Donatella: What the Hell Is She Saying?!

Published | Updated

Middle-age Mutant Ninja mumbler Donatella Versace launched her perfume today, and told the assembled international press ... well, perhaps you can figure it out.

The Muppet-faced fashionista released her eponymous fragrance, "Versace," at Harrods in London today, and though she reportedly spoke both English and Italian to reporters -- saying something about anger and mystery -- subtitles are clearly required to understand the mushmouthed perfumer.

In a swift marketing move, Donatella is not the face of her perfume, which we will henceforth call "Donasmella."

Piven: Shopper Anonymous

Published | Updated

Normally, when celebs hit popular shopping districts like Robertson Blvd. or Melrose Ave., they have to worry about being hounded by photographers and fans. Not Jeremy Piven.

The Emmy-winner hit up the trendy Thesis boutique on Melrose the other day, and without the aide of a wig, hat or glasses -- went entirely unnoticed. Piven picked up a $600 brown leather jacket by Rare, and was overheard saying he would definitely be back for more. When a store employee asked him if he would like to be added to their mailing list, Jeremy initially agreed. The HBO star then retracted and revealed that he shouldn't give out his address because he "has a lot of stalkers." Really?!

A source shopping alongside Jeremy tells TMZ that, once again, Piven wasn't recognized and was asked by the genuinely concerned shopkeeper why he gets stalked so much. Poor Piven then had to rattle off his credits to identify himself, boasting about his work on "Entourage" and "Smokin' Aces."

No word on if they hugged it out -- that would have required the salesperson to have watched an episode of "Entourage." Being a salesperson is the second hardest job in the world.

Few actresses can disappear into a character so completely, that you forget who they are -- while some actresses can disappear behind a parking meter, so that you can't see who they are.

Thus marks a trip to the beauty salon for hooded, high-heeled, peroxided mega-twin, Mary-Kate Olsen, photographed yesterday while feeding ... a meter. MK dipped into Neil George Salon for what appears to be a tweak on her blinding bleach job, emerging from the shop with a more golden hue to her blinding 'do.

Miley Cyrus, Avril n' Paris

Published | Updated

"Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus might be the next Paris Hilton or maybe even Avril Lavigne.

No, she didn't adopt a kinkajou, nor has she gone around spitting on photogs. But like Paris and Avril, she's fallen in love with accessory designer Tarina Tarantino's original jewelry line.

Miley made an appearance on MTV's "TRL" while sporting Tarina's B&W MOD bracelet. The fashion-forward 14-year-old starlet, daughter of "Dancing With the Stars" competitor Billy Ray Cyrus, riled up the crowd and showed off her big girl fashion sense.

She may be following in Paris' fashion footsteps, but one's thing's for sure, this girl has talent!

Olsen Twins: Will Shop for Food

Published | Updated

Despite their attire and the shopping cart, the Olsen Twins are not homeless!

Ashley and her stylistically-challenged sister, Mary-Kate, terrorized a West Hollywood supermarket on Monday with their livin' on the streets fashion horror.

A menacing MKO outdid herself, sporting the latest in gross-ery chic: a pair of red, striperella cha-cha heels and a fried white-blonde Donatella 'do. For her own safety, Ashley hid behind a flower arrangement while decked out in a pair of Sacajawea lace-up boots. Spare some change?

It takes millions of dollars to look this bad.

Hilton & Cuthbert: Shop U.

Published | Updated

Move over Kim Kardashian, Caroline D'Amore and Nicole Richie, because Paris Hilton has a new BFF tutee -- Elisha Cuthbert.

Paris schooled Elisha on how to shop like an heiress, as the two hit up one of her favorite fashion institutions, trendy Sielian's Vintage Apparel on Saturday. The boutiquing blonde babes rummaged through every nook and cranny of the shop's stylish racks, with Paris picking up 20 vintage dresses, 12 purses, 12 necklaces and 12 vintage scarves, clearly preferring to buy by the dozen. Phew! Luckily, Professor Hilton left something for Elisha to study, as the former "24" star managed to find some super-cute 60s hats.

Paris spent the day educating Elisha on all her favorite L.A. retail haunts, and was overheard telling a Sielian's employee, "You're the only place I took Elisha for great vintage!" Quite an endorsement coming from a girl who majored in International Mall Relations with a minor in Fitting Room Science.

Later on teacher and student hit trendy Petro Zillia on West 3rd Street, where Aly Scott of StyleChic tells us staff shut the store down for Paris and Elisha. Class dismissed!

The Skinny on the Modeling "Agency"

Published | Updated

VH1's new reality series "The Agency" reveals the ugly side of the beauty biz!

The show takes place inside the famous Wilhelmina modeling agency in New York, where agents and bookers offer some very harsh advice to the young models. While already thin by normal standards, the walking waifs are continually told by their handlers to lose weight, workout more -- and to look like a "bloody stick." The lovely bones!

The modeling industry has been under attack for its skeletal weight demands, causing all of Spain, and fashion capital Milan to set up new codes banning emaciated girls from the catwalks. Bon appetito, ladies!

While the hard truth in "The Agency" may not be pretty, it does make for good TV.

"The Agency" airs Tuesdays at 10:00 PM on VH1.
