RIP

It appears Prince died without leaving a will ... as a result his 6 siblings -- even the half brothers and sisters -- could split a fortune.

Multiple sources who have worked with Prince as recently as 2014 tell us ... he did not have a will. Of course it's possible in the last year or so Prince had a change of heart and drafted one, but all of our sources say based on his history with them that's highly unlikely.

Our sources say various professionals raised the issue of a will with Prince but he never had an interest in drafting one.

We've contacted various people, including family members, and they all say they have not seen a will and so far no one has come forward with one.

If Prince did indeed die without a will, under Minnesota law his siblings -- the closest living relatives -- would share equally in his estate. Prince had 8 brothers and sisters, and only Tyka was a full sibling.

People have assumed Tyka -- who has taken the reins -- would get everything, but that's not the case. In Minnesota half siblings and full siblings are treated exactly the same when it comes to inheritance without a will ... they all share equally.

Two of Prince's siblings are dead, leaving 6. There's one catch. If the deceased siblings had kids, they would be entitled to the same share as their parent.

As we reported ... our sources say Prince's estate is worth somewhere south of $150 million.

Chyna's manager tells TMZ Sports ... he had recently struck a secret deal with the producers of the TV show "Intervention" to get Chyna help ... but she died before they could start production.

We spoke with Anthony Anzaldo ... who tells us Chyna's closest friends had become concerned about her prescription drug use in recent weeks -- worried that she was over-medicating herself with Ambien and Valium. He's adamant Chyna's issue was ONLY with Rx meds.

Anzaldo says he entered into talks with "Intervention" producers about doing an episode with Chyna -- in the hopes they could get her back on the right path before it was too late.

We're told an agreement was reached -- and the plan was to get a bunch of Chyna's closest WWE friends, including Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley, to participate in the intervention.

"An interventionalist was already lined up as was a facility that was going to take her for 90 days," Anzaldo says. We reached out to "Intervention" -- so far, no word back.

Anzaldo says he became concerned when he hadn't heard from Chyna in days and went to her Redondo Beach apartment to check in on Wednesday evening.

"I found her," Anzaldo says ... noting that he believes she died in her sleep. "She looked peaceful."

As for the future, Anzaldo says he's planning a huge memorial for Chyna -- with celebs and fans ... hoping to give Chyna the send-off she deserved.

Prince's former band members, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman, are speaking out for the first time about his death.

Wendy (guitar) and Lisa (keyboards) -- the most prominent members of The Revolution -- were at LAX Sunday morning, on their way to Minnesota ... and revealed plans for the band to get back together to honor their friend and bandleader.

If, like most people, you watched "Purple Rain" this weekend ... you saw how close Prince was to Wendy and Lisa, and it's clear in this video just how crushed they are by the loss.

Prince split from The Revolution in 1986, but still occasionally performed with Wendy and Lisa. One of the last times was an instant classic gig at the 2006 Brit Awards.

Prince's famous home and recording studio is now a shrine to the legendary singer ... packed with tons of memorabilia from his career.

These photos were taken inside Paisley Park and reveal some of what fans could be seeing in the near future. Sheila E. has said plans are in the works to turn PP into a museum.

The ashes of Prince were gingerly carried away from the mortuary where he was cremated.

Prince's nephew, Pres Nelson, did the honors as his mom, Prince's sister Tyka, cleared the way. We don't know the identity of the woman walking behind Pres.

Pres shielded the urn by placing it underneath his jacket.

So far, the family hasn't said where the ashes will be strewn.

Legendary soul singer Billy Paul died Sunday at his home in New Jersey ... according to his manager.

Paul -- most famous for his iconic song, "Me and Mrs. Jones" -- had checked into Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia last week as he battled cancer ... but his manager, Beverly Gay, says he was at home when he passed away.

Paul's signature hit went to number one for 3 weeks in 1972. The song also won him a Grammy.

His 1975 hit, "Let's Make a Baby" became controversial as Rev. Jesse Jackson called for radio stations to boycott the song due to its sexuality.

Paul's music made him a central figure in the black power movement, but chart-wise ... he never matched the success of 'Mrs. Jones.'

Billy was 81 years old.

Yep. 2016 officially sucks, where music greats are concerned.

Scott Weiland's ex-wife wants the late singer's estate to continue ponying up spousal and child support to the tune of nearly $20k a month.

According to legal docs, Mary Forsberg wants to dip into the estate for $12,519 a month in spousal support, plus $7,201 in monthly child support for their 2 teenagers, Noah and Lucy. That's what Scott's been paying since 2004.

Although Forsberg is the administrator of Weiland's estate, she needs the court's permission to get the dough.

'Til death do us part?

Dave Chappelle got emotional when remembering Prince ... just one night after calling the singer's death the "Black 9/11."

Dave hit up The Nice Guy in West Hollywood Saturday night when our photog asked about Prince. At first, Dave was shy to talk about it ... but then called the loss something that's hit home for everyone.

It was reported Dave called Prince's death the "Black 9/11" at a show in San Francisco Friday ... saying it's important everyone grieves together. You'll remember ... his "Chappelle's Show" famously featured a skit about the singer in one of its funniest projects.

4:35 P.M. PST -- A rep for Prince tells TMZ, "A few hours ago, Prince was celebrated by a small group of his most beloved: family, friends and his musicians, in a private, beautiful ceremony to say a loving goodbye. Prince's remains have been cremated and their final storage will remain private.

