We caught up with the hip-hop legend at LAX on Wednesday ... and, we asked him about whether he's interested in this alternative halftime show, and he's pretty much thumbs-down on it -- sharing his confusion about why people wouldn't want to listen to a powerful artist like BB.
Bad Bunny lifting up Puerto Rico's economy and his other good works for the U.S. island territory is enough reason for him to get the Halftime Show spot, Flavor adds ... and, Flav himself is a big fan of the guy.
Soft Cell Dave Ball Dead at 66
Dave Ball -- one half of the 1980s New Wave pop group Soft Cell -- has died at age 66, according to the band's official website.
Ball was the synthesizer-keyboardist and Marc Almond was the singer of the group that recorded the iconic 1981 track "Tainted Love" … a massive hit, which was actually a cover.
Ball died in his sleep at home in London Wednesday. He'd recently played a show with Soft Cell, just weeks earlier … he was in a wheelchair at the time.
The group's website posted a statement and a series of tributes to Ball following his death.

Grimes is showing off her new ink ... a fresh tattoo on her face.
Check it out -- the Canadian musician, whose real name is Claire Boucher -- proudly posted her brand new design on Instagram Wednesday, gushing to fans she spent a decade "emotionally working up to a face tattoo."
The unique tat is a reddish-brown circle that wraps around part of her left eye and the side of her face. It almost resembles a birthmark ... and Grimes mentioned her parents didn't even notice her new piece of art, reasoning ... "I guess I drew on my face too much."

Jon Bon Jovi Announces Tour Dates For 2026
It looks like Jon Bon Jovi's getting back on the road again ... because he just announced the dates for his upcoming "Forever" tour.
The singer and his band are set to make their big return to the stage in July 2026 for four nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City, before they fly across the pond for a string of dates in the UK and Ireland, according to Variety.
Jon released a statement to go along with the announcement, describing himself as "deeply grateful" for the patience of both his fans and his band members in planning the tour.

KISS guitarist Ace Frehley passed away last week after a tragic fall ... and a New Jersey medical examiner is now investigating his death, TMZ has learned.
A rep for the Morris County Medical Examiner tells us an autopsy was not performed on Frehley ... but the rock legend is receiving a toxicology screening along with an external body examination. The rep also said Ace's cause of death will be finalized in the next few weeks after the toxicology report is completed.
We broke the story ... Ace was placed on life support after being hospitalized with a brain bleed. Ace suffered the bleed following a bad fall in the studio a couple of weeks prior.

Sam Rivers -- the bassist for the nu metal group Limp Bizkit -- died Saturday ... and now we have more of a clue as to what happened.
A spokesperson for the St. Johns County, Florida Fire Rescue tells TMZ ... they responded to a call Saturday for a "nonresponsive person in cardiac arrest."
The final cause of death is still unclear, but a rep for the St. Johns County Sheriff tells TMZ ... "Deputies responded to an attended death at that address." An "attended death" is one in which the deceased has been a patient under medical care for a serious or life-threatening illness that will likely lead to death in a relatively short period of time -- days or months, but not years.
