TMZ has obtained an excerpt of Gerry's upcoming memoir, "Golden Years" ... and he writes that after announcing his divorce just 3 months in last year, the negative reaction got so brutal he hit rock bottom ... writing, "One night, while I was lying in bed and staring at the ceiling, it all became too much, and for the briefest moment, I thought about putting a gun to my head."

In the excerpt, Gerry explains he’s always had a "marathon mentality" -- pushing through pain knowing it would pass. But he admitted that at the time, the agony felt endless.

Mexican-American actress Vanessa Villela was 43 years old when she sold her luxurious Los Angeles homes and played mediator on Netflix's popular reality real-estate show, "Selling Sunset" back in 2021.

Vanessa joined the dramatic cast that also featured Chrishell Stause ... who was going through her divorce from Justin Hartley ... and Mary Bonet, who was in the midst of a friend break-up with fellow real estate agent Christine Quinn.

Vanessa -- who's also an actress -- (attempted) to mend the fence between Christine and the other women but was unsuccessful. However, she DID sell her Malibu property 😉!

Sarah Paulson and Kim Kardashian are the spitting image of a couple friends ... the "All's Fair" costars shared a laugh with People over the time Sarah accidentally spat on the reality star during filming.

A former TV anchor was reportedly arrested in connection with the stabbing death of her elderly mother Friday.

Angelynn Mock -- a 47-year-old woman who anchored St. Louis' local station Fox 2 about 10 years ago -- was taken into police custody in Wichita, Kansas after her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers, was found in bed with multiple stab wounds, the Daily Mail reports. Avers was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Wichita Police Department told the Daily Mail they responded around 8 in the morning and found Mock outside the home while her mother was lying inside bleeding.

MTV has officially pulled the plug on "Ridiculousness" ... ending one of the longest-running series in the network's history ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar tell TMZ ... the decision was relayed to the cast and crew this week, with everyone informed the current season will be the show's last. We're told the shocking announcement came straight from the network's top brass.

The show went dark in July and was supposed to come back in January ... but instead, TMZ has learned, previously produced first-run episodes will continue to air on MTV through 2026, but no more original episodes will be produced.

Charlie Sheen recently dropped a bombshell, admitting he’s hooked up with men ... but hold up, he’s clearing the air, saying it wasn’t that kind of hookup.

The actor clarified his Netflix docuseries confession on "In Depth with Graham Bensinger" ... saying when people hear "sex with men," their minds go straight to butt stuff ... he apologized for the graphic mental image, but insisted "It wasn’t that."

Charlie put it in his own words ... "I don’t want to be like, ‘OK, I did this thing, but this and that part of it didn’t happen.’ But it didn’t."

Ariana has worked with Emma -- plus 'AHS' creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk -- on the horror comedy series "Scream Queens." The show premiered in 2015 and ran for 2 seasons, notably also starring Lea Michele, Glen Powell, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
