That seemed to be the theme at Dennis Rodman's birthday party blowout this weekend ... and TMZ Sports has all the thong'd out footage.

It all went down at Sapphire gentlemen's club in Vegas -- where The Worm was constantly flanked by a team of talented twerkaholic strippers.

But it wasn't just about lap dances ... Dennis also mingled with fans, signed autographs and took pics with anyone who asked.

Miley made it cool ... and now ex-NFL star Phillip Buchanon is out to make twerking competitive ... by releasing a brand new Twerk-obsessed board game ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Buchanon invented a booty shaking based game called "Twerkin-It" where the winner is totally determined by who can shake dat ass the best.

"I did it in two nights, I saw everyone was twerking so I thought, 'What if there was a game that people could play to keep the party going?'"

How does one play a game based on a dance? Phillip says you combine the dance itself with the one thing that makes people do it ... alcohol.

Players spin to determine which twerk move they must perform (there are many, consult YouTube), with the bad twerker having to swallow their pride and take a shot of liquor.

So far the $29.99 games are selling like hotcakes according to Phillip ... thanks mostly to big time celeb endorsements from guys like Flo Rida, Pleasure P, and Miami rap god (and booty music pioneer) Uncle Luke.

Phillip says that despite the success of the game he'd still love to attach a big time female endorser as the face (or ass) of Twerkin-It ... and he has a wish list.

"Rihanna, Beyonce, Kim K, Amber Rose or Miley Cyrus."

Good luck Phillip ... and good work Kanye ... for batting a solid .400 with that group.

Blac Chyna says Tyga didn't just text her out of the blue this week trying to get back with her ... she says he's been making that play for 7 months.

Sources connected with Blac Chyna tell TMZ ... the text -- in which he said "I want to be with u" -- was the last in a flurry of texts, conversations and private face-to-face meetings in which he made his play to reconcile their relationship.

Sources close to Chyna says she never believed he was physically with Kylie Jenner -- partly because she's 17, and partly because they were all neighbors and close to the Kardashian family. She says she believed Tyga when he called out the media for suggesting he was dating Kylie, but doesn't believe it anymore.

Blac Chyna posted Tyga's texts out of anger, but she claims she wants nothing to do with him anymore. It's complicated by the fact that they have a kid together.

As for Tyga, he has never said he's with Kylie and in the past has denied it ... but he's recently insinuated it, and even put it in writing.

It's funny that Rihanna is the one in Hawaii ... because we're the ones enjoying the view.
