Nicole Kidman Her Father Dies After Fall in Singapore

Nicole Kidman's father, Dr. Antony Kidman died Friday in Singapore, reportedly after a fall in his hotel room.

Singapore police say they are investigating the "unnatural death," a term often used in Singapore for falls or accidents. He was in the country visiting his daughter Antonia, Nicole's sister.

Kidman was a clinical psychologist and was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2005 for his contributions to clinical psychology.

The University of Technology, Sydney (where Kidman had worked) confirmed his passing in a statement, saying, "It is with great sadness that we learn of Dr. Tony Kidman’s sudden passing ... Tony will be missed by all at UTS. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.”

Ex-Wrestler Sean O'Haire Attempted Multiple Stints in WWE-Sponsored Rehab

Former wrestler Sean O'Haire had a nasty alcohol addiction he couldn't kick ... even though the WWE went to lengths to help him get clean -- including providing him years of treatment.

Sources close to the situation tell us O'Haire went to WWE-sponsored rehab six times in the past 6 years ... including once earlier this year. After he left, we're told the wrestling company made multiple attempts to get in touch with O'Haire -- but he was M.I.A.

As we previously reported ... local police say O'Haire committed suicide. He was found in his bedroom with a red rope tied around his neck and connected to the bedpost.

Joan Rivers Clinic Claims No Biopsy No General Anesthesia

The surgery clinic where Joan Rivers' heart stopped beating is calling BS on a report suggesting her death was caused by a biopsy that should have only been performed at a hospital.

Yorkville Endoscopy broke its silence after the New York Daily News story ran ... saying a biopsy was NOT performed during the ill-fated procedure.

The Daily News story claimed a doctor who arrived with Rivers was performing the biopsy after doctors spotted something on her vocal cords, and her vocal cords seized ... leading to a fatal chain of events.

And Yorkville went on to say they do NOT administer general anesthesia, saying they use "light to moderate sedation."

New York authorities are still investigating cause of death.

Richard Kiel 'Jaws' From James Bond Dies At 74

Richard Kiel, who became famous for portraying the James Bond villain, Jaws ... died Wednesday afternoon at the age of 74 ... TMZ has learned.

Kiel starred in dozens of movies over the span of 50 years ... though his Jaws character became his most iconic role after debuting in 1977's "The Spy Who Loved Me" alongside Roger Moore. He returned in "Moonraker" two years later.

The 7-foot-2 Kiel also co-starred with Adam Sandler in the golf classic "Happy Gilmore."

Kiel had broken his leg last week and was in a hospital in Fresno, CA. A family member tells us he passed away this afternoon in the hospital -- and it's unclear if his death was connected to the leg injury.

Kiel's family tells TMZ ... "Though most people knew of him through his screen persona, those who were close to him knew what a kind and generous soul he was. His family was the most important thing in his life and we are happy that his last days were spent surrounded by family and close friends."

Sean O'Haire Former WCW, WWE Star Commits Suicide By Hanging

12:50 PM PT -- According to local police, O'Haire committed suicide. He was found in his bedroom beside his bed, with a red rope tied around his neck and connected to the bedpost. His body was discovered by his father, who then called 911.

Former WCW and WWE wrestler Sean O'Haire was found dead Tuesday at his home in South Carolina ... TMZ has learned.

The coroner in Spartanburg, SC tells TMZ a cause of death is unknown at this time, but no foul play is suspected. They are awaiting toxicology reports that might shed light on things.

O'Haire (whose real name was just Sean Haire) made his debut with the WCW in 2000 and along with partner Chuck Palumbo, was the final WCW tag team champions when the organization folded.

Once in the WWE, he was Rowdy Roddy Piper's protege, but when Piper left in 2003 ... O'Haire fizzled out and eventually left the WWE in 2004.

He eventually transitioned into kickboxing and MMA before becoming a hair stylist.

Joan Rivers Medical Screw Up Reportedly Caused Death

A doctor performed an outpatient procedure on Joan Rivers that should ONLY have been performed in a hospital ... and that's what led to her death ... according to a new report.

During Rivers' planned endoscopy ... doctors discovered something on her vocal cords and her doctor decided he would biopsy it ... this according to the NY Daily News.

During the biopsy Rivers' vocal cords reportedly seized -- slammed shut -- cutting off her air supply. Sources tell TMZ while they were trying to resuscitate her, her heart stopped.

Medical experts told the Daily News ... the biopsy was too risky for outpatient surgery and should have been performed in a hospital.

Rivers never recovered and died a few days later.

James Gandolfini's son was too young to watch "The Sopranos" while it was on, but even though he's now a mature 14 ... he hasn't finished the series.

Michael Gandolfini told our photog he wasn't allowed to watch his father's most famous work, but he's seen some of it now ... but not the infamous ending.

Michael also revealed his favorite show on TV now ... and we think it's something James would have definitely enjoyed.

G.R.L. Singer Simone Battle Money Problems a Factor in Suicide

G.R.L. singer Simone Battle had been struggling with financial problems before committing suicide ... TMZ has learned.

We know friends and family members told law enforcement ... Battle was depressed over money issues recently -- the family wasn't specific but they were clear ... money was bringing her down.

The family didn't quite understand, because Battle was part of a successful singing group that had just completed an overseas tour.

