Smokey Robinson's attorney Christopher Frost tells TMZ ... "We are pleased with the Court’s ruling. Plaintiffs’ motives have been clear all along. File a vile and salacious complaint, and then bring these plaintiffs out a handful at a time so it looks like there are new and independent allegations, when the truth is that these people all worked together to contrive this lawsuit."

He continues, They are now keeping the public in the dark about the truth by hiding behind a confidentiality order and refusing to produce any documents at all. We know the types of communications these plaintiffs had with our clients prior to deciding to sue them, so we are pleased to finally be able to access information that will help the court, a jury, and the public know the truth.”

Smokey Robinson won a legal battle in his legal war against his sexual assault accusers ... a judge granted the singer's request for the anonymous accusers to turn over their cell phones.

Sabrina Carpenter might find herself in a game of Whack-a-Mole with the White House ... after she seemingly influenced them to take down a post using her music, the administration has now posted a new video using her image.

The PSA in question was posted Friday on X. In it, the White House wrote, "If you're a criminal illegal, you WILL be arrested & deported."

The message accompanied a clip from a "Saturday Night Live" promo Sabrina did with cast member Marcello Hernandez. In the promo, she pretends to arrest the comedian for being too hot -- a bit she does with audience members at her live shows. But the WH edited the clip, recording the word "illegal" over Sabrina saying "hot."

Offset also stuck around to perform he and Gunna's most recent track together, "Different Species" from Offset's "Kiari" album, which dropped back in August to rave reviews -- as well as his own hits, including "Say My Grace" and Migos' magnum opus, "Bad and Boujee."

Steve Cropper, a guitarist whose work was featured on some of the biggest hits of the soul era, has died.

Soulsville Foundation President and CEO Pat Mitchell Worley said Cropper's family told her the musician died in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, reports the Associated Press. Although a cause of death wasn't released, an associate of Cropper's said the guitarist had recently spent time rehabilitation facility after a fall.

Cropper started playing guitar in his early years, and he later formed a group called The Mar-Keys, which became Stax Records' house band. Several members of The Mar-Keys, including Cropper, eventually joined Booker T. and the M.G.'s, whose best-known song, "Green Onions," became a hit in 1962.

Cropper went on to provide backing instrumentation for artists like Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding, and he co-wrote Redding's hit track "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay."

The guitarist later joined The Blues Brothers revue band, appearing in the 1980 movie and its 1998 sequel "Blues Brothers 2000."

Cropper was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with the rest of Booker T. and the M.G.'s, in 1992, and he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.

He was nominated for several Grammy Awards over the course of his life, winning two for Best Rhythm and Blues Song and Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 1969 and 1995, respectively.

Cropper was 84 years old.

Before this big blue-eyed boy turned into a singer and actor, he was just chillin' with his two actor siblings, and left Kansas at 10 years old ... to head off to Cali!

When he was 19, he kicked off his singer career as one of the members of pop band "Big Time Rush."

Ray J says he was afraid when Princess Love's cousin and her husband pulled up to his house demanding to take his kids ... but, even though he held a gun, he says he never pointed it at anyone.

The singer tells TMZ ... he went to his private bedroom to tell the live stream he was on that nobody would take his kids while they were intoxicated -- as he's alleging Princess Love and co. were at the time.

He says he didn't like having two people -- not including Princess Love, who lives in her own house down the street -- being in his private space near his child ... calling them aggressive and belligerent. Ray J says the three were invited guests to prep Thanksgiving dinner, but he didn't love that the extended family were up in the bedroom area.

Lily Allen is plugging her new album in an unusual way ... she's selling butt plugs that double as a USB drive containing her new tunes.

The singer is hawking the sex toy-shaped electronics on her website for $34 a pop ... and while it looks like a blue-and-white polka-dot butt plug, Lily says it's really "a novelty USB device intended for data storage only." Sure, Jan.
