Samuel Monroe Jr. remains hospitalized in Los Angeles on life support, in a medically induced coma ... and it's getting more apparent there may be no light at the end of the tunnel, his family tells TMZ.

The actor best known for his work in "Menace II Society" has been hospitalized since April ... initially going in for a severe case of meningitis, which turned into MRSA pneumonia -- and from there, one severe medical issue after another piled up.

Samuel's wife, Shawna Stewart, tells TMZ ... Sam's brain continues to swell because ventricles have enlarged ... and they're not holding the cerebral fluid, which is resulting in seizures. He's undergone three brain surgeries, we're told.

She also says his left lung has partially collapsed.

David Charette is a Florida man who shouldn't be around cats ... because he allegedly killed some in a cruel way, using a blow dryer and a rag soaked in bleach. 

Those are the ugly allegations Charette is now facing -- and more -- from the Lee County Sheriff's Office. On Thursday, Charette was arrested and booked in the Lee County jail for aggravated animal cruelty on $100,000 bail.

Police body cam video shows officers checking on one of the kittens, then Charette being placed in the back of a squad car.

According to police, deputies arrived at Charette's Fort Myers home after getting a tip that someone was hitting and drowning a 2-month-old kitten named Luna.

Prosecutors say influencer Ash Trevino had relationships with over 50 inmates -- including ones in prison for aggravated robbery and murder -- over the past several years ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained court docs filed by Texas prosecutors in connection with her welfare fraud case. In the docs, they claim Ash engaged in relationships with approximately “50-75 inmates of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.”

Prosecutors added that the inmates were "currently incarcerated for various violent offenses including but not limited to aggravated robbery and murder.”

Huge win for Porsha Williams ... she scored a seven-figure divorce settlement and the house from her ex Simon Guobadia ... and she told a judge he agreed to quickly pay up the other money he owes, TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Porsha says Simon transferred his interest in the Atlanta mansion they once shared to Porsha through a quitclaim deed.

Porsha says Simon also agreed Porsha is entitled to $1,568,181.63 in reimbursement from his share of the property's equity and further agreed to give Porsha the title to a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost.

A judge said this week if Victoria has the surgery before or on Monday, Carmine's surrender date will be pushed until Sept. 18.

As we reported, Carmine is due to serve 15 months in prison after pleading guilty in September 2024 to wire fraud involving about $1.1 million in COVID-19 relief loans.

Matt Rife may want to think of a different comeback ... because he allegedly told a different person on the internet to kill herself during the same argument in which he told a paranormal expert with autism to "remove yourself from this Earth."
