Blake Griffin -- along with at least one teammate and the team's equipment assistant -- had been drinking in the hours leading up to the fight in Toronto ... multiple witnesses tell TMZ Sports.

According to several witnesses, Griffin and the equipment manager were seen fighting outside of Sotto Sotto restaurant in Toronto on January 23rd.

Before the fight, witnesses say Griffin's crew was spotted at Coco Lezzone -- across the street from Sotto Sotto -- where the group ordered a couple rounds of drinks.

We're told the guys left Coco and went to Sotto ... where they spent roughly 2 hours before witnesses saw the men fighting in the street.

Clippers president Doc Rivers has said he does NOT believe alcohol was a factor -- though he did point out the guys are old enough to drink ... and drinking alone is not a crime.

We spoke with a rep for the Toronto PD who tells us there is no record of an incident involving Griffin -- however, "It is highly possible that police were in the area at the time and may have dropped in. In Toronto it is very likely and possible."

As we previously reported, cops say there is no investigation into Griffin -- and won't be unless someone files a formal complaint, which has not happened.

When reached for comment, a rep for Sotto Sotto had no comment.

We also spoke with the Clippers and reached out to Blake's rep -- but they have all declined comment as well.

Ray J and Princess Love's toxic relationship hit a new milestone -- a wedding engagement ... with one big catch.

We're told the on-again, off-again couple want to stick together for the long haul -- they're already making wedding plans -- but only if they both stay sober.

It had been a rocky road for them, and we're told alcohol was a key factor in their frequent break-ups -- one of which led to Ray J taking back the Bentley he'd gotten for her.

Ray J actually proposed back in October with an 8-carat rock worth $130k, and sweetened the deal with a diamond-smothered Rolex ... once she said yes.

We're told the relationship is solid now that they're booze-free. One silver lining to all their squabbles -- it was a great source of material for Ray's new "Curtains Closed" video.

Nick Carter attacked and choked an employee in the Key West bar where Nick got arrested ... according to the lawsuit that the employee just filed.

Skylar Carden is the bouncer, and in the lawsuit he says the Backstreet Boy was originally escorted out of the Hog's Breath Saloon for his "unruly and disrespectful" behavior. He says that's when Carter got physically aggressive -- "striking and choking" Carden.

Sources connected to the bar described the alleged assault as Carter squeezing Carden's larynx.

We broke the story ... Carter was busted for misdemeanor battery. Nick has said, "the truth will come out."

Carden's attorney, Mark DiCowden, says Carter is nothing more than a "backstreet thug" who inflicted mental anguish, pain and suffering on Carden. He adds his client was just doing his job and didn't deserve the attack.

Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman admitted smoking a strain of synthetic marijuana called "spice" before crashing his truck back in October ... this according to police.

Coleman -- who is legally deaf -- was arrested for vehicular assault and hit and run in Bellevue, Washington after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash in which the other driver sustained serious injuries.

Now, cops have released the 102 page report on the investigation -- in which officials say Coleman admitted smoking spice ... and also had a lighter, a glass spoon pipe with residue and an opened bag of synthetic weed labeled "F'd Up!" and 3 unopened bags of a strain called "Mad Pitbulls."

But get this ... despite the admission, cops say Coleman's blood tested NEGATIVE for marijuana. However, officials noted blood wasn't drawn until several hours after the accident.

Another interesting thing ... cops say Coleman's agent told cops the NFL player had "issues" at practice earlier in the day and had to be helped to his vehicle.

Officials say they reached out to the Seahawks and were provided footage which showed Coleman walked to his car completely normal. Translation -- cops say the agent is a liar.

There's more ... cops say they also found 2 knives in Coleman's car -- and a thigh strap to holster one of the knives.

Investigators also say they found THC hard candy (edibles) and watermelon ribbon edibles ... and eye drops.

Harry Styles walked away from his lunch with Rande Gerber with the greatest doggy bag in history ... 20 cases of really good tequila!

