Perez's family revealed the frightening new detail Thursday, saying ... "Just minutes before the public livestream incident, Perez's children, niece, and sister were inside the home."

They continue ... "When it became clear that Perez was experiencing a severe mental health crisis and harming himself, they immediately fled to protect the children from witnessing any further trauma."

A man accused of targeting NFL players in a fake e-commerce scheme was found dead in a swimming pool in New Jersey, officials announced.

The body of 24-year-old Mohamed Coulibaly was discovered at a Harrison Township home on Friday ... after officers conducted a welfare check triggered by family members expressing concern for his well-being, according to ABC.

Coulibaly was recently accused of organizing a scam to swindle athletes of their salaries by offering them stakes in what appeared to be successful online stores ... only for the impressive sales logs to be completely bogus, Barron's reported last month.

LaTisha Collier didn't love being locked up ... and she's already back on the streets after filing an appeal in her forgery case, TMZ has learned.

According to Scott County Jail's inmate records, LaTisha was released from prison Wednesday morning ... and she'll be out until a decision's made about her appeal.

As we previously reported, LaTisha was sentenced to 15 years behind bars for allegedly scamming clients of her financial firm.

The man accused of making chilling threats over Nolan Wells' death had a message for the FBI as he was hauled to jail -- justice for Nolan.

According to a newly filed FBI report, obtained by TMZ, Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce was arrested July 29 at a West Sacramento, CA library ... and while FBI agents drove him to jail, one agent told him she wouldn't question him about his federal charges -- but Dumarce apparently started talking anyway.

According to the report, Dumarce said he knew "what this was about" and acknowledged his words got him in trouble ... before adding, "I hope they get justice for that boy."

Austin says Sydney hoped to participate in a clinical trial before making the transition, but ultimately accepted hospice care after realizing there were no remaining treatment options.

He tells us the family is now working through funeral arrangements, though Austin says logistics are still being finalized and no date has been set for a memorial service.

Blake Lively wants Jed Wallace to pay her legal bills after getting his defamation lawsuit tossed ... but he wants her to answer some questions under oath before she gets a dime.

Wallace -- a crisis PR specialist who worked with Justin Baldoni's team during his battle with Blake -- filed new docs, obtained by TMZ, asking a Texas judge to force the actress to sit for a deposition.

According to the docs, the questioning would be limited to Blake's request for attorneys' fees and damages.

We're told doctors thought smoky air from wildfires in Canada may have been affecting him and -- out of an abundance of caution -- recommended he see a cardiologist ... since it had been two decades since his triple bypass.

Our sources say Vinnie went in for an echocardiogram and wore a heart monitor, plus he had a stress test scheduled. But, doctors didn't find any abnormalities.

Luka Doncic's ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes said she wanted to settle their issues amicably ... but TMZ Sports has learned she's taken their fight to Slovenia -- and as far as she's concerned, the cost of settlement is $50 MILLION!

Anamaria has filed a new claim in Slovenia ... and she is seeking $40 million for herself ... we assume the remaining $10 million is for their two daughters. He continues ... "Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I've received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff."

The senator concludes his updates ... "On the advice of my doctors, I'll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I'll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business."

McConnell's press release did not include a photo of him ... unlike previous health updates -- so that's not going to do much in stopping the relentless conspiracies about his health.

As you know ... the Kentucky senator was in the hospital for 53 days ... and with only a pair of proof of life snaps ... the jokes and skepticism became a whirlwind.

James Haven, born into Hollywood royalty, has come out as gay ... months after his split from ex-wife Romi Imbelli ... TMZ has learned.