People close to Battle told cops ... she was frustrated that she hadn't hit in the U.S. and worried she never would. Apparently Battle wasn't cutting it financially overseas.

We broke the story ... the 25-year-old singer was found hanging from a clothing rod in a bedroom closet of her West Hollywood home. Her boyfriend found the body about 8:30 A.M. We're told he had last seen her alive about 5 hours earlier.

'X Factor' Star Simone Battle Father Confused by Apparent Suicide

Former "X Factor" contestant Simone Battle's suicide has stunned her father ... who says the "G.R.L." singer never once let on that she was suffering as she got a taste of success in Hollywood.

Anthony Battle tells us he and his daughter hadn't spoke on the phone in a few weeks ... but they texted every day and she seemed to be doing just fine.

In fact, he says Simone was excited about where her career was heading. G.R.L. had recorded and released a song with Pitbull earlier this year.

We're told close friends of the 25-year old singer spoke with her via text the night before her death -- they also didn't sense anything was wrong.

When we asked Anthony if Simone was battling depression ... he said he was unaware of anything like that, but acknowledged ... "It's possible she may have had an invisible disability."

Anthony tells us Simone's boyfriend discovered her body in her bedroom ... but he doesn't suspect foul play.

An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.

Joan Rivers Melissa's Tearful Farewell As Body Transported

It was an incredibly emotional scene this morning as Joan Rivers' body was transported to a crematorium -- and her daughter and grandson said goodbye.

Melissa Rivers watched as 6 pallbearers carried the coffin out of an upper East Side funeral home to a waiting hearse. A NY Post camera shot Melissa and her son Cooper walking to the back of the vehicle ... where Melissa kissed the coffin.

Joan's body was reportedly being moved to a crematorium in NJ. Her memorial service will be held at a Manhattan temple tomorrow.

'X Factor' Star Simone Battle Dies at 25 ... From Apparent Suicide

7:35 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Simone was found hanging on a rod in the closet of her bedroom around 8:30 AM on Friday.

Singer Simone Battle, who rose to fame on the US version of "X Factor" ... was found dead in her Los Angeles home ... and TMZ has learned it appears to be a suicide.

25-year-old Battle was a singer in the girl group "G.R.L." ... which was the reboot of the Pussycat Dolls. She signed on with the group after her run on "X Factor" ... where she was a finalist, making it into the top 17.

The L.A. County Cororner's Office tells us Battle's autopsy has not been completed yet ... so, nothing has been ruled out as cause of death.

Simone's father told us she was found in the bedroom of her apartment in a West Hollywood neighborhood. He described her home as a guest house of a larger residence.

In June, TMZ shot video of Simone and her 'GRL' bandmate Natasha Slayton. They were excited about their song "Wild Wild Love" with Pitbull.

Joan Rivers Clinic Room Was Stocked For Worst Case Scenario

The room at Yorkville Endoscopy where Joan Rivers went into respiratory and cardiac arrest ... was well equipped to handle life or death emergencies, just like any first rate hospital ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the clinic tell us Joan's room contained state of the art resuscitation devices ... including a cardiac defibrillator and instruments to clear a patient's blocked airway. As you'd expect ... all the nurses and physicians are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, we're told.

Further, we've learned the NY Health Dept has already visited the clinic to review documentation related to Joan's case, and to interview staff members who treated Joan.

The review will, no doubt, include determining whether anesthesia was administered to Joan, and by whom. We're told Yorkville employs in-house anesthesiologists who are board certified.

Of course, even with the best equipment ... human error is always possible -- which is largely what the health department will try to determine.

Joan Rivers Panicked About Heart Condition (VIDEO)

Joan Rivers suffered from heart arrhythmia and worried that her heart might stop beating on stage or during surgery.

Joan spoke about the condition -- which causes sudden irregularities in the heart beat -- during an interview with Joan Lunden on Good Morning America back in 1985.

Joan said, "It scares the hell out of you. And when you go under, say for plastic surgeries and things like that ... that's when your heart can go out of kilter."

It's still unknown if Rivers was under general anesthesia when she went into cardiac and respiratory arrest during a vocal cord procedure 9 days ago.

Joan Rivers Autopsy Complete ... No Clear Cause of Death Found

Joan Rivers' autopsy has been done, but the Medical Examiner will need more information to determine exactly how she died ... TMZ has learned.

The Medical Examiner's Office tells us they've completed the physical examination of Joan's body, but could not find a clear "cause and manner of death" ... pending further studies.

We're told those further studies will include conducting toxicology testing, and interviewing medical professionals who were present during the throat procedure Joan was getting last week when she stopped breathing.

11:30 AM PT -- Melissa Rivers was just seen leaving a funeral home in NYC.

Joan Rivers Dream Funeral Singer Too Sick to Sing

Joan Rivers won't be getting the perfect funeral she wrote about ... because the famous singer she wanted to perform is too sick to make her wish come true.

In her 2012 book, Joan described her perfect funeral as "a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action." She wrote, "I don’t want some rabbi rambling on; I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents. I don’t want a eulogy; I want Bobby Vinton to pick up my head and sing 'Mr. Lonely.'"

But TMZ has learned 79-year-old Vinton -- who's been friends with Joan for years -- is just getting over a bout with pneumonia. Bobby's rep tells us Vinton is bummed he won't be able to perform his 1964 hit, but will try to make it up in some way ... perhaps with a recorded video message.
