Mariah Carey can still cast one helluva spell -- she managed to spend Halloween her ex-hubby Nick Cannon and also her billionaire BF, James Packer.

Mimi slipped into a sexy witch costume for her party Saturday night at her rented Airbnb mansion in Bev Hills, but before the shindig ... she and Nick took their kids trick or treating. Naturally, they did it in the most Mariah way possible -- piling into a golf cart with Moroccan and Monroe.

Nick stuck around for the start of the party, but dipped out before Packer got there.

Amber Rose was forgiveness for Halloween -- she happily welcomed her main chick Blac Chyna back into the fold after all that Future drama.

Chyna posted a photo of the on-again/off-again BFFs cuddling up in their costumes ... the first pic she's posted of them together since bailing on Amber's Slut Walk. Remember, she missed it because she was hanging with Future in D.C.

Now that Future's declaring bachelor status, it looks like all's good with Amber again. BC summed the reunion with another post about "hoe history" and "happiness."

The Abbey is at the epicenter of the biggest Halloween celebration in the world ... so it makes sense the famous gay bar dropped a fortune to make its party epic.

The owners have dropped $50k on decorations and 3 dozen Go-Go dancers who will be well-serviced by a bank of make-up artists.

The Abbey sits just below Santa Monica Blvd., where 500,000 people are expected to congregate to watch floats and wild costumes.

Kendall Jones, the teen who achieved fame for posing with African wildlife she killed, didn't venture too far out of her comfort zone this Halloween ... dressing as Cecil the lion slayer, Walter Palmer.

We're told Jones, a cheerleader at Texas Tech, donned the killer dentist garb for a college party. Her friends dressed as a lion and koala -- the koala might wanna brush up on African wildlife ... koalas are only found in Australia.

Regardless, our source says Kendall liked her getup because she felt it was ironic. You'll recall she took lots of heat last year after photos surfaced of her posing with dead rhinos, elephants and lions.

Several costume companies tell us the replica of Caitlyn's corset, worn for her Vanity Fair cover, is hands down the the most in-demand getup this season. A rep for Wholesale Halloween Costumes says they haven't seen a craze like this since "Frozen" last year.

The rep says they're sold out after 1,000 units of "Call Me Caitlyn" flew off shelves back in August, and they haven't been able to restock for Halloween. Soooo ... Elsa might have to be your plan 'B' this year, fellas.

Note to male purchasers of either costume: Please, please wax or shave.

Chanel West Coast is using the meme that mocks her resemblance to a "Boy Meets World" dork as inspiration for her epic Halloween costume.

The meme went viral this summer -- claiming CWC is a dead ringer for Minkus from the TV show -- and it seems she got a kick out of it too.

We got Chanel Wednesday outside Nasty Gal in West Hollywood, and she explained how she's turning the tables on her haters. It should be an easy get-up to put together:

- 1 pair of nerd glasses

Mariah Carey is directing a Hallmark movie for the holidays starring her favorite character, Gretchen Weiners from "Mean Girls."

Our Mariah people say she started working on "A Christmas Melody" Tuesday and made herself right at home in the director's chair. We're told Mariah had only one request, her favorite actress from her favorite movie star in the flick. Let's be serious ... she had more than one request.

Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Weiners in "Mean Girls" was more than happy to take the lead.

Mariah won't appear in the movie but we're told her music is featured throughout. It's unclear if MiMi tapped into directing legend Brett Ratner for advice.

Kylie Jenner is outdoing big sister Kim again ... this time with her Halloween costume.

Kylie stopped by Trashy Lingerie in LA this week -- the same place Caitlyn Jenner got her Vanity Fair corset -- to get the ball rolling on a sexy mermaid costume.

Kim dressed up as a mermaid back in 2012 for a NYC Halloween party. We're told Kylie's going to show way more skin. And Kylie's kostume will be festooned with beads and rhinestones.

Kim spent around $2,500 for her mermaid costume ... Kylie's going bigger and cheaper -- under $2k.

She also wants extra padding ... some things she just can't one up.

The best "so bad it's good" Halloween costume contest is over ... because now you can dress up this year as Dr. Walter Palmer ... the dentist who killed beloved lion Cecil.

The costume retails for $59.99 and includes a severed lion's head, a smock and gloves with fake blood spatter, and some dentist tools for the front pocket.

Costumeish.com CEO Johnathon Weeks tells TMZ sale of the costume went live at midnight Tuesday and they've yet to sell a single one.

The company says they're doing some good ... 15% of all proceeds will go to the African Wildlife Foundation "Justice for Cecil."

Jax Taylor from "Vanderpump Rules" took a break from the beach Friday night for an extended visit to a Honolulu jail, after getting busted for allegedly stealing a very expensive pair of shades.

Law enforcement sources tell us, Jax is still in the slammer with no immediate prospect of getting out. We're told he allegedly went to a sunglasses shop and stole a pair. He was arrested at his hotel a block away.

The glasses had to be worth more than $300 ... the minimum in Hawaii for charging someone with felony theft.

We’re told the Kardashian girls went all out gifting her with dresses, shoes and accessories for her new wardrobe. Her elder sons Brandon and Burt did yard work so that Caitlyn wouldn’t have to get her manicured hands dirty.

It’s a breaking of tradition for Caitlyn and her kids, who in years past always resorted to sports-related Father’s Day gifts or the token tie.

We're told Caitlyn felt it was the best Father's Day ever.

But there's more. Caitlyn never celebrated Father's Day with all her kids. Kris organized Father's Day events, but the boys and Cassandra rarely went.

Now that there are no wives to organize Father's Day parties, Caitlyn -- like many single dads -- is left to her own devices. We're told Sunday's festivities were initiated by Caitlyn.

Interesting some of the Caitlyn's sons are celebrating with her daughters ... they don't really socialize together.
