Gisele -- Hottest Pilot Ever

Published | Updated

In case of a water landing, your seat backs aren't the only thing that can be used as a flotation device.

Sources tell TMZ Gisele Bundchen is in the process of getting her helicopter pilot's license. We're told she's been taking lessons at the Marshfield Airport in Marshfield, Mass. for a couple of weeks now.

In order to complete her license, she'll need to complete 65 hours of flight time (at about $225/hr).

The friendly skies are about to get a lot friendlier.

BTW -- Gisele was spotted out this weekend looking very babybumptastic. Is flying good for the fetus?

Sue Larry King at Your Own Peril

Published | Updated

Larry King -- or more specifically his wife Shawn -- doesn't take too kindly to people they feel file frivolous lawsuits against them.

King's company, Larry King Enterprises, and his driver are being sued over a fender bender that went down back in November 2008. The two plaintiffs claim they suffered serious injuries and are suing for damages in excess of $50,000.

But that's not the way the Kings see things.

Spotted: Gossip Girl's Record Contract

Published | Updated

Little J has to pay big bucks to her record company if she takes on any acting gigs with "musical elements" -- but there's a catch...

We just got our hands on Taylor Momsen's record contract with Interscope Records -- dated March 17, 2009 -- which states if she takes a role as a musician or band member -- she has to fork over 10% of her paycheck for that gig to her musical overlords.

Now to the catch -- Momsen included a clause in the contract which allows her to sing her little heart out for free on two projects ... "Gossip Girl" and an upcoming "Runaways Project."

The only Runaways project we've heard of is the Joan Jett bio-pic staring Kristin Stewart -- and as far as we know, Taylor isn't part of the cast.

So, either we just blew a huge Hollywood secret ... or the 16-year-old got a serious taste of bigtime movieland rejection.

Jon Gosselin Won't Charge for John Hancock

Published | Updated

We're not sure who would have paid $7 for an autograph of Jon Gosselin -- but it turns out it was never even an option.

Gosselin is scheduled to appear today at Frightworld in Buffalo, NY -- and a local paper wrote that Gosselin was charging $7 for his autograph (which by our math, is about $7 more than it's worth).

But alas, it's not true. Jon's people tell us he never agreed to any such arrangement. In fact, Jon is doing the appearance as part of his efforts to launch the Jon Gosselin Children's Foundation -- which, we're assuming, helps children who have been exploited by reality television shows. Kidding. Kind of.

Audrina's Alleged Stalker Back on the Streets

Published | Updated

Audrina Patridge's alleged stalker is out of jail and free to go wherever he wants ... except, of course, for the 100 yards or so he's been ordered to stay away from Ms. Patridge.

We've learned 24-year-old Zachary Loring was released from jail yesterday, after being arrested Tuesday on two outstanding warrants.

The warrants were issued after Loring skipped out on a few anger management classes -- which he was supposed to attend following his May arrest for vandalism and disturbing the peace.

Yesterday the judge freed Loring under the condition he finishes the anger management classes within the next two months.

While he was locked up, Loring was served with Audrina's restraining order.

Drew Carey -- One Hell of a Lunch Date

Published | Updated

Drew Carey is still the patron saint of free lunches in Hollywood.

The "Price Is Right" host became famous during the writers' strike for picking up the tab for any striking writer who flashed their WGA card. Now, we've learned Drew has expanded his generosity to include everyone.

A spy at Swingers in Los Angeles says Drew bought everyone in the restaurant lunch between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM this past Thursday. Drew even let his Twitter followers in on the act when he posted, "I'm at Swinger's at 8020 Beverly Blvd in LA. Anybody who gets here by 2pm and is prepared to leave a good tip, your meal is on me."

One patron told us they added a brownie sundae onto their order -- once they learned it was all on Drew.

Katherine Jackson Can Challenge Administrators

Published | Updated

The probate judge in the Michael Jackson estate case has ruled Katherine Jackson can challenge the special administrators and not forfeit her position as a beneficiary in Michael's will.

As a result of the ruling, Katherine can now safely challenge special administrators John Branca and John McClain without jeopardizing her position in the will -- she's set to get 40% of the net value of the estate.

The will has a "no contest" clause -- which means any beneficiary who contests the will gets aced out of inheriting anything. But the court has now ruled challenging the special administrators is not a "contest" of the will itself.

Interestingly, the court specifically ruled .... Katherine objecting to the special administrators on grounds there was some sort of "undue influence" imposed on M.J. is not a "contest" under the will.

Cops Have Second Suspect in Lindsay Break-In

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned the LAPD has a second suspect in the Lindsay Lohan/Audrina Patridge burglary cases.

Law enforcement sources say they believe the woman in the surveillance video is Rachel Lee, who they think helped Nicholas Prugo burglarize Lohan's joint. We're told the pair are also suspected in the burglary of Audrina Patridge's L.A. home.

How's this for detective work -- if you look at Prugo's Facebook page, you'll see a photo of Rachel Lee -- she's a dead ringer for the person caught on Lindsay and Audrina's surveillance cams.

