Tyrese Wins Lawsuit Over ... Book About Ailing Mother
Tyrese just won a huge case against the woman he blasted for taking advantage of his mother -- a verdict that will save him $83,000!
Cynthia Banks wrote a book about Tyrese's mother and her struggles with alcoholism. Tyrese didn't support the project and publicly shamed the author ... who then sued him in Texas for defamation. She initially won a judgement in the case because Tyrese never responded.
Tyrese fought that ruling by filing to have the judgment tossed, and he won it on Monday. He was going to have to pay Banks $83k ... but now he's off the hook.
Tyrese went to Dallas for the verdict, but had to leave his mother's hospital bedside. We're told she's currently in critical condition ... and on a ventilator in an L.A. area hospital.

No word on a middle name.
The baby clocked in at 8 pounds 1 ounce.
It's a good thing they came up with the name ... Cedars-Sinai Medical Center would not release Kim until the boy's name appears on the birth record.

Nicolas Cage Hailed for Helping ... Track Down Kidnapping Victim
Nicolas Cage's most heroic role yet is the real-life social media move he made that helped cops find a missing 15-year-old, and her alleged captor ... according to her parents.
We talked to Britton Ramsey, stepdad to Alexis Boroviak-- the 15-year-old Ohio girl whose missing person's case went viral when Cage agreed to take a pic with Ramsey and the missing poster.
Alexis was found 2 days ago ... allegedly held against her will by 41-year-old Chris Schroeder, a man she reportedly met online. Sources close to the investigation tell TMZ, cops tracked her down through a social media link they traced back to the suspect's computer.
Britton told us he thinks the social media awareness around Nic's pic absolutely spread the word -- and even helped him navigate some bad neighborhoods. He says while he was searching, people would recognize him as "the Nicolas Cage guy" and then stop to help out.
Britton says he hasn't seen Nic since he took the photo, but would love to buy him a beer.

Coco posted this pic 4 days after giving birth, and it looks like the only place she's still carrying an ounce of baby weight is her chest.
A rear view might change our minds on that though.

Sandra Bullock Meet My New Kid ... Sorta
Congrats to Sandra Bullock ... she's the new mom of a 3 1/2 year old girl, and she just got one of most unique Hollywood introductions we've ever seen.
Sandra's announcement about adopting Laila is People's new cover story -- and there's an adorable family shot of Mom, daughter, and big bro, Louis. It's interesting though ... what you don't see is Laila's face.
The cover ONLY shows the back of her head. There's a bunch of pics inside the mag too -- but not a single one shows the cute little girl's full face. It seems like it was done on purpose, but it's unclear exactly why. Maybe privacy?
Either way... mazel tov!

Everyone chill ... the Kardashian/Jenner Thanksgiving family portrait was NOT photobombed -- turns out the random dude in camo is super tight with Kanye West.
Our Kardashian sources tell us the guy's name is Sakiya Sandifer and he's practically family. He grew up with Kanye in Chicago, and they co-authored "Thank You and You're Welcome" ... the 2009 book of sayings that inspired Kanye. He also wrote his own book, "Think Think Think and Think Again."
We're told the thoughtful guy happened to be in L.A. on biz, so Yeezy invited him for turkey dinner.
This wasn't his first rodeo with the fam -- Sakiya was in Kim and Kanye's wedding, and walked Kylie down the aisle.

Sinead O'Connor Ranting Against Her Family Again ... 'You're Dead to Me'
Sinead O'Connor is alive and (physically) well and back at it again ... blasting her family and calling them "child stealing murderers."
O'Connor once again took to Facebook to trash her children, a few baby daddies and her sister ... saying, "I'm s*** to you. You're dead to me. You killed your mother. You stole my sons."
The vitriolic diatribe was her second in as many days ... after her first note, posted Sunday morning, appeared to be a suicide note directed to those same family members.
O'Connor claimed in that post to have taken an overdose of pills, but she was later found "safe and sound" in Dublin and was reportedly getting medical attention.