Turns out it was an awesome pre-birthday gift for Harry, who turns 22 February 1st. The tequila is Casamigos -- the brand Rande owns with best bud George Clooney.

We're told Harry will make good use of the booze ... he's throwing himself a birthday shindig this weekend at an L.A. estate.

Former NFL wide receiver Jabar Gaffney -- who played for the Texans, Patriots, Jets, Broncos and Dolphins -- was busted for weed in Florida Friday ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Cops say the 35-year-old -- who was a 2nd round pick in 2002 -- was pulled over in Jacksonville in his 2010 Ford F-250 truck for illegal window tint and failure to maintain a single lane.

During the stop, cops say the trooper noticed the strong smell of weed ... and later found 6.5 grams of the sticky icky.

He was arrested and booked for weed possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $7,000.

Lil Wayne is back on lean -- despite his close brush with death nearly three years ago -- and it's so bad he's bringing the stuff everywhere he goes.

Sources close to Weezy tell us he started sippin' the sizzurp a few months ago and hasn't even been hiding it by flashing his double cup. He's rarely been photographed without one in recent weeks ... even last week in Dubai where there's zero tolerance for the stuff.

We're told Wayne's not worried about his health -- it's never been back to 100 since he OD'd on lean and suffered several seizures, and as our source puts it, Wayne gives "zero f***s."

Lil Wayne told Katie Couric he quit lean cold turkey due to the seizures, but obviously a lot's changed since this 2013 clip.

Snoop Dogg says he has a strict NO POT POLICY when it comes to coaching in his youth football league ... and it's all because one of the players once called him out for being high.

Snoop opened up about the situation on "Kocktails with Khloe" on FYI Wednesday night ... saying, he was so affected when the kid called him out, he implemented a self-ban on the green stuff when he's around the kids.

"I went to practice high one day and one of the kids said 'coach, you smell like my momma's boyfriend.' And I had to check myself and I stopped smoking from that day for 180 days straight."

Stephanie Seymour escaped her DUI without one of those embarrassing celebrity mug shots, but it's not what you're thinking -- cops say she just got lucky due to a glitch.

TMZ broke the story ... the supermodel got arrested last Friday in Greenwich, CT. The State Police just released her booking photo, and quite frankly ... it looks like a happy candid shot taken while she's sitting and chatting with friends.

Cops tell us the photo was snapped as an officer was booking her and it's NOT a mistake. This is how CT State Police take mug shots now -- with a camera on an officer's desktop computer -- however cops say she should have been looking into the lens.

We're told it's unclear if human error or a computer glitch is behind the pic being taken at the wrong moment -- they've had "issues" with the new computerized system.

Either way, it worked out for Seymour.

Tip for DMX -- get arrested in Connecticut more often.

A famous British politician has admitted he's a full-fledged "poppers" enthusiast -- and says a proposed ban to outlaw the drug would be "fantastically stupid."

The man on the pro-poppers crusade is MP (Member of Parliament) Crispin Blunt -- an openly gay man who also happens to be the uncle of actress Emily Blunt.

Blunt was speaking about a bill to ban certain recreational drugs -- including poppers -- when he revealed that he's a big fan of the stuff ... sometimes used by gay men to prepare their bodies for sex.

"I use poppers," Blunt said ... "I out myself as a poppers user. And would be directly affected by this legislation. And I was astonished to find that it’s proposed they be banned and, frankly, so were very many gay men."

He continued ... "There are sometimes that something is proposed which becomes personal to you and you realize the government is about to do something fantastically stupid and in those circumstances one has a duty to speak up."

Blunt says a ban on the drug would force users to get it illegally -- putting people at risk.

"The issue is about supply and, what it might do to someone like me, is to put me into the hands of the criminals to get my supply for something that I used to think was perfectly OK."

