Rap genius Riff Raff confused the number 12 with the number 2 -- at least according to the landlord who says Mr. Raff came up way short on his rent checks.

The rapper's been ordered to cough up 10 months of unpaid rent plus interest and court costs -- which comes out to $69,288 ... according to docs. RR signed a 12 month lease for the San Fernando Valley pad in July 2014, but the landlord says he was gone by September. The place appears to be unoccupied these days.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian went through emotional turmoil during their recent home renovation, with Kim complaining she was footing the gigantic bill herself.

Our sources say during the final taping of Khloe's talk show in April, Kim was grousing that they had sunk $8 million into their Hidden Hills remodel and it was all her money.

We're told the renovation costs swelled to $10 mil. Our sources say the main reason they sunk so much into the $20 million estate ... Kanye couldn't make his mind up. He would order a change and when it was completed he'd take a look and tell contractors to rip it out and do it another way.

We're told she never lived in the 1,346 sq. ft house, which has hardwood floors and a brick fireplace. Maureen was repped by Liz Halen with White House Properties.

It's unclear who left Maureen the property, but we can confirm she did not play catch in the backyard. Probably for the best ...

High-powered attorney Roy Black -- who's pulled Justin Bieber and Kelsey Grammer's bacon out of the fire -- is hoping to squeeze more than a mil out of his Hollywood Hills home.

Black and his wife, former 'Real Housewife' Lea Black, have listed the fully remodeled 4 bedroom, 5 bath pad above Sunset Strip for $3.2 million. They bought it in 2004 for $1.76 mil, so looks like they may make a little profit.

Soulja's bragged he "spent $6 million on the new penthouse," but we're told that price is grossly exaggerated -- it's listed for $3.2 million -- plus, he simply doesn't own it.
