Ludacris' baby mama is taking drastic measures to regain custody of their 1-year-old daughter ... SHE GOT A JOB!!!

According to our sources, Tamika Fuller took losing custody of daughter Cai to Ludacris very hard ... and is trying to get her life in order to gear up for an appeal of their custody arrangement.

Step one, we're told, is Tamika landed a gig in the hospitality industry ... and she's working nights, 40 hours per week to make enough money to support herself and Cai.

Meanwhile a more immediate court battle is looming. We're told Luda wants to take Cai out of the country on vacation, but Tamika thinks their daughter is too young for that kind of travel.

Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne's battle at "Fashion Police" is tearing down everything Joan Rivers built -- at least that's how show staffers feel ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the production tell us producers fear the uproar over the Zendaya joke will cause Giuliana to be more silent on the show -- because she'll be worried about further backlash.

We're told producers are worried the other show hosts will follow suit ... and it will no longer be the sassy show full of sarcastic humor that it used to be. They also wish both women had chilled after the on air apology ... because things would have blown over.

We're told Melissa Rivers is now doing everything in her power behind the scenes to keep her mom's legacy alive.

Wiz Khalifa believes in the motto, "If you don't succeed ..." because he threw a belated birthday party for Sebastian and this time the kid showed.

Wiz threw the bash at his home in Silver Lake Thursday. It was almost a carbon copy of the party he tried hosting last weekend, when Amber and 2-year-old Sebastian were no-shows.

Amber was not present this time around, which apparently was just fine with Wiz. He used his custody time to bring friends and family together to celebrate the BD.

Here's the good news ... Amber's name wasn't even mentioned, which is at least one small step in lowering the volume in what has become a super-bitter custody war.

The party was pirate-themed, so it's too bad Amber didn't show. Imagine her walking the plank.

Zendaya Coleman is locks free, but not 'cause she felt bullied by Giuliana Rancic ... it's because they're too damn tight.

The Disney star was in Hollywood Thursday night, walking arm in arm with her dad (who has locks), when a photog asked if she's still pissed at Giuliana for jumping to conclusions about her follicle choices on the Oscars red carpet.

Jon Stewart wanted a piece ... HE GOT THE PIECE!!!!

WWE superstar Seth Rollins hijacked Stewart's "Moment of Zen" on "The Daily Show" Thursday night ... in response to the smack talk video that Stewart recently made.

But Rollins didn't just talk the talk ... he then snuck up behind Jon and put him in a HEADLOCK!!!

It was pretty hilarious ... and fulfilled the promise Rollins made on "TMZ Hollywood Sports" ... when he said he'd whoop Jon's ass for running his mouth earlier this month.

And apparently the drama will continue ... with Jon promising to face off with Rollins on next week's "Monday Night Raw!!!!"

Kanye West wants to block Taylor Swift and Beck again ... but this time the stage is a courtroom.

Kanye's lawyer wants a judge to prohibit a photog, who's suing the rapper for assault, from making any reference to the two infamous interruptions at music awards shows.

Photog Daniel Ramos claims Kanye beat him bad at LAX and he's suing for what he claims are substantial injuries. Kanye's lawyers say the only reason to dredge up the 2009 MTV Music Awards -- where Kanye jacked Taylor Swift's acceptance speech -- and this year's Grammys -- where he jumped on stage after Beck won -- is to poison the jury by making Kanye seem like a bad guy.

In the legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Kanye's lawyer says the incidents aren't relevant, but what's really interesting is the admission that Kanye ended up looking bad. The lawyer says the videos would "cause jurors to form a negative opinion of West."

Ramos' lawyer, Gloria Allred, tells TMZ, "It is laughable that Kanye West appears to be so ashamed of his conduct that he doesn't want the jury to know what he did," adding, "Millions watched his conduct. Why does he want to hide it from a jury?"

BTW ... Kanye already pled no contest to criminal battery. He's on probation, which includes anger management courses.

Famed director David O. Russell went on a tear against Jennifer Lawrence and Harvey Weinstein during the filming of the movie "Joy" ... this according to an eyewitness on the set.

We're told there was a loud argument Tuesday on the Boston set between David and Jennifer, and it started over a scene. The eyewitness says David started screaming at her ... it was ear-piercing and laced with profanities.

A rep for the movie's studio -- Fox 2000 -- tells us yes, there was screaming, but it was all method acting. David was just getting J. Law amped-up for a scene in which she screams at someone.

But it doesn't end there. We're also told Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein showed up on the set Wednesday to say hi to Jennifer, but David ordered him to leave. Harvey got as far as the makeup trailer before getting booted.

The studio rep says Harvey was told Tuesday things were moving at warp speed and his visit would be a distraction, but he showed up anyway ... unannounced.

And the eyewitness tells us a major exec for Fox was reamed out by David because she was trying to defend the line producer who David wants to fire. The eyewitness says it got so bad the exec started crying. The studio rep says that's ridiculous ... there was a "heated" argument over the line producer, but she didn't cry.

You may recall David's nuclear argument with Lily Tomlin during filming of "I Heart Huckabees."

Kid Rock really loves otters when they come in the form of a jacket. Yeah, one a certain animal activist/ex-wife of his named Pamela Anderson might get pissed about this.

But we're guessing that was Kid's plan all along.

The clock is ticking very loudly for Birdman -- because the guy who discovered Drake says he's done talking about the millions he's owed for hooking up Cash Money with Drizzy.

Jas Prince talked to us about the lawsuit he recently filed ... as he was leaving Mr. Chow in Bev Hills. We asked if there's been any progress with Birdman on the financial front, and it's clear he -- like Lil Wayne and Turk -- doesn't have much left to say about the debt.