Rodger Bumpass -- the actor who plays Squidward Tentacles on "SpongeBob SquarePants" -- was arrested Friday night for DUI.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops noticed a blue PT Cruiser stopped in the middle of a road just before 11 PM with a man leaning against the car.

When cops walked up to the guy -- Bumpass -- they say he walked away and was so unsteady he nearly fell.

Our sources say Bumpass confessed to driving just before cops spotted him and he was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.

Our sources tell us ... Bumpass' blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

11:08 PM PST -- According to the accident report ... Jamie and another civilian broke the window, cut the driver's seat belt and pulled him out of the truck.

Jamie Foxx may have saved a man's life after pulling him from a burning vehicle ... but he couldn't save him from getting busted for DUI.

TMZ broke the story, Foxx went into hero mode Monday night in Hidden Hills after a car flipped and caught fire outside his house. Foxx rescued the driver ... who easily could have been burned alive.

Law enforcement tells us the driver -- 32-year-old Brett Kyle -- was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries -- and then booked for DUI.

Stephanie Seymour got a DUI ... after allegedly going the wrong way at a stop sign.

The supermodel was arrested on Friday night in Greenwich, CT. According to Connecticut State Police, Stephanie was stopped on an off-ramp from I-95 when another car came up and stopped behind her. Instead of going forward ... cops say Stephanie threw her 2015 Range Rover into reverse and hit the other vehicle.

She refused to take a field sobriety test, even though the officer on the scene said she smelled like booze, was unsteady on her feet and had bloodshot eyes.

The driver of the other car did not report any injuries.

"The Sandlot" star who has been charged with felony assault helped beat a grad student within an inch of his life ... according to new legal docs.

Michael Vitar, who played Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez in the flick, allegedly attacked the 23-year-old USSB student on Halloween night.

According to a search warrant obtained by TMZ, 2 of Vitar's friends, both of whom are firefighters, spotted Samuel Chang passing out candy in the street of his gated L.A. community. The firefighters suspected Chang was passing out tainted candy and confronted him.

The warrant claims the 2 firefighters began beating on Chang, restraining him with a chokehold. The legal docs claim Vitar -- now a firefighter as well -- joined in, mid beating.

The warrant says the beating was so bad Chang's pulse stopped and the firefighters had to get their gear and revive him.

Chang was taken to the hospital with horrific injuries, including burst blood vessels in the eye, bleeding on the brain, kidney failure and hemorrhaging due to suffocation.

Chang had recorded the audio of the beating on his cell phone, and cops believe they can hear Vitar say, "I got the legs."

The student says he smelled alcohol on the breath of one of the firefighters. The firefighters told cops they believed Chang was under the influence of PCP, but doctors found no drugs in his system.

TMZ Sports spoke with John Schwartz -- the owner of the Amuse Bouche Winery in Napa Valley -- who tells us the special 5 liter Jerobaum bottle of 2012 cabernet was specially made for #24.

"The wine was made by famed winemaker Heidi Barrett," Schwartz tells us -- Barrett happens to be one of the most famous winemakers in the country.

Schwartz would not put an exact number on the value of the bottle -- but says similar bottles usually sell for "tens of thousands of dollars."

"This one is one of a kind ... it's priceless."

In fact, the bottle was hand-etched and then painted specifically for Bryant -- by request of the owners of the Warriors who are personal friends with Schwartz.

Bryant was also gifted a Napa vacation package -- complete with dinners at some of the best restaurants in the area.

Lil Wayne's giant eyes, and giant double cup, are telling a story here.

No, he's not at a strip club ... he's in VIP Room, one of the biggest clubs in Dubai. Yes, Dubai, U.A.E -- in the Middle East -- which has a zero tolerance for drug use that includes VERY stiff punishments.

So, sipping on sizzurp -- from a dead-giveaway double cup bigger than his head -- doesn't seem like the smartest decision for Weezy, who was BUGGING out about something.

Of course, he's Weezy, so maybe regular rules don't apply to him ... even in the Middle East.