We ask for your blessings and prayers of comfort for his family and close friends at this time. The cause of death remains unknown and it will be at least four weeks before we receive the results of the autopsy. An announcement will be made at a future date for a musical celebration."

2:30 P.M. PST -- Guests including Prince's sister Tyka have started to arrive at the estate.

It appears Prince will be remembered in a private service at his Paisley Park home ... and staff members are currently unloading items for the memorial.

You can see from the pics ... several bouquets of flowers, catered food and tables have been taken inside. It's unknown exactly what will go down in Paisley Park, but we've been told the family's been planning something intimate.

Prince's body was released Friday to his relatives after an autopsy was completed, multiple reports say he's been cremated.

These photos were taken Monday ... 3 days before he died. The pics were taken by a woman who lives a mile down the road from Paisley Park.

She says Prince was the picture of happiness, smiling as he cruised around the neighborhood. She says he was riding for at least an hour, and there was no sign of fatigue.

Prince had been riding around in the days leading to his death. We've seen video of him last weekend riding in a shopping mall parking lot, waiting for his girlfriend.

Chyna's death could benefit the health of future athletes by donating her brain to doctors studying the consequences of concussions and WWE wrestlers.

In an interview with the NY Daily News, Chyna's longtime friend and manager Anthony Anzaldo says the wrestler was contacted months ago about joining a brain injury lawsuit against the WWE. Anzaldo says Chyna wasn't interested in the suit ... but thought the science behind it was interesting.

He says shortly after her death, he got a call about donating her brain to the study. Anzaldo says he's working with Chyna's family to allow the coroner to release her brain to the docs.

And get this ... Anzaldo says the same guy carrying out the brain study is Dr. Omalu ... the dude played by Will Smith in "Concussion."

We spoke to John Cena earlier this month in Beverly Hills who said he'd be all for donating his brain if it helped others.

Prince's body had no obvious signs of trauma when he was found in an elevator ... according to the Sheriff running the investigation into his death.

Carver County Sheriff Olson gave few details about what his deputies found at Paisley Park on Thursday morning. He said they've found nothing to indicate the superstar's death was a suicide.

A rep for the Medical Examiner's Office said the autopsy was complete, but they will not release any results until toxicology testing is also complete ... and that could take several weeks.

We broke the story ... Prince had been to his local Walgreens 4 times in the week before his death -- and had been treated for a Percocet OD in Moline, IL last week. When asked if he knew of any medications Prince was taking ...the Sheriff said he "would not confirm."

12:54 PM PST -- The coroner's office just released Prince's body to his family.

Prince's autopsy was just completed ... but the cause of the singer's death is still a mystery.

The four hour procedure started at 9 AM CDT Friday and Prince's body will be released to his family later today. We're told results from the exam won't be disclosed until toxicology results come back ... which could take several weeks.

A rep for the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Minnesota says they're still collecting the singer's medical records as well as family medical history to complete their investigation.

As TMZ reported, Prince was spotted Wednesday pacing outside a local Walgreens waiting on a prescription.

Prince had OD'd on Percocet days before his death, and he ingested so much, EMTs had to administer a "save shot" at the airport where his plane made an emergency landing to save his life.

Sources in Moline, Illinois tell TMZ, Prince's entourage told responders he had taken the painkiller after his Atlanta concert which triggered the emergency.

Percocet is a painkiller which contains a combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone, an opioid. It is highly addictive.

We're told Prince was taking painkillers for a hip problem. We're told he had corrective surgery for his hips around 2010.

As we reported, Prince went to his local Walgreens 4 times in the week leading up to his death. We got a photo of Prince in the parking lot of the Walgreens hours before he died. Witnesses say he was pacing and agitated, waiting for someone to bring out his meds.

Joey Fatone says he knew his friend Chyna was "having some trouble" recently but didn't know how bad her issues had become ... telling TMZ Sports they had just made plans to hang out.

Fatone and Chyna have known each other for years -- and the *NSYNC member says he was sad to learn of her passing this week ... especially since he just had a conversation with her last week.

"I know she was having some trouble and stuff like that but didn't know [it had gotten] that bad."

Chyna had struggled with substance abuse for years -- and officials are investigating her death as a possible overdose.

Fatone says the two had just gotten back in touch with each other and were hoping to hang out sometime soon ... but she died before they could get those plans off the ground.

BTW, Joey made this video last year campaigning for Chyna to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Prince was treated for a drug overdose 6 days before his death ... multiple sources tell TMZ.

We broke the story ... Prince's private jet made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois last Friday, hours after he performed in Atlanta. At the time his reps said he was battling the flu ... something we questioned because his plane was only 48 minutes from home before the unscheduled landing.

Multiple sources in Moline tell us, Prince was rushed to a hospital and doctors gave him a "save shot" ... typically administered to counteract the effects of an opiate.

Our sources further say doctors advised Prince to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. His people demanded a private room, and when they were told that wasn't possible ... Prince and co. decided to bail. The singer was released 3 hours after arriving and flew home.

We're told when Prince left he "was not doing well."

We know authorities in Minnesota are trying to get the hospital records from Moline to help determine cause of death.

We have made more than a dozen attempts to reach Prince's reps for comment, but they went radio silent.