Keep in mind ... it was Jas' dad, James Prince, who issued a very threatening "courtesy call" to Birdman.

It's clear he's very fond of the jacket -- which he had monogrammed with a ridiculous pun -- but the whole exchange seemed purposely orchestrated to irk his animal-loving former flame.

Even with Pam suddenly single, it seems the third ceremony between her and Kid will NOT be happening.

Tyga's dalliance with 17-year-old Kylie Jenner don't mean a thing to the mother of Blac Chyna ... who tells TMZ she desperately wants her grandson's parents back together.

Shalana Hunter reunited with Tyga backstage at his concert last weekend in D.C. -- so the two clearly still have a relationship. She says she has "no feeling" about Tyga's relationship with Kylie, but she wants Tyga and Blac Chyna to work things out ... blaming the initial breakup on the follies of youth.

Hunter says she still thinks of Tyga like a son-in-law and has no ill will ... adding Tyga treats her with nothing but respect.

Kelly Osbourne just dropped an ultimatum on Giuliana Rancic and their "Fashion Police" bosses -- issue a mea culpa for saying Zendaya smells like a hippie pot smoker ... or she'll quit the show.

Kelly is responding to the firestorm Giuliana sparked with a comment about the Disney star's Oscar look -- which included new dreadlocks. Rancic said she thought Zendaya must smell like patchouli oil or weed. Kathy Griffin joined in on the "weed" comment.

Kelly went off on a Twitter rant, saying ... "I'm giving everyone involved 24 hours to make it right or the world will hear how I really feel." She added she doesn't condone racism and is seriously questioning staying on the show.

Osbourne reminded fans she's friends with Zendaya -- who herself blasted Rancic for making such an "outrageously offensive" stereotypical comment.

It sounds like no one involved is buying Giuliana's claim her remarks "had NOTHING to do with race."

4:30 PM PT-- Looks like Kelly has pull ... Giuliana just apologized again -- this time on the air during "E! News."

Charles Barkley is a lot of things, but delusional isn't one of them ... because the NBA legend seems to know exactly where he ranks in basketball supremacy ... and it's behind Kobe Bean Bryant.

Sir Charles was at LAX the other day when we asked him if he was disappointed "Selma" didn't win Best Picture at the Oscars. No, not because of THAT ... but because Chuck is from Alabama and famously paid for a lot of local kids to see the movie.

But when we changed the topic to Kobe -- and how the Mamba will be remembered once he hangs it up -- Chuck was quick to say he's not on Kobe's level ... not even close.

Fact is ... Charles is right, but you just don't hear athletes (especially NBA players) admit ANYONE is better than them.

The Pam Anderson/Rick Salomon war over his beloved Rottweiler Bumblebee is almost over -- the dog's been found, but has not been reunited with Rick and his daughters just yet.

According to our sources, Salomon's daughter Tyson and ex-wife E.G. found the dog at a Malibu pet hospital, where he has been boarded for the past five days. Pam previously booted Tyson and the dog from her Malibu home after TMZ posted a story about Rick filing for annulment. Pam had previously claimed Bumblebee was at the groomer, but that turned out to be false.

We're told E.G. and Tyson were not allowed to take Bumblebee home from the hospital because only Rick is the registered owner. Problem is ... Rick is currently working in Las Vegas.

We're told Rick should be back Tuesday night to go collect his dog.

As for why noted animal activist Pam would seemingly use the dog as a pawn in her battle with Rick -- we reached out to Pam for comment ... so far, no word back.

8:25 AM PT -- Gordon just tweeted a screen grab of a text he sent Bobby saying, "Man to man I love your daughter ... I don't know why you won't let me see her ... Your daughter is going to hate you when she wakes up. It's not like you know her anyways. What's her favorite color? What's her favorite smell, movies, food. You don't know. I forgive you she won't."

Nick Gordon is refusing to talk to cops about the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina ending up face down in a bathtub, and he's refusing to tell Bobby Brown as well.

Bobby Brown's lawyer, Chris Brown, says Gordon has refused to cooperate by coming clean with the events that led to the medical emergency and there's no reason to talk to him anymore about giving him a hospital visit.

Brown says, "It appears that Mr. Gordon did not want his understanding of the facts to be subject to the truthful examination of various experts or Bobby Brown himself."

Brown continues, "Mr. Gordon has every right to remain silent and not share his version of events with Bobby Brown," adding, "Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe."

TMZ broke the story ... Nick became the target of a criminal investigation after authorities noticed injuries to Bobbi Kristina's body when she was taken to the hospital.

Wiz Khalifa threw a big party Saturday for his son's birthday ... but the rapper says his 2 year-old never showed because ex-wife Amber Rose denied the kid a good time out of spite.

Wiz posted sad pics of the party with the caption, "only thing missing was Bash" -- referring to their son Sebastian.

Sources close to Wiz say Amber was supposed to bring Sebastian to the party and they would celebrate his birthday together ... as parents. Wiz says everyone was there and he's heartbroken the boy couldn't celebrate with civil parents.

Khalifa put Amber on blast, saying, "ive never voiced my true unhappiness out of fear of the person I was with and what she would do to make me more unhappy of anyone knew."

Wiz goes on to champion father's rights, saying, "Standing up for all fathers who need, deserve, or can't find help," adding, "As a man, and a dad you'll feel like, 'I got this.' But who got us?" In other words, the system doesn't protect fathers.

For her part, Rose posted videos of their son before and after the party.
