The bloody brawl Bobby Brown's family had last Thursday was blown way out of proportion ... says Bobby's nephew who was hit with a glass, but insists he'd never call his mom a "crackhead."

Shayne Brown tells TMZ he's got nothin' but love for his mom Tina Brown -- the two sat side by side at the vigil for Bobbi Kristina Monday night ... he claims she'd been drinking, and was upset a random friend crashed the family get-together at the W Hotel in Atlanta.

He says he was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time when she chucked the glass that struck him in the head ... later requiring 5 stitches.

Shayne insists the only tension in the family are the high emotions swirling around Bobbi Kristina.

Dr. Dre never asked Suge Knight for permission to include his likeness in the movie "Straight Outta Compton" ... and that sparked the fight which ended with the alleged murder in a parking lot.

Sources connected to Suge tell TMZ ... he got word he was included in the film, and wanted to talk to Dre about how he was being portrayed. As we've reported ... Suge's friend Terry Carter helped set up the meeting.

As for what Suge was so worried about -- a new trailer for the movie was just released, and there is a character whupping someone's ass in a studio ... who looks just like Suge.

TMZ broke the story ... Suge and Dre's sit-down never happened because Suge got into a fight with actor Cle "Bone" Sloan ... and eventually backed up over him and Carter.

Suge has been charged with Carter's murder, the attempted murder of Sloan, and hit and run.

Nicki Minaj did NOT diss her boss Birdman by taking sides in his battle with Lil Wayne -- TMZ has learned the Cash Money CEO's denial from her pre-Grammy party was just a case of bad timing.

Sources close to Minaj tell us ... Birdman was only denied from 1OAK nightclub because the mogul's posse was looking to order bottle service, and the club was closing in 15 minutes.

On top of that, we're told Nicki had already left and the houselights were on in the club.

Sources tell us Nicki -- as well as Drake -- have made a point to stay out of the ongoing legal beef between Weezy and Baby ... even though Wayne says he's taking them with him when he leaves Cash Money.

We're told Nicki and Drake are hoping their bosses can squash this before it gets too messy -- though that ship seems to have sailed long ago.

When Eddie Murphy returns to "SNL" for the first time in 30 years -- you can thank David Spade for making peace with him over the now legendary potshot that pissed off Eddie in the first place.

When our photog got David out in L.A. over the weekend ... he said he was looking forward to seeing Eddie at the upcoming 40th Anniversary Special -- and opened up about smoking the peace pipe with him.

If you don't recall ... Eddie has stayed away from "SNL," mainly because David cracked a joke comparing Eddie to a "falling star" back in the '90s.

Kanye West now says he was not suggesting Beck wasn't a "real artist" when he ranted an ultimatum that "real artists" might boycott the Grammys .. but it sure sounds like that's what he was saying.

Kanye, Kim and North West arrived in NYC Monday and he insisted he was not disrespecting Beck when he jumped on stage after Beyonce lost to the singer for Album of the Year.

But Kanye went on E! after the Grammys and said, "All I know is if the Grammys want real artists to keep coming back they need to stop playing with us," adding Beck should have given his Grammy to Beyonce.

The good news ... Kanye has gone from stone-cold silence to a talking machine.

As Bobbi Kristina lays near death ... the family is discussing funeral plans, but we're told the Browns are preparing for war because of the way they were treated when Whitney Houston died.

Sources connected with the Brown family tell TMZ ... they are a united front to this extent -- they refuse to be disrespected the way they feel they were at Whitney's funeral.

You may recall ... Bobby Brown stormed out of the funeral after security refused to let him sit with Bobbi Kristina during the service. Bobby told us at the time ... he was also furious the Houstons were angry that he dared to bring 9 members of his family with him.

We're told the feud has already reignited. Houston family security set up a perimeter around Bobbi Kristina's room shortly after she was taken to the hospital and there was a passcode to gain entrance. Many people in the Brown family were not given the code and it caused an uproar.

As one Brown family member told us, "If something happens to Bobbi Kristina, we will not be treated like children."

And we're told the angry discussions are not being held around Bobby Brown. He's gotten wind of the talks several times and he immediately shuts everyone down.

Birdman and his very big crew were turned away from Nicki Minaj's pre-Grammy party in West Hollywood early Sunday, and cops raced over to make sure things didn't get out of hand.

There's talk Nicki is going to bail on Birdman's Cash Money and follow Lil Wayne, so the fact that the mogul was sent walking seems like a big deal. He showed up at 1:45 AM and the club is supposed to close at 2, and you hear a guy at the door tell Birdman's posse the club was already closed.

At the same time, there was a good 15 minutes left and Birdman's kind of a big deal, and that may be why you hear someone say that Nicki didn't want him in.

Bobby Brown's bloody, bottle smashing family brawl was even more intense than we thought ... after hearing the 911 call one of the witnesses made.

The caller tells dispatch the fight was a violent free-for-all involving at least 8-10 people inside the W Hotel -- and someone had smashed a glass and was using it as a weapon.

10:50 AM PST -- Cops tell us the fight started over a valet parking ticket between Tina and her son. Cops also say a witness told them Shayne allegedly began throwing punches at his mother after he was hit.

