Ariel Winter's mom now has a fool for a client -- herself -- because her lawyer just quit.

In legal docs, obtained by TMZ, attorney Roy Penuela says there's been a fundamental disagreement between him and Chrystal Workman ... so he wants out.

Chrystal is fighting to regain custody of the "Modern Family" star, who is now under the care of her older sister after claims of physical and emotional abuse.

Penuela says Chrystal has made it "unreasonably difficult" for him to do his job. He's also apparently pissed over attorney's fees.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Joseph Baena is turning 16 today ... and he's getting the perfect gift from his dad -- A COMPLETE HOME GYM ... TMZ has learned.

In case you haven't noticed, Joseph is a behemoth -- a virtual carbon copy of a very young Austrian immigrant ... and Arnold clearly feels the apple may not fall far from the gigantic redwood tree.

Although Joseph lives with his mom in Bakersfield ... we've learned Arnold has established a very close relationship with the boy. They talk regularly on the phone and Arnold has flown him to several premieres.

As one source put it, "Once the truth came out, Arnold embraced Joseph. Since then, they've been slowly building a great relationship."

FYI -- Arnold started pumping iron around the time he was 16 and he quickly blew up to become Mr. Universe. So, current Mr. Bakersfield ... watch your back!

If Katherine Jackson wins her lawsuit against AEG ... the BIG winner isn't really Katherine or Michael's 3 kids ... more likely it's Jermaine Jackson, along with Tito, Randy and Marlon.

We got Jermaine out in Calabasas yesterday ... and we asked if Katherine provided for him in her will, but he dodged the question.

Here's the significance. Katherine is suing for $10 BILLION. If the jury awards her a substantial amount of money, it would almost certainly go to her kids when she dies, and here's why -- Michael's children won't need the money for two reasons.

First, the 3 kids are also suing, so any judgment would probably be more than enough for them to live off of. Also, when Katherine dies, they'll pretty much get the vast fortune that has been accumulated in the MJ Estate.

The logical people who would get Katherine's money would be hubby Joe and their kids. Katherine has been sparing in terms of what she gives Joe -- they don't live together anymore, so her kids would almost certainly be the primary beneficiaries of what she leaves behind.

Apparently Britney Spears heard Kevin Federline's threat loud and clear ... because she's backed off her comment that Sean Preston will join her on stage for her Vegas concert series.

Britney said in an interview during her big announcement last month ... "Preston will probably be on stage but I think Jayden would have a hard time with it."

The next day we got video of K-Fed ... and he made it clear, his 8-year-old would NOT be performing with Britney.

Britney's rep tells TMZ ... she was "joking" when she said Sean Preston would join her on stage. Frankly, it didn't sound like a joke. What's more, there's history ... the kid occasionally came out and danced on stage during her Femme Fatale tour.

In fact, during Britney's Circus tour back in 2009 ... K-Fed had beef with Brit over taking the kids on the road, but he settled it after getting $5k a week, as well as, all-expenses paid when he joined them on the road.

It's not like Oprah Winfrey to screw up when it comes to TV programming, but she just made a huge mistake by cutting Lindsay Lohan's mom and dad from her reality show.

Amanda Bynes has been moved from the psych ward of a major hospital to a ritzy rehab place in Malibu for her own good ... so say her parents.

Rick and Lynn Bynes are responding to our story that Amanda was moved 3 weeks ago from the UCLA Medical Center to The Canyon rehab facility in Malibu.

Amanda's parents -- through their lawyer Tamar Arminak -- say the move was on the advice of doctors at UCLA, and that she is making "great strides towards recovery."

Sources close to Amanda tell TMZ, "Amanda was stuck with people in much worse condition than her. She was scared, afraid and did not leave her immediate room area." The lawyer adds, at the rehab place, "She is getting specialized psych care, one on one treatment, not drug rehab."

Our source says Amanda is able to walk around the grounds, see the ocean and ride the horses.

Lindsay Lohan's OWN reality show producers want nothing to do with her parents, and TMZ has learned ... an executive decision was made to ban them from the show.

Michael and Dina Lohan will NOT film a single scene for the upcoming series. No one will even refer to DiLo's DWI arrest earlier this month -- according to production sources.

We're told producers were struggling a few weeks back with the show's direction ... and after intense debate decided to not include the "Lohan family circus."

We're told cameras did capture Michael and Lindsay together on 3 days -- but it's unclear whether that footage will make the final cut ... and there won't be any further shooting with daddy dearest.

Our sources say the show will stick to its original focus -- Lindsay's "comeback and recovery" ... which is what she agreed to from the get go.

Lamar Odom has had it with his dad and will no longer pay his rent ... and the clock is ticking before Joe is thrown out on the street.

Joe Odom tells TMZ ... Lamar called him earlier this week and went BALLISTIC over the comments Joe made about him and the Kardashians.

Joe claims Lamar has been paying his rent for 4 years -- a hefty tag of $2,900 per month -- but Lamar made it clear to Joe ... he's on his own now.

Joe tells us he can't afford the rent ... so he'll be out at the end of next month -- barring a reconciliation.

Paulina Rubio needs to have her head examined because she's frickin' crazy ... so claims her ex- husband who is trying to get a judge to order a psych evaluation on her.

We broke the stories ... Paulina and Nicolás Vallejo-Nájera have been battling for more than a year over their son. It's ultra-bitter, with each accusing the other of alienating the boy from them.

Vallejo-Najera is now pulling out all the stops. He claims she hasn't undergone a psych exam as ordered by the judge, so he now wants hizzoner to make it clear -- she better get her head shrunk, or else.

Zac Efron may have found refuge from his modern-day troubles ... by looking to the ancient past -- namely ... the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru.

Lamar Odom did indeed tweet his support of the Kardashian family earlier this week -- contrary to what his friends are saying.

An angry tweet -- purportedly from Lamar -- went out a few days ago, in response to his father claiming the Kardashians are the reason he's fallen into a deep, dark hole.

The tweet trashes his dad, and then praises the Kardashians -- "He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return," adding, "They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time."

A source close to the Kardashian family tells TMZ ... just before pressing the button, Lamar called the family, saying he was about to tweet the message.
