You Might Want to Rethink

Rihanna was a no-show for her final rehearsal for "Saturday Night Live" last night -- which did not sit well with the show's producers, including head man Lorne Michaels ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, RiRi called in sick for the dress rehearsal, which is done live in front of a studio audience right before the actual show. We're told Michaels takes dress rehearsals very seriously and was quite upset when Rihanna bailed at the last minute.

Our sources say that in her place, Rihanna's choreographer danced to her songs.

When Rihanna showed up later looking just fine, we're told the staff was shocked ... and felt she didn't appear sick enough to have missed the dress rehearsal ... though no one from the show called her on it.

According to our sources, once the live show got going, Rihanna was seen eating an apple and walking around in between songs ... which bothered several staffers because she did not seem ill at all.

We're told producers can't even remember the last time someone has skipped the dress rehearsal.

Sources close to Rihanna tell TMZ she went through every rehearsal except the dress rehearsal (which she was in the building for) because she just felt too ill to do it. We're told RiRi had a doctor come to her dressing room before the show and administer a shot of penicillin before she went on.

The bad news: Amanda Bynes was involved in another hit-and-run in Hollywood last night.

The good news: She didn't hit a cop car this time.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a man was driving last night near the intersection of Crescent Heights and Melrose Blvd. when he claims he was sideswiped by a Range Rover that was trying to pass him on the right.

According to our sources, when the SUV didn't stop, the guy called police and reported the hit and run.

But the guy didn't let it go there. According to our sources, he began to follow the SUV himself (which wasn't difficult because there was traffic). We're told cops responded to the scene and even dispatched a police helicopter to track the SUV, unsure of how severe the accident was.

When cops finally caught up to the Range Rover, we're told the driver was none other than Bynes ... who told police she had no idea she had struck another vehicle. Our sources say the damage to Bynes' SUV was so minimal, it is possible she didn't feel the accident.

Law enforcement sources tell us Amanda was very cooperative with police and cops had her exchange information with the other driver. We're told she was not given a citation and cops will not be investigating the incident further.

Mexican mega-rock band Maná was outside a Coldplay concert when we got to ask 'em the burning question about groupies that was on absolutely ... NO ONE's mind. ¡Ay, dios mio!

Michael Jackson's Estate has just made a huge deal with Pepsi -- the company whose 1984 commercial arguably ruined his life, and some say it's a deal with the devil.

You'll recall, MJ's hair famously caught fire during a pyrotechnic mishap while filming the commercial -- causing severe burns on his scalp that led MJ to become a hardcore prescription drug addict ... and that addiction eventually led him to Dr. Conrad Murray.

The MJ Estate feels Pepsi is the right company to join forces with for a couple of reasons. First, Michael himself worked with Pepsi twice after the incident, once in 1988 and again in 1991, so the singer obviously didn't hold a grudge. And a spokesperson for the estate tells us, "We're here to market the re-release of the 'Bad' album and Pepsi is the most effective place to do it."

But lots of people blame the Pepsi shoot for putting MJ on a drug-fueled path of self-destruction -- including one of the singer's former managers Frank Cascio, who said MJ was introduced to Demerol (a heroin-like opioid) following the accident ... to help deal with the pain.

The Jackson/Pepsi promotion will vary country-to-country -- but will include a TV commercial, special edition cans with Jackson's image, and chances to win downloadable remixes of Jackson's songs.

Ashton Kutcher's new commercial for Popchips has officially been PULLED amidst allegations of racism ... after the actor donned brownface makeup to play a goofy Bollywood producer.

The ad -- which debuted on the Popchips website -- featured Ashton playing a variety of characters in a spoof "dating" commercial ... including a biker, a hippie, and an Indian guy named Raj.

The ad pissed off a whole bunch of people -- including blogger Anil Dash ... who called the ad, "a hackneyed, unfunny advertisement featuring Kutcher in brownface talking about his romantic options, with the entire punchline being that he's doing it in a fake-Indian outfit and voice."

Dash explained on his blog, "I think the people behind this Popchips ad are not racist. I think they just made a racist ad."

