicopter. He stutters a few times trying to correct his mistake and then throws out his tail number. The bigger problem is he's still talking to SMO tower, which had already turned over to another tower.
The controller tells Harrison he's on the wrong frequency, and reminds him he should be communicating with the other tower.
Our pilot sources say, on their own, these mistakes would be no big deal. But the FAA might be interested in these because of how his landing went roughly 18 minutes later in Orange County.

Harrison Ford 'Completely Misjudged Runway' Last Second Save on Taxiway
This is a photo of Harrison Ford landing on the taxiway Monday at John Wayne Airport ... and the person who took the pic says the actor was totally out of position seconds before he touched down.
The man who shot the photo had just arrived on a commercial flight and was looking out the terminal window waiting for a friend, when he saw Ford's plane coming in for a landing. He tells TMZ Ford had "completely misjudged the runway" and was not in position to land.
The man grabbed his phone to snap a pic, thinking the pilot might crash, when Ford "banked really sharp." He says the plane was "very close to the ground" when it banked and "hit hard" on the taxiway seconds later.
You see the ramp agent in the photo ... he seemed "shocked," according to the guy who took the pic.
The eyewitness account differs from the story that's being told that Ford simply mistook the taxiway for the runway.

Roman Polanski Wants Back in U.S. To Settle Child Rape Case
-
EXCLUSIVE
Roman Polanski will make a move next week to return to the U.S. and end his child rape case for good, without serving additional jail time.
Polanski's famed lawyer, Harland Braun, has asked an L.A. County Superior Court judge to unseal a long-secret transcript of the testimony of the prosecutor in the Polanski case.
Braun believes the secret testimony supports Polanski's claim that he cut a deal to serve only 48 days behind bars for raping a 13-year-old girl in 1977, and the judge signed off.
Polanski actually spent 42 days in Chino State Prison and was released. But Judge Laurence Rittenband allegedly reneged on the deal and told prosecutors he decided Polanski should spend up to 50 years in prison. That's when Polanski fled the U.S. for Europe.
Polanski spent another 334 days in custody in Switzerland, while authorities tried to extradite him back to the U.S. A Polish court ruled Polanski has served his time under the plea deal, and now Braun wants the L.A. judge to honor that ruling.
We're told Braun wants to clear the way for the 83-year-old famed director and husband of Manson murder victim, Sharon Tate, to come to L.A. and resolve the matter, so he will no longer be a fugitive. He wants to freely travel in Europe and visit Tate's gravesite at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. He has not been able to visit his daughter in London, either.
As for the victim ... she's now in her 50s and has asked the courts to close the case without imposing more jail time.