As if Bobby Brown didn't have enough on his plate -- his family got into a bloody, bottle-smashing, all out melee during his birthday dinner Thursday night in Atlanta.

After Bobby left Bobbi Kristina's hospital bedside, he went to have dinner with his wife, siblings and cousins at their hotel restaurant ...where people got wasted, and things blew up. Family sources tell us Bobby's nephew, Shayne Brown, called his mother (and Bobby's older sis) Tina ... "a crackhead" ... and then she went off.

We're told Tina spit in her son's face and cracked a bottle over his head -- multiple punches were thrown ... and one witness says there was "blood everywhere."

When the dust settled ... 3 people were injured and we're told Shayne had to get stitches for the cut on his head.

It's open season on Cash Money Records -- rapper Turk of The Hot Boy$ is joining his homie Lil Wayne ... filing a lawsuit against Birdman's label for allegedly cheating him out of millions.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, Turk claims Birdman and Cash Money have done some shady accounting and kept the info on his real earnings under wraps ... and he wants his money.

Looks like Turk and Weezy had a chat because Turk says the label broke its deal with him -- and just like LW ... he's demanding a judge hand over rights to all of his music.

TMZ broke the story ... Lil Wayne is going in on Cash Money for $51 million.

Turk wants the court to void his contract and give him at least $1.3 million in damages.

Supermodel Chrissy Teigen is coming out swingin' against the woman who shot a pic of a sleeping Julian Edelman and posted it to Tinder ... slamming the whole thing stupid and ridiculous.

The woman who snapped the shot, Sabrina, has already been blacklisted from Boston nightclubs by people who feel she shamelessly violated the New England Patriot player's privacy.

And Wednesday at The Grove in L.A., Teigen told us the problem is bigger than it seems -- "A lot of chicks do that sh*t. It's so ridiculous."

Teigen explained, "Everyone's a little too proud nowadays. I think these girls should relax a bit."

Vivica A. Fox sounds like she's taking Kenya Moore to court for allegedly jacking her cell phone on "Celebrity Apprentice" ... because she's already got a witness, who she revealed last night.

Outside NYC's swanky Cipriani ... Vivica told a photog she was looking just too damn good to ever tweet about menopause, and then introduced her key witness -- her makeup artist.

Kenya, of course, denies stealing the phone or sending out the offending tweet, but check out the video -- Fox insists nothing was staged, and claims her makeup artist can prove it.

Bobbi Kristina has been moved to another hospital to get the best neurological treatment available in the area ... TMZ has learned, and the move is not without bitter family drama.

Family sources tell TMZ ... Bobbi Kristina is at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA which is considered one of the top facilities for neurological problems. She was at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA near her home where she was found face down in a bathtub Saturday.

It looks like the move could intensify a brewing feud between the families of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. We're told the families are bickering over who gets access to the part of the hospital where Bobbi Kristina is receiving treatment.

As one source put it, "The Houston family is sick of the Brown family acting up, as they always do."

Snoop Dogg and Diddy aren't just co-hosting a mega-party during NBA All-Star Weekend ... they're gunning to UNITE THE COASTS once and for all ... Snoop tells TMZ Sports.

The rap moguls have teamed up to co-headline "The Tip Off" mega-concert on February 12th at Madison Square Garden ... and they both want to use the event to help squash any East vs. West beef that may be lingering in the hip-hop world.

"It's been a long waited opportunity for two rap history giants to rep the East and rep the West with love," Snoop says.

"The fans wanted this one! Bringing the coasts together during NBA All-Star Weekend."

And check this out ... Snoop and Diddy could have even more in common this week -- Snoop's football star son is set to announce his college tomorrow ... and UCLA is reportedly in the mix.

Interesting, since Diddy's kid is already a member of the Bruins football team.

"Celebrity Apprentice" star Kenya Moore says Vivica A. Fox is off her rocker if she actually believes Moore hacked her cell phone while taping Monday night's episode.

Fox and Moore got into an epic boardroom blowout after Fox blasted her for swiping her phone and tweeting ridiculous things about menopause -- but Moore tells TMZ it's nothing but lies and accusations.

Moore says there's zero proof she hijacked the phone, and if she could, she'd be working for the CIA.

Sources close to the show say a ton of interns were on set, and would have had plenty of opportunity to grab the phone ... so, it's possible Kenya's innocent.

The conspiracy was never cleared up on the show ... since Trump fired Kenya.

Talk about kicking a man when he's down -- ex-NFL star Jeremy Shockey just threw some major salt in Warren Sapp's wound ... three years after Sapp called Shockey a "snitch" on TV.

Here's the backstory ... back in 2012, Sapp went on the NFL Network and said he had a "source" that told him Shockey was the "snitch" who ratted out the New Orleans Saints Bountygate scandal to the NFL.

Shockey denied the allegations -- and was furious that Sapp made the allegation.

Clearly, he's been holding a grudge and moments ago went on social media and posted the following note:

"Just heard from my SOURCE Warren Sapp charged with soliciting a prostitute! Damn so sad."

Yeah, clearly he's upset about it.