In the wake of the backlash, Popchips took down the ad ... and Popchips CEO Keith Belling issued a statement saying, "We did not intend to offend anyone. I take full responsibility and apologize to anyone we offended."

19-year-old "Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson took a not-so-cheap shot at a Ralph's Grocery store -- he posed as over 21 and got the check out clerk to sell him an expensive bottle of whiskey.

We got this pic of Josh leaving the Ralph's in Sherman Oaks on April 18 with a bottle of Macallan whisky in hand -- which, by the way, goes for $170.

A source tells TMZ ... Josh used a fake ID to score the bottle.

It's interesting ... a few weeks ago we got Josh on camera, grousing, "I think the age to go to war is 18 ... so I think the drinking age should be 18 as well."

A spokesperson for Ralphs tells TMZ, "We strictly enforce all laws relating to the sale of alcohol to minors. We will investigate these allegations and take any steps necessary."

Josh could be prosecuted and the maximum punishment is 6 months in jail, although in reality he'd spend no time behind bars. Authorities could also go after Ralph's for selling to a minor.

Some things just never change. Lindsay Lohan was a no-show at LAX for her scheduled 1 PM flight to the nation's capital for the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

We know Lindsay was supposed to be on the flight, along with her lawyer, Shawn Holley. Shawn made the flight, as did another passenger named George Clooney, who will also be at the dinner.

As for why Lindsay missed the flight ... we're told she just couldn't pull it together. She PLANS on taking a later flight.

There are reports Lindsay was out late last night -- although we have not confirmed it.

Funny ... we asked Shawn Holley who was a more difficult client -- Lindsay or OJ Simpson (Shawn worked for Johnnie Cochran during the OJ trial). Her answer: "I have no difficult clients."

Lindsay Lohan was late this morning for her guest appearance on "Glee" ... following a night out on the town. Coincidence?

Dot Marie Jones -- who plays Coach Beiste on the show -- tweeted, "Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I'd rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!"

Dot didn't say who was late, but we've confirmed the person MIA was LiLo.

Now here's the good news for Lindsay ... Sources connected with the production tell TMZ, Lindsay shot her big scenes the other day, and director Eric Stoltz has been saying she was "very professional." We're told she nailed her lines and was very polite to cast and crew.

Octomom Nadya Suleman -- who is pulling in $2,000 month in food stamps thanks to California taxpayers -- spent $520 on a Brazilian blowout, and 2 cuts ... TMZ has learned.

Octo's hairstylist Stephanie tells us ... she went to Octo's house on April 18 to cut her hair and do a Brazilian blowout -- a chemical straightening treatment. Octo owed Stephanie for an earlier haircut, and the grand total came to $520. Octo also paid Stephanie $80 for hair products. Mind you -- Octo wrote the check at a time when she was in dire need of welfare.

Stephanie -- who went to cops yesterday and filed a report claiming the 14 kids were living in squalor -- tells us she couldn't believe Octo was spending this kind of loot on haircuts when her plumbing didn't work.

Stephanie says a plumber had been to the house recently and told Octo it would cost $150 to fix the pipes, but Octo declined, saying it was too expensive. As a result, the kids have to use portable training toilets in the backyard.

By the way, Stephanie also says while she was cutting Octo's hair, the mother of 14 locked her kids in the bedroom. Take a look at the pic -- notice the chair she used to keep the door shut.

9:00 AM PT: Octomom just walked one of her kids to a school bus -- we asked about the giant haircut check, but she had no response. PS -- nice Elmo slippers.

Dick Clark's only been dead a few hours ... but the roasting has already begun ... this time, it's Denis Leary leading the charge.

Leary went to his Twitter a few minutes ago and wrote, "With Dick Clark dead, Casey Kasem now reveling in his status as last and reigning king of leather faced syrup voiced lizard people."

There's more -- Denis wrote, "I'm gonna package a Dick Clark Hologram mc'ing a Tupac Hologram summer tour."

One of the singers from "The Wanted" has finally settled the debate -- STRONGLY insinuating the band's hit song "Glad You Came" is really about having an orgasm ... not hanging out with some chick you like.

