After Big Show posted pics of his own gut muscles last month, some people thought Shaq was backing out of their WrestleMania 33 match because he was scared of the 7-footer's impressive physique.

But Shaq tells us, "Big Show is scared. He called me 'fat.' I am PHAT ... Pretty Handsome And Tall."

Broken Matt Hardy tells TMZ Sports he's been in talks with multiple wrestling organizations including WWE -- but says if Vince McMahon jerks him around, he will DELETE the most powerful man in the biz.

Hardy currently wrestles for Ring of Honor and brags that he holds the richest contract if ROH history -- twice as big as the one the Young Bucks signed.

There have been rumblings that he'll appear at WrestleMania 33 in April -- and while he wouldn't confirm, he did note that he's surveilling the WWE honcho with his trusty drone, Vanguard 1.

Big Show's not sweating whether Shaq will show up to Wrestlemania or not ... 'cause he's planning to be there with or without him.

Shaquille O'Neal says his highly anticipated showdown with Big Show at WrestleMania 33 is "not looking good" ... insinuating negotiations with WWE are falling apart.

Shaq and Big Show have been hyping up the battle of the big men for MONTHS -- and it seemed both guys had agreed to face off on April 2.

But the NBA legend went on his "Big Shaq" podcast and said it's definitely NOT a done deal ... but made it clear, "It ain't my fault."

WWE Hall of Famer George "The Animal" Steele died Thursday night in Florida from kidney failure ... George's wife, Patricia, tells TMZ Sports.

Patricia tells us George had been in and out of hospice care since April.

George had some legendary bouts with Randy Savage back in the day -- and other wrestling greats are reacting to the sad news. Hulk Hogan said, "My brother, only love, only grateful."

George was 79.

Vince McMahon took Donald Trump all the way back to 2007 Tuesday ... when the WWE honcho's family posed with the prez -- and busted out a pic of their famous "Hair Vs. Hair" match!

WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero Sr. has died after a battle with liver cancer.

Guerrero's son, Chavo Jr. -- who also wrestled -- announced his father's death Saturday, saying, "Today the world lost a true rebel. He did things "HIS" way. Not always right, not always wrong, but He always followed what he believed in." Junior says Chavo was diagnosed with liver cancer last month.

Chavo Sr. was a staple in the legendary Guerrero wrestling family and the brother of WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero, who died in 2005 of heart failure.

Guerrero Sr. was 68.