Prugo has already been arrested for the Lohan burglary and he's a suspect in the Audrina case.

Published | Updated

Fergie's voodoo skills have landed her in court.

Fergie, Will.i.am and others have been sued by Grounded Music, which claims Fergie's "Voodoo Doll" song is a rip-off of "Waterfall," a song recorded by the group Groundation.

Grounded Music, which holds the copyright to "Waterfall," alleges in the federal lawsuit that the 2006 Fergie song, "is substantially and strikingly similar" to "Waterfall," which was recorded in 2000.

The suit seeks unspecified damages.

Lou Ferrigno -- Too Hip To Park

Published | Updated

There's a damn good reason bodybuilding legend Lou Ferrigno was parked in a handicap space when he hit Gold's Gym in Venice a few days ago -- and it all has to do with Michael Jackson.

TMZ spoke with Ferrigno's wife, who told us the bodybuilding legend recently underwent a hip surgery -- not to mention he already has "a fake hip and two fake knees."

But here's the rub: Ferrigno -- who was Michael Jackson's personal trainer -- only scheduled his most recent hip surgery after following Michael's advice.

Ferrigno told us that while he was pumping MJ up for the ill-fated "This Is It" tour, Jackson encouraged him to do "Dancing with the Stars." Lou -- who knew he had a bad hip -- listened to MJ and met with the "Dancing" people.

Lou claims the "Dancing" people loved him -- so he decided to get hip surgery so he could be on the show. But Lou says after the surgery, the "Dancing" people "blew him off" and he was never officially invited to do the show.

So now Lou is still recovering from the surgery -- hence the handicap parking. But due to the fact that Lou told us he dominated the stair-stepper earlier this week ... we're assuming he'll be back to parking in a regular spot pretty soon.

Jessica's Doggy Help -- Calling Off the Search

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned the group of experts aiding Jessica Simpson in the quest for her lost dog is officially calling off their search.

Sources close to the situation tell us Simpson and the FindToto.com people have exhausted every possible resource to find Jessica's precious Daisy -- last spotted in the grasp of a wild coyote.

We're told Simpson's camp used tracking dogs, scoured neighborhoods, put up posters, power-dialed neighbors and did everything else they could to find a clue ... but came up short.

We're even told a pet psychic offered to help, but we're not sure if Jessica actually accepted the supernatural offer.

Jessica still has hope ... but that hope seems to be fading pretty quickly.

Baby Mama to David Caruso: You're Off the Hook

Published | Updated

David Caruso probably feels like a million bucks right now -- 'cause we've learned his baby mama just dropped her million dollar lawsuit against the actor.

Liza Marquez, the mother of David's two children, filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court last week requesting the dismissal of her mega-sized lawsuit against the "CSI: Miami" star.

The doc states Liza "is not recovering anything of value" from the lawsuit.

As TMZ first reported, Marquez claimed Caruso promised to give her $1 million plus attorneys fees when the couple split -- after the birth of their second child.

When he allegedly didn't pay up, she sued for fraud, breach of settlement, and emotional distress.

It's unclear why Marquez dropped the suit.

Chris Brown -- The Cost of Extra Protection

Published | Updated

Chris Brown is not only paying his debt to society -- he's also paying for an extra security team to protect him while he's doing it ... and we know how much the hired muscle is gonna cost him.

Besides the normal police supervision, we're told Brown had an extra three off-duty cops watching over him during his first two days in the hard labor program. We're told each off-duty cop makes a minimum of $28 per hour -- and since Brown requested their service, he's responsible for paying them.

Even if Brown knocks it down to one extra cop per day -- for the remaining 178 days he has left to serve -- and even if the extra cop only works a 5 hour day ... Brown will still be in the hole $25,760.

Ironic that a guy convicted of felony assault is paying so much for protection.

Kanye -- The Unkindest Cut of All

Published | Updated

Wolfgang Puck has a P.R. problem -- one Kanye West ... and he's screwing with the menu.

CUT -- Wolfgang's Bev Hills restaurant -- has menus with pics of various celebs on the cover, including Kanye West, President Barack Obama, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Angelina Jolie.

Last night, several tables got dealt Kanye menus and complained to the server, who obliged by trading up.

We spoke with the manager of CUT, who confessed people were handing back Kanye menus even before his hateful VMA stunt last Sunday. We think you know his record.

But truth be told, the manager says people have also turned back menus featuring Obama and Arnold.

The restaurant will boldly continue to deal in Kanye.

Lohan Suspect -- Accused of Burglarizing Audrina

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned the guy who was arrested on suspicion of breaking into Lindsay Lohan's house is also suspected of hitting Audrina Patridge's pad too.

Cops believe 18-year-old Nicholas Prugo broke into Audrina's Los Angeles home back in February ... and then Lohan's pad in August.

In both instances, security cameras captured several people entering the homes -- one of those people was a young male wearing a baseball cap and a t-shirt.

Prugo was arrested earlier today on suspicion of burglary -- a felony. He's currently being held on $20,000 bail.