The video (shot recently in New York) shows "Wanted" singer Tom Parker (left) singing the song on the street with two fans.

Everything's going fine at first -- maybe a little pitchy -- but on the last verse, Tom changes the lyrics, singing instead, "I'm glad you GUSHED" ... and gestures near his crotch.

The debate's been raging for months -- so we gotta ask ...

Sporting another hoochie outfit, Amanda Bynes went clubbing in Hollywood again last night ... for the 2nd time since her DUI arrest ... and it was a disaster.

Bynes -- who drove herself to the Chateau Marmont and Greystone Manor -- was seen texting behind the wheel ... and she eventually backed over a curb in a red zone.

Bynes eventually got the car parked ... and strutted her way inside Greystone ... the same place where a seemingly intoxicated Amanda got behind the wheel and drove off back in March ... despite desperate warnings from our photog.

Bynes was eventually busted for DUI on April 6 after partying at Smoke and Mirrors at The Standard Hotel in Hollywood ... where she unsuccessfully tried to party hours after her arrest.

11:50 AM PT: We're told the California Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control has just opened an investigation into The Sayers Club over the Ludwig photos. A rep for the ABC tells TMZ, "We're looking into it."

"Hunger Games" star Alexander Ludwig blew off some steam Tuesday night by kicking back at The Sayers Club in Hollywood -- problem is, he's 19 and the club cannot legally allow anyone in who is under 21.

The pic on the left shows Alexander at an event earlier in the evening. Then we got more pics -- shot at around 11:45 PM -- showing Alexander, wearing the same leather jacket and skinny jeans -- covering his face leaving Sayers.

The California Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control tells TMZ ... Sayers has a Type 48 license, meaning only patrons 21 and over can enter.

Robbie McKay, Director of Communications for Sayers, tells TMZ when security spotted Ludwig inside the club he was asked to leave.

"Celebrity Apprentice" star Dayana Mendoza is firing back at Lisa Lampanelli ... claiming Lisa insulted an "entire Hispanic culture" when she called the beauty queen a "sp*c" during a radio interview.

It all went down last month when Lampanelli appeared on Sirius XM and said, "I actually would love to see [Dayana] giving birth. She’s a sp*c! She’s going to do it f**king soon, anyway. She’ll be knocked up before the end of the week.”

Now, Dayana is speaking out about the racial slur ... telling the Huffington Post, "I understand that it's Lisa's job to make fun of people for a living. If poking fun at me can help her sell tickets to her shows, no problem, I am happy to help her put food on her table. However, when she uses racial slurs, she is not only targeting myself but degrading an entire Hispanic culture."

Dr. Bill Dorfman -- a world famous dentist who treats some of the biggest stars on Earth -- tells TMZ he keeps a "secret stash" of the teeth he's plucked from the mouths of his famous patients ... in the hopes of eventually selling them on eBay.

Dorfman -- who recently treated Lindsay Lohan and whose website features Jessica Simpson, Usher, Ozzy Osbourne, Anne Hathaway and Eva Longoria -- was outside Rock & Brews in El Segundo yesterday when he revealed his secret.

"I actually save famous people's teeth when I pull them ... but I can't tell you [their identities] 'cause it's like patient confidentiality."

He continues, "There have been a few really famous people and I thought one day maybe I could sell this on eBay."

Dorfman insists he always offers the teeth to his patients first ... but they often decline, "So I put it in the back and i just hold on to it."

One dentist told us, "What Dorfman is doing is just sick."

If Dennis Rodman's really broke, he hasn't gotten the memo -- because earlier this month in Vegas, he LITTERED the floor of some clothing shop with cash ... and the rainstorm was all caught on tape!!!

Sources tell TMZ, Rodman had just wrapped a hosting gig at Tabu nightclub -- and a few hours later, he hit up a clothing store at the MGM Grand with his entourage.

Before long, The Worm was flinging stacks of singles into the air ... lining the floor of the entire store with cash. We're told he also spent a couple thousand on new threads while he was there.