Chris Rock Mystery Girl's Dad Says She Was Not Adopted ... Mum on Money
The biological father of the 7-year-old girl who lived with Chris Rock and his estranged wife for 7 years tells TMZ the Rock family never adopted the little girl, but he refuses to say if any money changed hands.
Crispen Khanyile says his ex-girlfriend gave birth to Ntombi on February 23, 2008 ... this according to a private investigator's report commissioned by an interested party in the case. According to the report, both Crispen and the mother, Precious Ndebele, were unemployed at the time, living on the outskirts of Johannesburg.
The couple had 2 other kids and it appears the situation was increasingly desperate. When the private investigator interviewed Precious last year, she said she was living in a slum and selling secondhand clothes on the streets. The investigator said the conditions were "not conducive for human living."
Crispen would not discuss the arrangement with the adoptive parents, but simply said we should speak with Malaak, Chris' estranged wife.
It's interesting ... the P.I. says Crispen told him last year Ntombi was living with adoptive parents in the U.S., but when we spoke with Crispen on Wednesday, it was clear ... there was NO adoption.
As we reported, Ntombi has been living in the U.S. with the Rock family on a visitor visa, requiring her to return to South Africa once a year. Chris has not seen the girl since he split with Malaak and we're told he believes she did something shady to get Ntombi into the U.S.
And one final twist ... Malaak's lawyer just broke his silence and said his client is actively trying to legally adopt Ntombi. He did not say when the process started or what has taken so long.

Casey Kasem Kids Sue His Widow
Casey Kasem's kids and his brother think his widow abused him so badly it caused his 2014 death.
Julie, Mike and Kerri Kasem just filed a lawsuit against Jean Kasem for wrongful death. In the docs, they say Jean repeatedly blocked them from seeing their father, and they say that separation caused him great emotional distress.
The children along with Casey's brother, Mouner, say their father was doing as fine as could be -- considering he had dementia -- when Jean took him on a 7 day journey all over the Western U.S. ... but when they returned, he had a massive bed sore that was deeply infected, according to the docs.
The suit also says Casey's death, on Father's Day, was the result of a staph infection, UTI, and sepsis ... all brought on by Jean's neglect.
Jean dodged criminal charges for elder abuse back in May ... when L.A. prosecutors cited insufficient evidence of any wrongdoing. We're told that didn't sit well with Casey's children, and their frustration was part of their motivation to file this lawsuit.
They're suing for $250,000 for Casey's pain and suffering during his life, as well as a host of other damages.

Chris Rock Mystery 7-Year-Old Lived with Family on Pleasure Visa
The 7-year-old South African girl who mysteriously began living with Chris Rock and his now estranged wife for years has been in the U.S. with the help of a visitor visa ... TMZ has learned.
As TMZ reported, a little girl named Ntombi began living with Chris and Malaak in 2008, when she was just 6 months old. There is no evidence the Rock family ever adopted the child, but they treated her like a daughter, making her part of the family and enrolling her in school.
Our sources say Ntombi entered the country on a B2 "visitor for pleasure" visa. The visa allows the visitor to stay in the U.S. for up to 1 year, after which time the visitor must go back to her country and fill out paperwork before coming back.
We're told Ntombi and Malaak went back to South Africa every year and reconnected with the girl's biological family, which included a mom, a dad, a brother and a sister. We're told each time, Ntombi and Malaak returned to the U.S. in short order.
Sources connected with Chris say he has no idea if money ever changed hands from his family to Ntombi's parents. We tried reaching Malaak's lawyer, but never got a call back.

The Gap Band Lawsuit I Dropped a Bomb on My Brother
R&B legend "Uncle" Charlie Wilson is at war with his brother over just who exactly IS The Gap Band ... and who gets to keep making money off of the name.
Ronnie Wilson filed a lawsuit claiming Charlie is derailing his efforts to launch a comeback tour. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Ronnie says he recently booked 2 big gigs -- one at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in NYC, and another at Howard Theatere in Washington, D.C.
Ronnie says after he sealed the deals, Charlie -- who left the band in 2009 -- had his people step in and somehow interfere with the bookings. Ronnie says both venues pulled the plug.
The elder Wilson points out his band existed for years before kid bro Charlie joined in '72.
Ronnie says his new Gap Band stood to make more than $20k from the 2 gigs. He's suing for damages and to get the court to block Charlie from interfering with future bookings.
His point -- you might have been the lead singer, but this band is MINE, bro.
