TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Mario out in NYC while promoting his latest project, "Mood Swings," which could sum up his thoughts on his R&B contemporaries for some fans.

Ray J recently went nuclear in Mario's Baltimore hometown on the local radio station, bragging about how his skills and hits are superior to the "Let Me Love You" hitmaker.

Martha Stewart is back in the saddle with Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre is along for the hoo-ride ... as the gourmet guru is now the newest brand partner for their Still G.I.N. spirited beverage!!!

On Tuesday, Martha posted up with Dre and Snoop and introduced her signature cocktail "Water Melly" boosted by Still G.I.N. -- along with watermelon and lime juice, cucumber bitters, and cane syrup.

Big Martha will now promote Still G.I.N. alongside Dre and Snoop, picking up right where she and Snoop's "Potluck Dinner Party" TV series left off.

Lola's new track, "Pain," samples MJB's "No More Drama" ... and while she hasn't met her round-the-way-girl idol, Mary clearing the song for her speaks volumes!!!

Drake is apparently welcoming Serena Williams shade in his Instagram comment section ... as he hit the "like" button on a user saying Sexyy Red is an "upgrade" from the tennis legend.

Champagne Papi posted a series of tennis-themed shots with the "Pound Town" rapper on Monday ... with the caption reading, "I said tennis lesson she said where’s the bracelet or the necklace."

It garnered tons of comments, including an interesting one from a person who praised Sexyy Red while simultaneously dissing Serena -- a jab that Drake was quick to endorse with a like.

Girlalala was shot and killed over the weekend in Florida following an argument with her boyfriend that allegedly turned violent ... and a well-known rapper has stepped in to help cover funeral expenses.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting, which took place in Lauderdale Lakes Friday night. Deputies found Girlalala in the front passenger seat of a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later died.

Authorities say the suspect -- Girlalala’s longtime boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr. -- was arrested at the scene, and a firearm was recovered. Investigators say the couple had been involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation inside Whyte’s car.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating an allegation of sexual battery against Sean "Diddy" Combs ... but Diddy says he didn't do it.

The accusation comes from a male music producer and publicist who claims Diddy exposed himself and asked him to assist in a sex act back in 2020.

According to a police report filed in Largo, Florida ... the unidentified producer says he was invited to a photo shoot in Los Angeles where Diddy allegedly began masturbating under a shirt and asked the accuser to assist him in the act. The accuser claims he ignored Diddy's request, and the music mogul continued going about his business before tossing the shirt at him.

Offset says he never posted and then deleted a supposed reference to Cardi B and Stefon Diggs' baby boy.

Here's the deal ... Cardi made a big stink over the weekend about Offset allegedly harassing her after social media went wild over a post that appeared to be from Offset, where it looked like he said "My kid lol" on his Instagram story.

Thing is ... Offset claims the post was fabricated and Cardi is responding to "misinformation."

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida crib was ransacked by four gunmen last night ... and new security footage shows just how scary it got for his mom -- who was held against her will -- and even the family dog trapped inside.

TMZ has obtained surveillance video from Sunday night after the intruders slipped in through the garage. In one clip, you can see Tekashi’s 60-year-old mom face to face with the burglars, her voice shaking as she begs and pleads ... while the dog runs around confused.

One intruder stays posted up on Tekashi’s mom while the others tear through the place ... and before long the chaos spills outside, which you can see play out on more surveillance video.

Veteran rapper Talib Kweli was involved in a hellfire-heated exchange with security guards backstage at his Black Star concert last Saturday -- and TMZ Hip Hop has the explosive exchange all on tape!!!

The scene opens with Kweli barking at the top of his lungs at a group of men behind the curtain, demanding they tell him "Who the f*** they think they are!!!"

According to the sounds of the argument, Kweli was royally pissed off that security guards had walked onto the stage 1 minute past the 11PM curfew to stop the show, and was upping the bass in his voice towards anyone who tried to calm him down!!!

Cardi B is venting about a new houseguest who's been getting on her nerves ever since she gave birth to Stefon Diggs' son ... and it's her own mother!!!

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper hopped on social media and explained all the things her mom's been doing to drive her crazy.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's Florida home was stormed by four gunmen hunting for his cash and car keys ... and held his mother against her will during the terrifying invasion.

The chilling incident went down Sunday night, when the embattled rapper's 60-year-old mother was at his residence and suddenly confronted by the armed men.

6ix9ine tells us he was not home at the time ... instead, he was livestreaming with Jack Doherty when the home invasion played out. You'll recall, Doherty was also arrested Saturday morning on drug possession and other charges.
